This is a fake online business. A lady named Julie Sheldrick is the the owner of the company and she is a con. Read all of the reviews on this company - I lost $1600 on a shelf that was never going to be delivered. If you have made the mistake of ordering, call your credit card provider immediately to raise a chargeback - caveat: after 3 months of the transaction, it is impossible to be refunded.

If i could give zero or minus stars i would!! I gave them £2,750 two years ago and still haven't received my goods. I feel like I have actually been defrauded.

I've shopped here twice and have had a poor customer service experience both times. The items I bought are lovely and I enjoy them (hence the two star review) and the shop stocks many quirky and beautiful items, but the treatment I've been met with in store has been unpleasant and dismissive. I've seen the shop owner replying to other reviews (on other review sites) that something has been going on in their life and that customers should be more understanding, but it's important to remember that it's impossible for others to know your feelings unless you express them. If you're not treating your customers well, it will unfortunately reflect badly on your shop/business and it will get poor reviews.

FRADULENT COMPANY - the owner takes your money and doesnt send the product, saying it is due to be in stock soon - LIES! After over 5 months I'm still awaiting it and have asked for my money back and she has refused. Now reported to trading standards

Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before I placed my order but hopefully you read this and don't bother with these crooks. The lady who runs it, Julie is hopeless and has no intention of sending your order to you. It must be a scheme to keep your money for as long as possible before you reclaim from your credit card company like I will. She tells you how much pressure she is under and how unfair you are, its a load of BULL so she cant deliver on your order and keep your money. AVOID ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!

I don't understand how this fraudulent "company" is allowed to continue to trade. If you make an online purchase be prepared to spend vast amounts of time over many months chasing up a non existent item, then chasing up your refund which you will end up retrieving through your bank's involvement. My bank told me I had fallen for a scam where a company takes your payment but does not fulfill their side of the transaction and obtained my refund several months after my initial payment was made. Be warned - avoid this seasoned operator who has nothing to learn - but I have learned a lot about protecting my finances through my dealings with her and won't make the same mistake again!

Purchased an item that was listed on their website as in stock, with free delivery. Was asked via email to bank transfer $140 extra for delivery so it could be despatched quickly. Julie didn't despatch the item, ghosted and stopped responding to my emails. This is a drop shipping business so I contacted her supplier to get my order reallocated to a trustworthy retailer, who delivered the item (the last one in stock with the supplier) promptly. Julie finally responded with a lie and said she would not cancel the order and that I would have to pay a re stocking fee to return it because she had already sent the item (which as we know, she hadn't, it had already been sitting in my lounge room for days, delivered by the new different retailer). Has again stopped responding to all contact and has not refunded my money. Awful experience with a thief illegally operating under a canceled ABN.

I so wish I had read these other reviews before placing an order for a settee costing £1560 with Allissias Attic. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I awarded one star because I could not post my review without doing so, a minus figure would be more appropriate in my opinion

Before I ordered the settee I was told the item was in stock with delivery 7-10 days. After the purchase it was 10-14 days, then they had no idea when it would be delivered as they never had the stock at the shop and the supplier was not responding to their enquiries.

They offered a cancellation which I accepted.

The refund did not arrive as expected, I chased and was advised it would be 7-10 days as they alleged that they had paid for the settee in advance .

The refund did not arrive, nor did any communication so I had to raise a dispute via my credit card asking them to enforce a claim under section 75 of the Credit Consumer Act if necessary. Today my credit card upheld the dispute & refunded the £1560. I honestly believe that had I paid by cash debit card or bank transfer I would have had to take legal action to recover the amount I paid.

It's been a very stressful few weeks but I now have the settee from another supplier. It cost a little more but worth it for first class customer service. My advice would be to avoid purchasing via Allissias Attic remotely.

No wonder this company doesn't have good reviews. Customer service and demeanour is terrible. Safe to say the customer is not the priority. I waited 5 months after ordering to receive my item and it doesn't work. Then they tried blaming me. I didn't want a refund just a replacement part as I actually liked the clock I bought but it's useless without hands the work. Buy elsewhere! £80 down the drain!

My money has been stolen and they do not take phone calls or answer your emails. If you wish to return anything, they take 30% of your money PLUS postage - illegal, illegal, illegal. Please DO NOT purchase from this company. I am still waiting for the money they have stolen to be returned!

I just wanted to say thank you so very much. Our delivery arrived today and we couldn't be more delighted. Such beautiful, first class quality furniture AND you packed both King Rattan Chairs plus the King Footstool very well, such that when it all arrived in Cairns from Brisbane (1,700kms), everything was very well protected and in perfect condition. We appreciate that very much. Couldn't be happier with our purchases. Thank you.

Shame I can't give 0 stars. I placed an order, after a very brief mail exchange concerning a surcharge for delivery they chose to cancel the order. What the actual? My experience suggests that you shouldn't do business with this organisation if you value your time and would like stuff shipped.

I set up a Dispute for £1200 for non delivery of garden furniture. Had waited 3 months after paying in full and no communication at all apart from confirmation of order and when asked, said delay was due to shipping delays. Eventually cancelled order and bought elsewhere - documentation to prove.
Why would I buy another garden set if I had taken delivery of the one from her!! Ridiculous!
NOW this woman has the cheek to say the furniture was delivered (no delivery note/photos) and said I was fleecing her for free furniture!!!
Please please please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - AS OTHER PURCHASERS WILL VERIFY THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE TRADING.

Dreadful service. The delivery team smashed my marble table then refused to unwrap and check it leaving me to deal with it. Second time it happened too.

Very rude staff. I applied for a job then I got a response to book a slot for an interview. I booked my time then received an email saying I didn’t answer the two most important questions. I asked where I could find the questions (bare in mind I have applied for many jobs so it is hard to keep up with which one is which) and the response I got was ‘read the job description’. I replied ‘ Thank you for the response but I decline to proceed further as I feel your tone is very abrupt and that is not what I am looking for. Many thanks.’ the response I received was ‘ Perhaps read the job description in future Sara - could help you’. How embarrassing and unprofessional. Lucky escape.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid this business. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from them. Only sent half of my order and when I followed up later fabricated that the item was now double the price. Then refused to refund in full with ‘restock and freight deduction’ charge even when I was paying for postage! Never dealt with worse.

I waited and waited for responses to the emails I sent asking for the whereabouts of my item. Then I waited and waited for a full refund. Terrible customer service

Beware - this store is a scam and has been reported to the ActionFraud Division.

I ordered a lamp in May/June when it didn't arrive by August 8 I asked for an update on delivery. As I enquired, they promptly cancelled my order - which I had asked them expressly not to do. When I ask they not do this I was told to reorder putting me back to square 1 (August 8, the day they cancelled the order.) 4 months delay. It's now December 1. They claim to have sent it, I have not received it and they cannot track where it was sent to. 219 GBP and no product.

I checked with the courier company and the tracking number was 'incorrect'. On letting the merchant know, they sent me another tracking number that states the product is pending not delivered. This site goes in and sets up a recurring monthly debit on your account if 25 gbp. Not only happy to take the initial price of the product Allissias Attic has cleverly found a way to continue to extract money from you monthly.
This is clearly a scam and I have alerted the bank, police and ActionFraud.

Horrendous attitude over the phone.
