I cannot fault their professionalism and skill. My wife and I bought a new kitchen from Wren, and they were recommended by the Wren Designer. On the first day of installation they consulted with me regarding the type of floor we were having laid, and how they would make sure to allow room for the flooring to be laid seamlessly. This was before they began any work. They advised me on how to deal with a problem I had with the waste pipe under our sink, and went above and beyond with in so many ways. At the end of the installation the kitchen was left spotlessly clean. What more could we have asked for?

If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. We were introduced to AJI via Ikea when I was still in 2 minds about buying a kitchen from them. From the moment Tony walked through the door all uncertainty was blown away. His professionalism and pragmatic approach to the work was only matched by the excellent quality of the installation. He and Glen went over and above a “standard installation” with little bespoke touches everywhere…from a custom made shelf to cutting in cupboards to ensure that we got the kitchen we wanted. They were always on time, and tidy in their work. Jo was also fantastically efficient, responsive to all emails and great at coordinating everything behind the scene. But what makes AJI so exceptional is how they dealt with challenges. Towards the end of the build we had an issue with a water pipe to our old water softener. The pipe disconnected at around 3am on a Sunday morning, and not knowing where the problem lay I emailed them in despair. Tony responded almost immediately and made the 1+ hour drive to our home arriving around 4.30am. He was his cheerful self and made good the problem without complaint despite the problem not down to any of his work. Never have I seen such incredible service. I cannot recommend this team enough.

We were introduced to this company through IKEA who we purchased our new kitchen from. I have nothing but good things to say about how professional they were from initial contact through to the completion of the project. Tony identified a couple of issues on his pre installation inspection when he checked measurements against the ones I gave to IKEA and suggested suitable alterations. All work was carried out with a minimum of fuss and mess was kept to a minimum. They provided a temporary sink for the majority of the project which was a godsend. Overall we are delighted with our new kitchen and the quality of the work carried out by Tony and his team.

Loved that they organised organised everything needed for our kitchen refit, fitted around our availability, and did a great job.

AJI fitted our new kitchen and were unbelievably helpful, thoughtful, carful and efficient. Tony and his team are a joy to work with and we cannot thank them enough.
The kitchen units came from one of the usual suspects but there were some complex design issues which Tony and team took in their stride and made a first class job.

Amazing kitchen installation by AJ Installations and the awesome Tony and Glen were simply the best, most considerate, thoughtful, diligent and professional tradesmen and decent fellows.

I can’t rate them highly enough.

They treated our home like their own, they have brilliant advice , were patient with my many questions and couldn’t do enough to ensure everything went smoothly.

My Magnet kitchen was installed beautifully by two highly experienced craftsmen.
I for one, had no idea of the complexity and precision involved in a complete kitchen fit - I learned so much.

Tony and Glen have recently completed our kitchen, designed and built by Wren. Our kitchen looks amazing, both Tony and Glen are extremely experienced in fitting kitchens. They are hard working, with a solution to any little niggles there may be. They work with limited mess and disruption and clear up as they go along. We couldn’t recommend them enough. Our thanks go out to them both and Jo, who was helpful from start to finish and on top of making sure we were kept informed of each step of the installation. Thank you, the kitchen looks perfect. Pleasure getting to know you all. Keep safe.

They did a good job, completely trust worthy. With special thanks to Glen, Tony & Mick the electrican. They done a really good job of my new kitchen, very pleased with it.

Not good , won’t reply to phone calls , can’t explain the extra charges on estimate so cancelled work booked in ..not recommended

AJI have been superb from the onset of the install. The customer service, attention to detail, speed and quality of the work has been excellent.

Decades of experience in the industry so nothing is overlooked and solutions are presented to you before you are aware of the problems.

Jo, Tony and team have been fantastic from start to finish.

Going through Wren for a complete new kitchen, we were absolutely delighted with the service AJI has provided. The workmanship has been excellent and beyond the extra mile.

All our queries through the process were answered quickly and smoothly with no issues at all. We couldn’t be any happier with our new kitchen and would highly recommend AJI for anyone’s kitchen needs.

2nd time we have used them. Very professional and the workmanship is excellent.

From the initial telephone contact with his office, and subsequent visit I found that Tony and his team kept me informed as to what to expect and when they would carry out the work.
The office team confirmed the day and time each of the trades would arrive, with an expected finish date which they kept to, when the skip would arrive, when the skip would be removed, the disposal of my old white goods all covered in our discussions.
Each of the trades in his team (Electrician, plasterer, Gas fitter, & kitchen fitter) worked cleanly and went the extra mile to ensure that dust and disruption was kept to a minimum.
The electrician put up additional dust sheets completely sealing the working area to reduce the spread of dust during the channelling out process for the new electrical sockets.
Each team member was polite & considerate, and made sure that they consulted me and kept me informed at all stages

A big thank you to them all job well done.

Anthony Johnston Installations were introduced to us by Wren. Main complaints are:
Poor customer service - You will need to be very proactive if you want your kitchen fitted in a timely manner.
Incomplete work - They didn't turn up towards the end of the job! We employed another fitter to finish the work.
Poor fitting - The new fitter examined the work and discovered simple mistakes made to the panels in the corners between the units.
They refused to refund the full deposit we paid for additional works that were not completed, and in some cases, not started. The new fitter and representative from Wren found AJI's invoice for additional works confusing, in that some of the work should have been done as standard. They also couldn't work out what some of the items meant on the invoice, and they are in the trade!
Damage to our property - List of items damaged below:
- Window pane on our front door. AJI refused to replace this. Wren have kindly stepped in to make the repairs.
- Wine carafe - AJI eventually replaced this
- Front panel on our dishwasher - AJI deny that they caused this damage.
Overall, our experience with Anthony Johnston Installation was extremely negative and stressful. We would advise avoiding them at all costs.
