Do NOT honour warranty policy

Do NOT honour warranty policy
Absolutely appalled by Alexander McQueen — a brand that markets itself as “luxury” yet delivers shockingly poor quality products and fails to take responsibility when those products prove defective. Charging premium prices means nothing when the craftsmanship does not last and customer loyalty is met with dismissive, unacceptable aftercare. A true luxury house stands behind its products and honours its warranty policies. McQueen has completely failed on both quality and integrity.

Most arrogant company in the world

Most arrogant company in the world. They don't take any responsibility for anything. I got at least 15 pairs of alex McQueen and 2 times the shoes had issues in the first week. I went back to the shop, they sent the pair to Italy and after months they told me they can't take any responsibility, even sketchers have better support. I have never seen more arrogance. They won't own up to their mistakes.

Worst customer service ever

I received a pair of Alexander McQueen shoes as a gift, and when one of the rivets came loose, I simply wanted to buy a replacement. However, the customer service I encountered was beyond absurd.

They refused to help me because I didn’t have proof of purchase, even though I was perfectly willing to pay for the rivet. Apparently, they need proof of purchase to "protect the rights of the original buyer" and "trace the purchase." How does wanting to buy a spare part damage anyone's rights? I’m not asking for a refund or a replacement – just a tiny rivet.

To top it off, Emmanuel, the representative, went as far as making parts of his email bold, implying I didn’t understand what he was saying. Talk about treating customers like idiots! If I were his manager, I’d be seriously questioning his problem-solving skills.

This is not about “luxury” service; this is an out-of-touch attitude that lacks basic customer care.

It’s just a rivet! If your whole process is so inflexible that it can’t handle such a simple issue, there’s a serious problem with your customer service.

Guys, IT WAS A GIFT! Life happens, and sometimes you don’t have the receipt. Get off your high horse and deal with real-world situations.

This is a joke. A tiny rivet for a pair of shoes that cost hundreds, and I can’t even get it fixed. I am honestly speechless how low this is.

Long-time customer turned to a never-again buyer.

Warning do not buy this junk

Alexander McQueen items are junk. My $300 keychain fell apart (made in china) and all I get is a run around or hung up on when I call. Avoid this over priced junk

I have a pair of Alexander mcqueen…

I have a pair of Alexander mcqueen shoes. Unfortunately the sole has come away due to wear and tare. I emailed Alexander mcqueen and asked if they could help. I said that the normal repair shops will not repair them as they r expensive shoes.
I emailed head office. They asked for pictures and receipts. I provided everything I could. I even said I would pay for the repairs.
I was told because I purchased the shoes at Harvey Nichols, Alexander mcqueen will not repair my shoes.
They told me to have a nice day!
I will not be buying any more Alexander mcqueen products.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service from Alexander McQueen

I am deeply disappointed with the customer service provided by Alexander McQueen. As a loyal customer, I expected a level of professionalism and fairness that is fitting for a luxury brand, but my recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

I ordered a pair of sneakers in the wrong size. After trying them on once inside my apartment, I promptly returned them in their original packaging. Despite following all return guidelines, my refund was denied with the baseless claim that the shoes were “worn.” This is simply not true.

They claimed a “second review” of the return but failed to provide any meaningful explanation or evidence to support their decision. Instead of addressing my detailed concerns, they repeatedly sent generic emails, ignoring the facts I presented. No one bothered to reach out via phone, even though I requested it multiple times.

I have successfully returned items before in the same condition without issue, showing I am a responsible and honest customer. However, this time, they completely dismissed my concerns.

The lack of accountability and dismissive attitude from their customer service team is appalling. They seem more interested in avoiding refunds than resolving genuine customer concerns. This is unacceptable for a brand that prides itself on luxury and high standards.

I will be pursuing legal action if my refund is not processed promptly. I strongly advise anyone considering shopping with Alexander McQueen to think twice, especially if you expect fair treatment and reliable customer support.

Avoid this brand unless you want to risk being treated with complete disregard.

Absolutely disgraceful and deeply disappointing

A while ago, I purchased a pair of shoes from Alexander McQueen. As a loyal customer who had always been satisfied with their products, I expected nothing less than exceptional quality. What a mistake! After wearing the shoes only twice, the leather was already damaged. For a brand in this price range, this is not only disappointing but downright outrageous.

Since I still had a warranty, I assumed the issue would be resolved promptly. Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. After months of waiting and endless communication, the store did absolutely nothing to address the problem. Absolutely nothing! This shows a complete lack of respect for their customers and service that is embarrassingly poor.

I want to warn everyone to stop buying from this brand. The quality now seems comparable to budget brands like Primark, but the prices are thousands of times higher. It feels like a scam, executed in a way that leaves you powerless. This company takes no responsibility and appears to care only about profit, with no regard for their customers or products.

Absolutely disgraceful and deeply disappointing

Very poor quality and bad costumer service

Such a horrible quality of shoes that don’t even last for a year.. even worse when you send it back for a repair they don’t even wanna take responsibility for their bad product claiming that its my fault for taking bad care of it. How is a tear in a shoe and squeaky sound my fault??!

Bond street customer service and faulty dress

1 star is even too much for such experience I had. After wearing the new dress twice this month, it came apart on the seam and looked ripped. I went to the boutique on Bond Street London, and shared with management my problem. They accused me that I was not wearing it properly and overall it can happen. However, since I was wearing it already it’s only my problem and they propose to do for me only alteration in store. Since I needed the dress later this month I agreed. However, the alteration has been done poorly and the threads which are going out are still visible. Furthermore, they did corset parts not proportional. I asked manager to make a note, that there is a problem and I might have to come again. He said ‘it’s not our responsibility’ and started conflict with me. This time accusing me that I don’t talk nicely to him. Two days in a row he did it in front of his team and customers. Customer care service also took the store side story and refuse to accept that item is faulty. When I shared with customer support the right feelings I had, they hang out the phone.Do I really want to buy something else again from the brand? Probably not. In the store everyone was nice to me until they needed me to do a purchase. After I came with the problem I was accused, demoralized and ignored.

Low Quality Sneakers

Bought a pair of £590 Hybrid Court Sneakers.

They had a squeak in the heel. I did not return straight away as I assumed the noise may 'settle' after a while; as we all know shoes sometimes take some time to wear in.

Upon inspection the shoe and heel had become disconnected at the back. I went back to Alexander McQueen for a repair or replacement and after several back and forth messages over email my request was denied.

They argued the issue was caused by wear and tear. Even if this was true, which it was not, I would expect a pair of £590 Sneakers to last at least 3-5 years before encountering problems of this nature. As such I can only assume poor build quality is at fault here.

The non resolution of the complaint, with Emmanuel from Customer Service, was a big disappointment. Although he was very professional and prompt in his responses he was ultimately unable to resolve.

I have had to resort to repairing with glue from the hardware store!

I'll stick to other, cheaper, higher quality, brands in the future!

Never ever again

My son saved up all his money to buy a pair of Alexander McQueen sneakers. He did a good job convincing us why they were worth such a ridiculous price.

First half year he only wore them at special occasions and last 6 months more frequently as in maybe twice a week.

Couple of weeks ago I noticed that they actually looked awful and were basically falling apart.

When reaching back out to the store, adding pictures the response was painful. Basically it was nothing strange and to be expected when wearing shoes and also due to the maintenance.

When taking the shoes to our shoemaker he noticed the bad quality and even a layer of paper in the soles.

Seriously a sneaker pair bought in Gambia on the market last longer. They must be joking.

They should be ashamed charging over €500,- and not taking ownership when things go wrong.

Never ever again

Packed wrong goods!

I went to the London Bond st shop the day before new years eve and bought a jacket to wear the next night for a party. The sale asst came out from packing up the jacket and gave me the wrong bag! I only found out when I got it home, so too late for the event I bought it for!. Not only that but the customer service was rude and extremely unhelpful not offering any apologies or taking any responsibility for the mistake. Even refusing a refund despite me never even receiving the jacket. I would never go there again and would warn people off this store absolutely they do not know anything about customer service. they deserve a zero review!

Premium Price, Cheap Product.

After buying my first pair of Alexander McQueen sneakers within a year the leather had ripper whilst tieing the shoelaces. I brought the shoes back to the Chadstone store in which they were originally purchased to chase a resolution. The staff took photos of the shoes and raised a case with head office. After waiting multiple weeks I received a text message from the store saying "HQ has reject this case due to the damage is caused cannot be repaired". After calling the store they advised that i could escalate this by calling head office directly. After waiting another week i received the following email. "After careful assessment and consultation with our technical experts, it is with regret that we must inform you that, unfortunately, there is no feasible repair solution for the issues with your shoes. We have exhausted all possible avenues in attempting to address the concerns raised in your ticket."
When paying an EXTREMELY premium price I expected a premium quality product along with a premium level of support and these guys have fallen significantly short on both fronts. To offer no sort of resolution is disgraceful.
