Ordered from this shoddy company on 7.2.23. I paid £94.46 for my safe and noticed after paying the money-back guarantee, so I hit google and found at least three stores selling cheaper, so I contacted the company with three quotes and three legitimate websites offering identical safes and identical postage only to be told they cannot beat their own price due to the cost they purchased it for. Why do a money-back guarantee, then? Quote "PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE

Dispicable behaviour from what is supposed to be a reputable company. They couldn't lie straight in a coffin!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

Follow up email
It would be unfair to do so. You are responsible for honouring the price match guarantee you have made. The practice does not serve your customers' interests, especially new customers such as myself, who rate your company and can make formal complaints if compelled to do so.

Feeling very let down by a business that promises the earth and delivers nothing

Since posting my review All About Safes have been in touch with a follow up email as follows:
"Good morning Samantha,

I've spoken with my sales manager and we will honour the pricematch to £77.94 inc VAT, at cost to us.
I'll get this sent out for delivery tomorrow and I'll get the price difference refunded as soon as possible.

Perfect service, ordered and received very quickly as advertised. Great product and great experience.

Purchased a safe from these. All good until you need to return the item. It took them 2 months to refund the item and then they decided to charge a discretionary 25% charge to take the item back, which is their maximum percentage of discretionary charge according to terms and conditions. Never mind the fact they had our money for 2 months and we paid delivery for the item to be returned, disgusting never use again. Bad way to do business. Ensure the right safe for you before purchasing. Good luck if you use them...

The customer service from All About About Safes initially was very good - easy to contact being responsive to telephone calls as well as emails.

We needed to wait some six weeks before the safe we had chosen was in stock again and were contacted by email to advise when the safe came back into stock. We ordered the safe and paid the full amount and booked a delivery date. We also arranged for an independent safe installer to fit the safe that evening for us. The delivery date was on a Friday and so I had to take the whole day off from work as you are only provided with a 09:00 - 17:00 delivery slot.

It got to 12:00 pm on the Friday and I telephoned to double check the order was definitely still being delivered that day. Charlotte said she would call me back once she had checked. Charlotte called back a couple of hours later to advise there had been an error and the delivery would not be with us that day. I had taken the day off from work especially and explained I was not willing to take another day off from work and they would need to arrange for a next day (Saturday delivery) which they said they would do. Meanwhile, I had to contact the safe installer to cancel, who quite rightly so, was rather peeved as he had scheduled our installation into his diary for that day around other installations.

We waited in on the following Saturday morning until we received an automated text with a tracking link which when accessed said the delivery was scheduled for Monday!!
We telephoned All About Safes to be told they could not access their systems and that from their experience, that if the delivery was not with us by 13:00 then it would be with us on the Monday!! We were apparently speaking to 'Dean' who said he was the MD and advised he would arrange compensation for us for all the inconvenience. Needless to say we waited in until 13:00 and the safe was not delivered that day. Once again I had to cancel our rearranged safe installation.

I had no choice but to take another day off from work to accept the Monday delivery. We finally received the safe delivery. However, despite emails and calls to All About Safes we have not received any compensation as had been promised for our inconvenience. I find this ironic since All About Safes charge an advance of £148.80 to install a safe which would be non refundable if you didn't happen to be at home. However, they seem to somehow consider it acceptable to 'arrange' a number of false delivery dates at the customers cost and inconvenience and other that of other safe installers also.

The veneer of the safe on the top corner of the door, is in any case chipped and so we shall now be trying our best to return it - at their cost given its weight. Failing this we will need to make a claim under the Consumer Rights Act.

In short, we wish we had never ordered from this company and instead ordered via Amazon or similar which offers much better customer service and protection in instances such as this with sellers using their site.
