Extremely Delayed Refund and Poor Communication

I booked a flight with Air Cairo (Flight SM 223 from Hurghada to Amman), which was cancelled by the airline over two months ago.
The company officially confirmed that a full refund was approved by their financial department on June 22nd. However, after more than six weeks, I have not received any refund or explanation.

I followed up several times via email, but I either received no reply or vague responses with no clear timeline.

To make matters worse, every time I post about this issue on their Facebook page, my comments are deleted within minutes. This lack of transparency and customer care is unacceptable.

As an international traveler, this experience has left me with a very negative impression. I hope this review encourages the company to take its refund and communication processes more seriously.

worst airline ever - should not be allowed to operate

Worst airline I have ever encountered and I am a frequent flyer. On a flight my suitcase was torn, had holes, was dirty with oil, bended and was deemed irreparable. At the airport I filed the damage and have been told that there is every single day destroyed suitcases on Aircairo flights. My claim and request for payment (including provision of all details, report and pictures) has not received a resolution despite repeated follow-ups, and reminders. Tried over hours to reach the Cairo office, nobody ever picks up the phone. Airline refuses that they received a damage report (though I forwarded all again) and requested same information after weeks and ignoring all previous email send. The baggage claim handler in Cairo does not respond to my mails, chasers and reminders. My suitcase is destroyed and nothing happens.
I made various official complaints through the official Aircairo complain page and also email, and despite repeating this and escalating it further that company did not react at all. They offer a contact form for complains and promise to get back and nothing happens. Not any response, not any call.
This airline should not be allowed to operate.

Flight cancelled

Flight cancelled, no notification given meant waiting at the airport for 5 hours for the next flight. No communication, unprofessional in their handling. It was our worst experience with Egyptian domestic airlines.

even if it's for free DONT BOOK WITH THEM even if you think you are lucky you are not with them

You will find it the cheapest flight option but, for that cheap price you can't imagine what are you going to get.
A really really early trip and then when you come in time you find the trip is delayed to an unknown time you may stay more than 8 hours in airport waiting.

This has happened with me and one of my friends in two different flights from two different airports from cairo and another time from sharjah so, it's not related to the airport the company is aweful the cheap price you pay in wait and delay and problems.
DONT DONT DONT DONT book with them even if they were for free they are the worst ever ever PLEASE DONT BOOK WITH THEM. I just want this company to close or at least when there flights get delayed like that they need to repay the customers.

If you think you are lucky and this will not happen to this is exactly what i thought and it happened to me and infront of my eyes for my friend so, it's pretty high probability it's going to happen to you.
