In my experience the company Airport Taxis is not reliable !
My Wife and I booked a return Taxi for our visit to Iguazu Falls in Argentina with Airport Taxis. The pick up time was booked for 10am from Iguazu Airport. After more than 20 WhatsApp's between myself and the local Taxi Company the driver eventually turned 70 minutes late. When you consider we were only visiting the falls for 5 hours this was a massive chunk out of our visit. The local taxi company repeatedly lied about the whereabouts of the driver even stating a few times that the driver was waiting outside for us. (we were waiting outside). For the return to the airport I expressed to the driver that he must not be late again as we had a plane to catch. This had no effect and the driver was more than 30 minutes late.
On our return to the UK I raised a complaint with Airport Taxis and they said they would investigate. I even provided a timed photographic proof of the taxi turning up late. After they investigated their reply was that since the local taxi company had not responded they had no proof of the late pick-ups (even though I had provided proof) I also noticed that the local taxi company had deleted most of the WhatsApp messages. Airport Taxis said as a good will gesture they would return just under half of the original charge. I once again expressed my unhappiness at this level of compensation, as after what they have done (Or not done) I felt a full refund should have been applied.
All I would say is be very careful if using Airport Taxis as they are clearly not to be relied on.
