Disappointing and very uncomfortable
Purchased a pair of sneakers. Looked comfortable and reviews were good. I wore them on vacation. By the time I got off the plane, I had to take them off. In fact, I took them off in flight. They pushed against my Achilles and were uncomfortable in general. I’ve never experienced this type of pain with a pair of sneakers before. I wear On, Nike, Under Armour, Brooks. I bought a different pair and ditched them. I also bought two pairs of no show socks. Put them on thinking I could salvage something. Took TWO steps and both slid right underneath my heel. Very disappointed and unfortunately won’t try them again.
Hostile customer service
I approached Allbirds with a quality concern with their shoes and their customer service representative was rude, hostile, and suggested that my business was less important because I had bought the original shoes in question on a discount. I have been a longstanding Allbirds customer, and have bought many shoes from them. I approached the customer service team because my shoe was starting to fall apart after a year and a half of wear, which seemed like a very short period of time to me. The initial email responses to me were boiler plate, clearly copy-and-pasted, and offered me a $20 coupon, but were unable to help me in any material way with my shoe. I asked what the warranty was on the shoe, as it is unclear on their website, and it took a while to get a clear answer, but eventually I was informed that they only really look into warranty claims within six months of purchasing a shoe. I find this to be an extremely short amount of time in which they are willing to stand behind their product, and that is reason alone to not purchase from Allbirds.
But in my attempts to get answers from the customer service team, one member sent a quite rude email, in which she wrote that the shoes were purchased during a sale, and were heavily discounted. This heavily implied that my customer service request was not being taken seriously because I bought the original shoes at a discounted price. I noted this in the corresponding emails, and while I was eventually transferred to someone in leadership, they still had absolutely nothing else they could offer me, and seemed uninterested in maintaining my loyalty and business. It was shocking to hear that the business was uninterested in assisting me simply because I used a regular sale on their website to buy them.
Even if you don't need customer service, I wouldn't recommend this product. I liked the shoes initially, but I have two pairs of Allbirds that have begun to fall apart in less than two years. These are not shoes that are made to last, and their six month policy makes that clear.
Awful
I bought two pair of shoes from Allbirds at the end of August, and they took 17 days to arrive. The boxes came totally destroyed — the package went through almost every U.S. state. The shoes themselves arrived somewhat damaged too. I filed complaints several times, and all I got was, “please wait, they’re on the way.” I’m not even going to bother returning them — I don’t have the time or energy. First time I buy from here, and it will absolutely be the last.
I love Allbirds products
I love Allbirds products, but they have taken the stupid budget option of using Evri for their UK delivery partner. I had a last minute message from them to tell me that they couldn't deliver, then nothing for 24 hours. I've raised an incident, and still nothing. This is a premium brand and I expect better. Look elsewhere if you want good service in the UK
They don’t have half sizes - uncomfortable
They don’t have half sizes, and their wool shoes are tight simply because of the wool. Sizing up one whole is too much and your normal size will scrunch your toe. And if you try on the shoe to see if it’s comfortable — you can no longer return it. Really disappointing to spend so much and get something that’s uncomfortable. 😣
Super comfortable shoes that don’t last very long.
Super comfortable shoes, but they don’t last very well. After just 14 months, the fabric broke on my shoes, and the response from the customer service was: “since the shoe is made from sustainable materials, you can’t expect them to last as long as normal shoes”. While I bought the shoes due the their low environmental impact, I don’t find it sustainable to have to purchase new shoes every year. That really defies the purpose.
Repeat customer
I have been buying from allbirds since 2018 and I just LOVE their shoes. I have plantar fascitis and these are some of the only shoes I can wear long-term with no pain. I am so thankful for them, plus they are stylish which is a bonus to me.
New distribution in EU is a disaster
New distribution in Europe means the EU website no longer delivers to Sweden. The Nordics website is now more expensive than the rest of the EU with very limited selection and ZERO customer service. No other region can assist me explaining that I need to reach out to the Nordics help email. They have not responded since July.
Top quality
Got a black Friday deal, half price on some runner-up mizzles. Prompt delivery. The shoes are excellent, snug, warm and dry through the winter and they still look like new.
Don’t trust this business
Returned the product completely unused and in perfect condition. The business received the goods and they still haven’t refunded my money. Don’t trust this business, they have kept the goods and my money! Disgusting!

Hands down the best shoes we've ever owned!
I've now bought several pairs of Allbirds for both myself and my husband, and these are the most comfortable shoes either of us have ever worn. They’re like walking on clouds, supportive and breathable. Perfect for long days on your feet, travel, or just everyday wear.
The customer service is genuinely second to none. Quick replies, helpful team, zero fuss. The brand ticks every box: comfort, quality, sustainability and brilliant service. We’ll definitely be back for more. Five stars all the way!
Great trainers and Customer Service
Website was easy to navigate, price of trainers was reasonable, speedy delivery and great customer service (Thanks Shaira!) given that I had to exchange for a different size and request a refund for the difference in price, trainers exceptionally comfortable, will purchase another pair in future!

There is no Search feature even the collection Column does not show everything on The Website there maybe the shoe you Want And the size as well but with this New Website nothing is clear it’s not Practical Or attractive. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BEFORE GETTING THE SHOES
I have never tried allbirds shoes before. Decided to try a discontinued style first. Ordering online was fairly easy. Shipping is another story. I am on day 12 of waiting on my shoes. Called customer service and they were zero help! In fact, they were rude and arrogant. About what I expected from a California based company. Obviously, I will donate the shoes and never purchase from them again!
