Had an emergency with an old disused swimming pool which suddenly started filling up with water. Glen arrived within an hour, had parts on his van which made the repair job quicker (no need to go to plumber's merchant half a hour away). Very quick, very efficient. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had an issue with a leaking stop valve under the sink. They went out of their way, even did a video call, to show me how to turn off the hot water feed to allow me to change the valve. My house is over 400 years old and so the piping is super complex.
They could have easily charged me £150+ per hour to come to the house and resolve the problem. Knowing this could be quite simple, they helped me out via video call.

We had a toilet that was overflowing and we couldn’t turn the stopcock to turn the water off…. We found Glen around 11.30pm and he said he would come round!
He was fantastic, arrived quickly, found the isolation for the toilet itself and he showed us for future, plus he managed to move the stop cock that was stuck!
So friendly, courteous and so helpful with tips too!

Was let down by a previous plumber. Phoned Glen and he soon arrived knew exactly what needed doing and we arranged for the work to be done the next day. Plumber arrived today ( Tues 2.7.24) early did the work needed tested for leaks. Toilet working 🚽. Happy to use ALK again and will recommend to friends and family in future👍. Thank you. 😊

Excellent service and speedy response at 6am on a Sunday morning. Plumber sent round within half hour of calling and leak identified and sorted within the hour.

Immediately answered my call, midday on a Sunday and attended our property very shortly afterwards. The engineer who attended set to work immediately, diagnosing and jetting the sewer pipe. After a number of attempts the blockage was cleared. All costs were reconfirmed on arrival to ensure no misunderstanding and payment taken by card machine with a comprehensive summary report of work conducted. Very pleased that our issue was resolved. No hesitation in recommending this service/company.
