AlgoCademy feels like a structured path…

AlgoCademy feels like a structured path through common algorithm and data-structure patterns rather than a random pile of practice problems. The biggest value is the guided workflow: you get enough explanation, often in short, clear segments, to unblock you, but it still pushes you to reason through the solution instead of handing it over. Over time, the progression makes concepts stick, and you start noticing improvements in how you approach unfamiliar problems and how cleanly you implement them. It’s especially geared toward interview-style prep, so the content tends to map well to the kinds of questions people see in technical screenings. If you respond well to step-by-step hints and a curriculum-like sequence, it can be a confidence booster and a practical way to build consistency. It brings to the table the structure we all wish LeetCode had.

It's just ok

It's just ok. I like it better than CodeCademy for sure. Coding examples in the videos for the Java course are only in Python. I guess that doesn't really matter, but for the cost of monthly membership, it feels a little lazy.

One thing that is REALLY ANNOYING is that I keep getting interrupted to write reviews. So I stopped what I was doing and wrote a review, and yet I'm still getting prompted to write a review every 2 minutes. I promise if it keeps happening the reviews are not going to be stellar...

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and I sincerely apologize for the review prompts disrupting your learning.

We’ve just adjusted the review request frequency to make it far less intrusive. You’re absolutely right that getting interrupted every 2 minutes is unacceptable when you’re trying to focus.

Regarding the Java course videos using Python examples - our approach focuses on teaching problem-solving patterns that work across languages, but I understand the frustration when you’re paying for language-specific learning. We’re exploring ways to better serve students who want more language-specific content.

I appreciate that you find AlgoCademy better than Codecademy despite these issues. Your feedback helps us improve.

best coding training on the market!

Great platform to quickly learn python and prep for interviews. The exercises are well designed and build on each other nicely to build knowledge that sticks. I would highly recommend this platform to anyone!
