Ordered a scrub top ,I returned it and I am currently still waiting for my refund ,despite showing proof of postage ,royal mail proof of delivery ,I think everyone knows how hard nhs staff work and how little they get paid ,we cannot afford to purchase uniform and not recieve the refund ,shocking company ,shocking customer service .

Placed an order for a work shirt on 9th Sept after making sure the size was available. Waiting 10 days but no shirt, contacted the company to be told its out of stock until 19th. It's now 1st oct, still no shirt and no response from the company despite repeated emails. Order number AW901009172 if the company can be bothered to check.

Courier said attempted delivery on several occasions, dont know where to but was to the huge unmissable medical centre it should of been delivered to. Waited several weeks befir i had to contact Alexandra myself to chase, and was inbformed that the parcel had been returned to them by the courier. I ws informed that a refund had been sent, bit hadnt until the day i made contact. Lack of comminiction with the ckient is unprofessional

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Alexandra. After my return was lost, I reached out for a refund or credit, but they refused to offer any form of resolution. Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, showing no willingness to take responsibility for the issue. I would caution others to be aware, as I found the company untrustworthy and unaccommodating.

I returned my items almost 3 weeks ago now and havent received so much as an email let alone a refund. The online chat system is useless as the only response you get is “please contact during our open hours” which is what i am doing. I have sent multiple emails which have all gone unanswered and also messaged them on facebook

Absolutely shocking customer service - which is pretty much non-existent. You can’t actually get through on the phone or webchat to speak to anyone, all you get is recorded phone messages. Sent a return back nearly a week ago and have not had confirmation or any update. I wouldn’t advise using this company unless to want unnecessary hassle!
EDIT: My return has finally been fully refunded (early Nov) after being picked up by Claire who responded promptly and dealt with everything professionally. Unfortunately I wouldn’t order from Alexandra again after this experience as I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to get my refund returned.

Absolute thieves, ordered lab coats for my son starting Uni, four 4 weeks later and we’ve received nothing! But they have taken my money. Poor communication and complete lies when I got to speak to a senior customer service advisor. Be warned, order at your peril!

Still waiting for a refund 19 days after Alexandra received my order back. Despite phoning I am getting no where. I have provided the tracking number twice and got told a Manager would investigate but still nothing. I will never order from them again.
I have yet again been asked for the order number which I have already provided twice when contacting Alexandra. Two more days have passed and no updates about my refund after it was supposedly passed onto a manager and surprise, surprise no refund still.

Ordered on the 2nd sept. No order confirmation was sent yet the money has been taken out of my bank account and the order is showing as dispatched on my customer account.
I have emailed customer care three times now with no response.

I was looking to speak to a member of the customer service team regarding my recent order. Webchat isn't manned, phones I gave up after 20mins and the callback option I chose still hasnt 'called back' 4 hours after selected. I don't hold hope I will get one. Very disappointed for a supposedly reputable company.

I recently ordered scrubs and a fleece from Alexandra Workwear and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing.
After placing the order, I did not receive any email confirmation. The only communication I received was tracking information directly from DHL. As I work long shifts in healthcare, I arranged for delivery to a service point, but when DHL attempted this, the delivery was apparently refused and sent back to the depot. The tracking advised me to contact the sender.
I used Alexandra’s online contact form to ask for the next steps but never received a reply — even after three weeks. I then had to call their customer service line. I was told they would arrange with DHL for re-delivery within a couple of days, but no delivery ever came, and I received no new tracking number or updates.
When I called again, the advisor had limited information about what had happened and eventually confirmed the order had been returned to Alexandra. I was told I would automatically receive a refund. While I was given an apology, there was no explanation for the repeated failures in communication, no updates throughout the process, and no attempt to offer a solution or reassurance that the same issues wouldn’t happen again. I was simply advised to place a new order, but with no guarantee of avoiding the same experience.
As a customer, I feel very let down. The lack of communication and follow-up meant I could easily have been left waiting indefinitely for items I urgently needed for work. The service felt dismissive and offered no reparations beyond a basic apology.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me with no confidence in ordering from Alexandra Workwear again.

I like the quality of the garments, but I have to say I've had errors with numerous orders, particularly ones involving embroidery. To be fair, the customer services after has been helpful but I would really rather not waste time having to sort issues and wait for replacement garments.
One of the biggest things Alexandra can do is improve the online ordering process... From when you add the garment to your basket, you are not able to check any personalisations. This includes when the order arrives with the delivery note, and on the online account history.
So please... If you are ordering be certain to add to your basket very carefully. And Alexandra... Please sort this out!

Terrible company taken since 26th August and still no refund keep getting told the same script that they will contact returns department and get back to me no one has and still waiting for second item to be delivered say they have a back log .. will never use again .
