OBTAIN THEIR PERCENTAGE SERVICE FEE FOR EACH ACCOUNT AND YOUR SIGNATURE

First, I was told that Alleviate Financial Solution service fee would be 6% for each acct, so I was grateful, since my big loan was @ 8%. But, come to find out, after a year, their solution is at 27% for "each" account, which I think is being taken right up front, as you are paying along; thinking @ least most of your monthly payments were either going to your creditors or its being saved. No! That is, not with only 200 in my portal. Read on further, regarding paid/unpaid.

Second, after not only when I found time to go into my portal after a year, I have been paying almost 800 dollars a month for the last year; only about 3,114 paid to my creditors with again only 200.00 currently saved in the account of the 800 a month.

Third, also when I asked to show evidence of my signature to enroll into their program for "each" account at 27%, I was told to find the email, and that they can send me their unsigned contract where 27% is stated. Plus, I never received a mailed contract from the very beginning; everything was done by the phone as 6% and not 27%, or I would not have enrolled without a doubt.

Fourth, now they have one of my accounts scheduled to start a 350.00 payment but not until seven months from today. FYI: Keep in mind that I've been on this solution for a year, while they have paid off two creditors for a total of 2550; currently only using about 262.00 of my almost 800, per month, for the next seven months. FYI: This will be another 3500 dollars not being paid against my accounts but to them @ 27%. It's unacceptable.

Currently, I am asking Alleviate to resolve my money from 27% to 6%, as was mentioned to me to obtain me as a client.

Lastly, I had taken out three of my accounts that were not negotiated at all by them. FYI: For these three additional accounts, this creditor probably would have gone for my home equity, since one of the loans was 23,000 too. Plus, I probably would have been looking at almost another eight thousand dollars @ 27% upon settlement to Alleviate.

FYI: Not only has my credit score became wasteful, but I also now need to pay the IRS as a gain for any settlement.

Yes, at the time, I wasn't late on any of my bill payments, but I did become financially concerned, due to my pet Katie needing to go to the ER several times in 2025, so I decided to consolidate with Alleviate, when I received a call from them.

With all this being said, please make sure you know what their service fee percentage will be on "each" of your accounts AND get this percentage for each account in writing before agreeing and/or enrolling with them. Don't be a fool like me by becoming too trustworthy to a pleasant and honest sounding voice on the phone, when you are in need of true help to resolve by consolidating your credit.

FYI: THEY ARE UNACCEPTABLE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE A RECORDING OF AN INITIAL ENROLLMENT CONVERSATION; I WONDER WHY WITHOUT A DOUBT. You can also read further this @ Better Business Bureau.

At Alleviate, our mission is to support clients experiencing financial hardship by negotiating and settling enrolled debts for less than the original balances. With your authorization, our team successfully negotiated and settled eight of the twelve accounts enrolled during your first year in the program. As outlined in your signed agreement, service fees become applicable once a settlement is approved and an initial payment toward that settlement is made, both of which occurred in your case. These terms, along with the negotiation and settlement process, were reviewed during your welcome call following enrollment.

Settlement payments were actively being made, and clients may choose to add additional funds at any time to help accelerate progress. Unfortunately, canceling the program resulted in the voiding of the active settlements. Based on the progress achieved prior to cancellation, we remain confident that additional results could have been achieved had the program remained active. Your signed agreement has consistently been accessible through your client portal and was also provided via email at the time of enrollment. For your convenience, a copy has additionally been mailed to you.

Caring, Concerned Lead …

I was very apprehensive and concerned that I was walking into a scam and would be left destitute homeless and still in debt and unable to pay. The young man, Jose was very thorough. He explained everything completely and assured us we were taking the right steps to a debt-free life.
