I'm not really sure what the benefit is for having the Alias app. It's kind of clunky, from a design perspective. It's also a pain to have to go between two apps to cash out or list items for sale.... See more

Mark everything as replica and charge you for that

I sold a Fear of God Essentials hoodie through alias.com, purchased directly from Fear of God. Alias and their super experts claim it's a replica; they don't send you photos or details about why they come to that conclusion. Because of that, I ended up paying a total of $30 between fees and shipping.

Bad Shipping Insurance process after My Air Jordan One sneakers were damaged…

My Air Jordan One sneakers were damaged during the pre-sale alias.org authentication/inspection process. 1-They did NOT take photos of the damaged package
2-They did NOT photograph nor keep the damaged sneaker sole that became separated from the sneakers.
3-They were very unhelpful and not responsive with UPS during the shipping insurance claim.
4-they would only address/answer 1 question in each of my e-mail communications, so I had to send dozens of emails to get answers to all my questions in order to process the shipping insurance claim.
5-They do NOT have a telephone contact # to resolve issues
6-All of the alias email responses were from persons unable to offer comprehensive support. Only recited the standard organization policy and were unable to initiate first-person/supervisory-level authority responses.

Shady practice and no accountability

I have been dealing with someone from customer service about my lost items. I sent 5 pairs of shoes and UPS Lost my items and I was told that they have settled it already but yet, I have not gotten my money from my merchandise. Having no live person to talk to, I can only rely on email back and forth and it’s been over 2 weeks already dealing with this and seems like no cares. I am out of merchandise and the funds I was expecting is now gone even with my merchandise was insured. I am out over $1100 and no one is escalating this matter to anyone that can fix it. I would be very careful selling through here because of lack of action when things don’t go according to plan.

Platform has gone 100% downhill in the last years. Been both a buyer and seller on the platform and when my order was badly damaged as a buyer I was told I’m stuck with it or I can return it only for store credit. Terrible customer service on both sides of the buyer and seller. Do not recommend

I've been reselling over a year

I've been reselling over a year. I started using alias and it's been a very bad experience. Every time I log in it says suspicious so I took everything off of It. I have no idea why it flagged me. Ill say use eBay or stock x, because this is ridiculous.

Delayed Funds Transfer

The reason I’m giving three stars is because the amount of time it took for my funds to transfer to PayPal. When I send the funds directly from Goat app it takes 20 seconds compared to you all it’s takes almost 24hours. Get that fixed I’ll give 5 stars easy. Thank you

Misleading status and delayed progress

As compared to my previously sold item, i had a bad experience this time due to delayed delivery and misleading status of the order stating it is “lost in transit”. Not sure if it is in Alias or the new delivery partner Janio. It took almost 2 weeks to received my money which is unusual comparing to previous transaction which only took 4 days using DHL.

I sold a pair of shoes

I sold a pair of shoes, Jordan 3 black cement Uk 10, I shipped the shoes to DHL as they have instructed me to everything was fine until it reaches them to verify they saying the box is damaged there’s a clean split in the box which doesn’t make sense because I has shipped it completely fine (I have proof) and they cancelled my sell despite me explaining this happened out of my control because I already shipped it. Addition to they have given me 2 options to either consign or have it shipped back why are they charging extra money to ship back despite this is issue being on their end. This isn’t the first time the app has done this, done sell with Alias it’s a cash loss reselling app.

Don’t sell your shoes on Alias

Don’t sell your shoes on Alias. They are scammers In my opinion. They claimed my brand new in box straight from GOAT shoes were worn. Yeezy Dazzling blues The tiniest area on the bottom wasn’t pure white. I literally thought it was just glue or something from the shoe making process. Never thought about it. They have them. And want me to sell at a discount. If GOAT says they are brand new why doesn’t Alias. I see way too many issues with their process. I removed all my shoes from their platform. Never again. Then if you want your shoes back they’ll make you pay. So stupid. Their customer service is awful.

Great selling platform

All the sales and transactions went well. I was pleased at how quickly some of my items sold, and how quickly I received the shipping labels. The only way I'd like to sell my items. Also I was able to link my Goat account to Alias.
