My Wife and I booked a return Taxi for our visit to Iguazu Falls in Argentina with Airport Taxis. The pick up time was booked for 10am from Iguazu Airport. After more than 20 WhatsApp's between myself and the local Taxi Company the driver eventually turned 70 minutes late. When you consider we were only visiting the falls for 5 hours this was a massive chunk out of our visit. The local taxi company repeatedly lied about the whereabouts of the driver even stating a few times that the driver was waiting outside for us. (we were waiting outside). For the return to the airport I expressed to the driver that he must not be late again as we had a plane to catch. This had no effect and the driver was more than 30 minutes late.
On our return to the UK I raised a complaint with Airport Taxis and they said they would investigate. I even provided a timed photographic proof of the taxi turning up late. After they investigated their reply was that since the local taxi company had not responded they had no proof of the late pick-ups (even though I had provided proof) I also noticed that the local taxi company had deleted most of the WhatsApp messages. Airport Taxis said as a good will gesture they would return just under half of the original charge. I once again expressed my unhappiness at this level of compensation, as after what they have done (Or not done) I felt a full refund should have been applied.
All I would say is be very careful if using Airport Taxis as they are clearly not to be relied on.

- Taxi driver was at the wrong place and couldn't arrive in time
- No alternative was provided
- Emergency number didn't pick up the phone
- No reply on the mail for a refund

This smells like a scam

Company cancelled my ride 4 hours after it was confirmed via email and whatsup. Cancellation only came via email, even though we spoke in whatsup to confirm address. On the day and time of supposed pick up, no one responded in whatsup. Terrible service, and useless terms and conditions that do not protect the customer.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM . Driver was over 90 minutes late so we missed our flight home. The company was unbelievably unhelpful and wouldn’t call us back for over 20min at a time, telling us the driver was “around the corner” etc etc until finally admitting “fell asleep”. They refused to refund or pay for our new flights home which cost us over 300 euro.
Driver “refunded” our flights but sent it to a bank that had already closed so the funds bounced back to his account. The company tried to tell us they’d paid us- took MONTHS of chasing for them to send us the fake receipt.
THIEVES & A DISGRACE OF A COMPANY. All 5 star reviews are paid reviews. Disgusting

I have used the service multiple times and am mostly satisfied. Most drivers were on time, helpful and service minded. They offered to carry the suitcases, got a stroller at the airport to put the suitcases on it, opened the doors and helped with carrying the children out of the car. One driver in particular was impolite (not at agreed meeting point, having dinner at Quick's, offered no help with suitcases, on phone with friend, earplugs while driving). However, after personal contact with the business owner, I was reassured that this employee would no longer be collaborated with. I applaud him for making that decision. The reason why I am not giving the business five stars, is that I really regret the lack of good quality car seats. I do not feel safe putting my children in the seats that are currently offered and I would be happy to pay 5-10% on top of the current fees for high quality seats for my children.
