Terrible product!!! No directions. No help when call. Gate and gear operator from Aleko and shipped together but do not work! No possible way for rollers to work on gate frame. No place to properly install gear rail. Came with hinges and holes for them tho is a rolling gate so no holes or location for wheels. TERRIBLE. DO NOT BUY!!!

I ordered a 20X10 half cassette motorized awning from Aleko's website on 3/19/2026 (Thursday)... it arrived by FedX 3/23/2026 (Monday). They are in Seattle Wash, and we are in a small town near Ottawa, Canada. Though I ordered on the website, I called with a few questions before completing my order. The guy I spoke to was very helpful, answering my questions fully. He said the shipment would be at my door within 7 days which I thought was optimistic... but it was here on the 2nd working day! We unpacked it today, looks like everything is in order. Our kids are coming for Easter weekend to help us install it. Hoping that this great start is an indication of how the installation will go.

I had a new Aleko gate opener installed 7 months ago by a professional installer. We had an ice storm and the cover leaked water into the unit and fried the board. I called Aleko and told them that I had a time date stamped picture of the box for proof of the purchase and installation date. They refused to replace there product. I think it is perfectly reasonable to call the product defective when it supposed to be designed for out door use. ABSOLUTELY horrible customer service.

Gate lasted about 6 years before it totally rotted out. Aleko has no record of the gate but they have the date I purchased the actuator. I purchased both at the same time. So sad.

I received the sliding gate I ordered timely. That's the only plus. There were 6 boxes and no packing slip to confirm that I received all the parts needed. Customer service people (2) I spoke with were the rudest, most condescending customer service staff I have ever encountered. They privided no help whatsoever.

PCB replacement circuit board kit for the ALEKO AC2700. No where, not anywhere, Been 5 years of problems. Junk. Expensive sliding gate motor 20 foot sliding gate new driveway. Crazy I cannot find a new PCB Board. It stopped closing. It is just junk, made you know where.

Don’t touch their gate opener products. Bought two pairs, neither work. Months of back and forth now turning into over a year, No resolution. No refund. Hours of wasted time replacing parts and providing pictures and videos. Had to bring in a 3rd party (at my cost) who verified all of our issues. Aleko are now ignoring all emails and calls on our case.

I bought a privacy screen through Amazon from this company. It was supposed to be 85% blockage, but I don't believe it was near that as I could clearly see through it, so I ordered a second one to double the thickness to obtain the privacy I actually wanted. Both screens were supposed to be 6'x25' with grommets every 24" apart. NOT! One screen was one inch difference in height, 5" shorter in length and one screen had grommets 24" apart in some places and 26" in other spots, so the 2 screens DID NOT line up to double properly. I had to zip-tie through the seams where grommets were misaligned. I would not purchase again and I have reservations at how long they will even last as making holes in the seams made it clear that they are not very thick. More like a plastic material.

I would mention that you need to "research" WHERE an item is "manufactured". Many companies these days use American names that are located in the US, but they are only a "distribution" center for imported products. Some companies are also listing items as imported, but won't specify what country it's being imported from. Even long time American companies don't always have ALL American made products anymore. "Some" of their products may still be made in the USA and other products they carry are made in several other countries. I recently ran into this ordering a ratchet tool.

From day on the product was a nightmare to install. Instruction manual is pretty much useless. The install videos are acceptable. Assembled the 3 piece roller and stiffeners and lifted it from one end only to find that it sags in the middle. The hardware screws holding the roller together are crap. Way to short and small to do any good holding it together. The fabric has a pronounced sag at one side. I t will not shed any train at all, not even a little. Their solution for poor roller design is to add a support roller support in the middle. This is a bandied and only causes the fabric to bunch up. Called and emailed tech support with no creditable help or real solicitations. Sent plenty of pictures and video on the various issues and problems. Today after they view the videos they said it LOOKS NORMAL. There are other companies that have a much better products. Now we are stuck with this inferior product. I regret buying an awning from this company. Update 07-10-2025 The tech support email I received today is a joke!! This is a quote: "The issue was most likely exacerbated by the awning being left out in the rain causing the water to pool on the fabric and for it to sag and stretching the fabric out." There never was any rain allow on the awning in any of the pictures and video they were sent. Typical company response is to blame the customer for their junk products.

I purchased the Canadian Hemlock 4 person sauna with harvia heater. It was definately easy to assemble, however, the glass door and front was already assembled. in the instruction video its not. This made the front very heavy and difficult to manage. The real issue is the lack of instruction with regard to the interior lighting. There is not a single piece of information from Aleko (i called them, useless) nor is there any info online about how to power the interior lights.

I have a slide gate opner that has work perfectly for years now. I recently added the wifi gate controller that Aleko offers through Remootio and it works great. For the cost and service they are hard to beat. They answered every one of my questions and stepped me through some trouble shooting on it too. I will be buying another opener kit for the back of my property when that gate is built. Thank you!!!!

I had a need to have shade on my back patio to shade the inside of my house to lessen the heat and light coming in during the main sunlight hours as well as to enjoy being outside more with having additional shade. I was able to find this product and not only love the functionality of it but I love the scallop design and stripe design. It is so easy to use with the remote control and we have loved it! We have been very pleased with this product and would strongly recommend it for the design and the function!

Only giving one star because zero stars isn't an option. Aleko gate has been a nightmare from start till now (two years later). My original order shipped with missing peices. New (wrong peices were then shipped). Twenty some emails/call later all correct parts were received. Parts have broken within two years (outside warrenty period)...Expensive parts (gate arm, wand, etc). Terrible customer service. I accidentally ordered an extra part with the repacememt wand that broke (the part was missing from my original order so I though I needed it)...they refused me a refund...after spending thousands of dollars...wow

I purchased the 16' motorized, retractable awning with a half-cassette awning cover. The problem is the awning bunches up when being retracted which causes the whole unit to bind up and results in the arms & framing to bend. So, the awning can only be partially retracted in order to avoid parts breaking. The problem is clear: the roller, which the awning wraps around when retracted, sags in the middle which causes the canvas to roll up unevenly with creases & bunching in the middle. I emailed the company and all they do is read tips & warnings from the instructions (which I already read and implemented). They are not able to actually troubleshoot. The worst is, this email back & forth has taken months between waiting for a response, applying the suggested "fixes" (which was the same tips given in the product instructions), and then more email back & forth. Well after 3 months of working with them and unable to resolve the problem, I said I would like a refund. Well, there is only a 30-day return period! But they took months to try to help me! I followed all instructions and suggested fixes in a very timely manner, but they won't stand behind the product because it's been more than 30 days. Hmmm. I still continued to work with them since I had no choice - when I asked for someone more experienced to help me, that person suggested that I don't retract the awning all the way to prevent the problem(!). I couldn't believe it. Strangely, they acknowledge the sagging roller issue AND offer a part that supports the middle of the roller for the awning without the half-cassette cover, but not for the one I bought with the half-cassette. I just continue to get the "run-around" treatment. Ultimately, I advise to AVOID ALEKO, but if you don't, you should at least avoid awnings with the half-cassette or buy two 8' awnings instead of the 16' that I purchased. Very disappointed. It was a lot of work to install and now doesn't fully retract.

This is the perfect size for our space and plenty of room for 1-because I am the only one to use it. Works well in "cool-warm" weather as it is outside on my Florida lania

100% satisfied! Everything shipped by promised timing deadlines, the installation process was much easier than similar products we have bought in the past. Now the awning is up, beautiful, and working perfectly.

Advertised a 8X8 RV awning. Upon ordering and told it was to be shipped. Next communication was it was not in stock and on backorder for shipment in 4 to 6 weeks.
Next communication to check the status of the order is the product has been discontinued, yet it is still posted on the web site for purchase.
No communication to that until I called to check on the order.

We ordered a part for our awning in the spring. They got their money but we never got our part. We have contacted them numerous times only to be told they are surprised we haven't received it and would send it immediately. But it never happened. The summer is coming to a close and we still cannot use our awning.
Is this company a scam?

Aleko products cannot be trusted. They use cheap materials that breaks down less than one year. Total ripped off with sales tactics. Beware ** Don’t Buy Aleko Products** you will stuck with defective products that they will not replace after your one year warranty.
