I was trying to download the Parkonomy…

I was trying to download the Parkonomy parking app as I had no cash to pay. During the downloading process my card details were hijacked and I ended up being told I'd subscribed to Alltainment and that £24.99 would be taken from my account every 32 days. This is authorised push payment fraud - it takes advantage of the urgency to pay for parking due to aggressive signs in car parks about non-payment/fines.

Almost certainly a scam

Almost certainly a scam however, it appears to be some kind of intercept when a QR code reader is used. In my case, it was in a restaurant, where you order online from your table.
I don't know yet if Alltainment have tried to take any money but they certainly captured my email address and a password I created for the ordering app.
They then emailed confirmation that my account was set up and they'd take payment after the 5 day trial ended and then every month thereafter.
I emailed on the address they give and also called where eventually I was instructed to leave my number and they'd call back. Needless to say, I've had no reply.
AVOID, if you can.

I got caught out by this one when…

I got caught out by this one when buying business train tickets with my company credit card. I just thought I had hit a green continue button but this unknowingly took me through to the Alltainment site. It said that I would get 1 month's membership free, so once I realised what had happened I looked at it a few days later to cancel well before the 1 month was up. However, they took the £25 immediately, which has appeared on my company expenses. Today I phoned Alltainment to cancel membership and somebody did actually answer. They confirmed that they were cancelling my membership and sent a confirmation email. However, I don't trust this at all as it doesn't have my name, account number or any detail on it. I have put a block on the card and now have to ask the Finance department to cancel it, which will no doubt delight them. And I owe my employer £25. I'm usually really switched on to this kind of thing and can't believe how easily they were able to trick me.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Using parking apps such as Ringo they capture your card details and charge you £24.99. The card has now been cancelled and I am in the painful process of resetting all my accounts. Damn!

I was scammed by 'a financial advisor'…with links to other scams

I was scammed by 'a financial advisor' Felix Price with isa/investment.info and clicked on a QR code which took my Monzo details. Fortunately I immediately realised that I had been scammed and cancelled my cards and changed all my passwords as I could see there was a transaction of £1 in and out of my card from trrzo, com. This morning at 3am my old Monzo card had an attempted debit of £24.00 from trrzo.com but it has been cancelled so was declined. I checked trzzo.com against my e-mails and discovered that it was this Alltainment that I had apparently signed up to at the exact same time as I accessed the QR code...and when the card was declined I received an e-mail at that exact same time from Alltainment to say that they were sorry to see me go and that `i had cancelled my membership....keep a close on on bank statement at all times ... these scammers are infiltrating everything.

Clever scam, my own fault.

I got scammed while trying to order a drink at Center bar Zurich airport.
I complained loudly when I didn't get my drink.. However, they correctly pointed out that the problem lay in the free QR code scanner app that I downloaded during Covid.
Yes, it was my fault. I remember it said that the app contained ads, but hell it was free. It must be good?....... No!
Apple and Android phones do not need a third party app to scan a QR code. Read the instructions. It works without an app. Made a fool of myself and ended up cancelling my credit card. Lesson learnt.

I was caught out by this website

I was caught out by this website while trying to download a legitimate app to pay for parking. I entered my card details and then received no email or means to download my app. Basically, I ended up having to cancel my debit card - probably an overreaction but there was no means of knowing what I'd entered into. I think Google need to do something about this as the link was the first one that appeared.

It is utterly disgusting/annoying to have Alltainment to piggyback in while I was trying to join another company for membership in an area where I did not have good wifi or internet connnection. After realising that I was wrongly in subscription with Alltainment I needed to take the trouble to cancel the subscription the next day. This experience taught me a lesson about piggybacking on internet.

Who can we trust..?

I had the same experience when I downloaded the Pay by phone parking app. Thought it was because I was in a hurry and felt really stupid that I must have accidentally gone onto a different site but now realise it is nothing I could have done. Tried emailing, had no reply. Tried ringing and they say all their advisers are busy and they will ring you back but when you leave your number they say it’s not recognised and then they disconnect the call. They took and refunded £1 to get the card details onto their system. Have cancelled my credit card now. Who to trust….??

SCAM

As all are saying, this is a scam.
It is a card detail capture scam where they hijack legitimate web sites. You end up entering payment detail thinking you are on the legit site but instead you are on Alltainment.
You end up being charged £24.99 because they do not reply to emails and phone contact is not possible.
Cannot believe I did not spot it at the time and can only put it down to tiredness.

This is authorised push payment fraud - it takes advantage of the urgency to pay for parking due to aggressive signs in car parks about non-payment/fines, plus in my case it was raining and couldn't read messages as didn't have my glasses on. Need to cancel cards to prevent payment from being taken.

This is a TOTAL Scam

This is a TOTAL Scam. Went on to AllTrails to register for a free trial. Their logo is very similar!!! Got a free trial but not with whom I wanted. £2 charged to my credit card. Immediately emailed and told them to cancel and refund £2. This morning £24.99 charged to my credit card. Waste of time calling them "All their agents are busy". Have emailed again and have had to cancel my credit card. Not happy. This should be ZERO Stars.
