I really wanted to be able to recommend AWR as the process of sales and installation went really well, the people I dealt with were lovely and the price was reasonable. As far as I can tell, the work was completed to a high standard and looks very neat. Unfortunately, they are let down severely by their scaffolders (who I understand do work for AWR). They were extremely noisy, used my neighbour's garden without permission, banged the neighbour's window with a scaffold pole and were then rude to her when she challenged them. They broke one of the steps leading down from my back door but didnt let me know this and it was a miracle that I didn't break my ankle when I stepped on it for the first time. After raising this, they did come back and make a half-hearted effort at fixing it but still left it in an unsafe condition that I will now need to fix. They've left debris around the property including on my bay roof, which I will now need to climb up on a long ladder to clear. They also broke a garden ornament which I only found out when I found pieces of it (again, they didnt tell me and just took most of it away). It's a shame for one part of the process to have marred what could have been a positive experience.
EDIT - PCN number provided to AWR.
UPDATE - over a month later, no further contact has been received from AWR so the " we would like the opportunity to make this right" statement in their response doesn't seem to ring true.

All weather roof line are the most wonderful company from sales to completion professional kind caring. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and my quote was £1000 cheaper than anglia windows and they gave me a full choice of glass and doors all at the same price, wonderful five star company would highly recommend.

Window company, excellent from start to finish. Unfortunately scaffolding company not quite as good .... I didn't know they were coming to put it up and came while I was out and took down the scaffolding... again, no idea they were coming....

The company staff who installed the roofing were excellent but what let them down was the lack of communication with the head office as information and updates were non existent throughout the job

Well I ordered top floor bay window and one large back room window and one bathroom window to come with windowsill fitted apart from the bathroom window it was tiled so window sill not needed , they fitted all 5 windows ok then came to the check to see if happy with everything and found they didn’t fit any window sills as stated on the quote, after the phone call they said the sills were never on the quote? I looked at the paper work and it said window sills on the quote but when I rang them they said he had written it in the bottom right hand side box and they didn’t see it ??? I asked if I had paid for them and they said not but I couldn’t prove if I did or not??? So I decided on the day to pay the full amount as I did , I did like the windows so decided to book the ground floor bay window and also to include the sills missed from the last fitting, the day came and Luke fitted the bay window perfectly but they didn’t give him the window sills for the upstairs windows so he rang them and they said they would send some one out priority to fit the missing sills and beading from the bay,in the meantime i ordered a front composite door and side windows, they rang me to say the sills and missed beading would be fitted a week later , then I had the call they couldn’t come for another two weeks, then they rang to say Luke would fit them when he come to fit the front t door 3 weeks later , he came and fitted the door and windows plus he fitted the missing window sills but unfortunately when we did the satisfaction check I found the door window was cracked and the door number 40 he only had the number 4 , he said he’s ordered the replacement glass and they expected full payment I told them I was not prepared to pay the full amount this time so I held back £700 pound but they was not happy I did , 4 days later they came and changed the door glass and I paid the balance in full , but then we still don’t have the door number as one was chrome and one was stainless steel colour, I will be ringing them tomorrow to ask them to send me the chrome number 4 , I will be putting up the results on here , so to sum it all up , I love the window quality and the door quality and I think Luke the lad that did the work was professionally capable and did a fantastic job , unfortunately everything else as put me off recommending or having the last of my 4 windows and patio door doing, I would definitely try and find the same products with a different company.

Very happy with my front door fitters were great haven’t received a certificate yet

Took ages for the door to be fitted from the initial consultation Didn't put any covering down to protect the floor so when they were knocking out the bricks the rubble went straight onto the new vinyl. Also ripped a small hole. Left gaps at the bottom of the doorframe which we've had to
fill ourselves.Would not use this company again.

Decent windows fitted well.
I don’t think our patio door catch or trickle vents are the best.
Was quite a bit of mess to clear up after and you must have payment available as soon as they’ve finished otherwise a right nasty person is put on.
Having said all that negativity AWR have taken it on board and will try to correct.
I am a landlord and would certainly consider using them again. They do consider they give me good value for money.

Good service from start to finish. The sales consultant was transported straight from the 70s/80s with his approach and the call To the boss to get the best price was just about as much humour as I could handle in one day - it was very ‘Alan Partridge’ - needless to say, the price was eventually in line with what I had expected and I signed on the dotted line. I had fascia’s, soffits and gutters done - all looks good and should

From start to finish has been really good. From the sales person knocking on the door, to coming round and going through the options, person on the phone, the surveyor who came round to check what we wanted was possible to the windows and doors been put in has all been fab. In previous years when started looking into having our doors and windows done, not had a good experience and we put it off for a good few years, if anyone has had that experience I would recommend this company

0/10-awful , incapable of being professional and managing complaints. DO NOT USE THIS company

The first man from AWR, David Wilson, I think, was clear polite and instilled confidence. We agreed to have work done on the roof and gave a deposit of over £400. We expected to get a date for the work to be done. After 2 weeks we had no date and we wanted to confirm some details of the work to be done. I tried to ring the rather grumpy incommunicative surveyor who had inspected the property. After several failed attempts I e-mailed the company. A total of 7 communications went unanswered. We began to wonder if we had been scammed by a bogus company. After a month or so we were told that we could not cancel the order and would lose our deposit. We made it clear that we were prepared to accept this loss. Perhaps not surpringly, today, two months after making it clear that we no longer needed their services, the scaffolding company arrived to set up for the work to be done next week. At no point had we been given a date for the work to be done so this seemed to typify the company's dysfunctional internal communications. I wish the company no ill will but until they get their acto together they are best avoided.

Had a quote appointment booked for today, and it lasted less than 5 minutes before the guy was asked to leave.
As I work from home, but was stuck in a meeting I left my wife to look after this quote. She is technically savvy after dealing with the other collection of builders that have given us quotes on a "simple" fascia, Soffit and guttering job.
After asking to come in, the first thing he said to my wife was "We need to speak to your husband".
The reasoning apparently was that it needs to be a joint decision. A joint decision for what? A hard sale? Every other company has not been interested in coming into the house and just wanted to have a look at what the job was, what she wanted and confirming contact details for the quote.
After stating how ridiculous it is that a quote cannot be given to just one member of the household, the salesman just shrugged and saidthat "I dont make the rules" and continued to say that I would be required.
At this point he was asked to leave, and seemed to be annoyed that we had wasted his time.
In the planning of this "quote appointment" never was it mentioned that both of us would be required.
The door-to-door salesman, who knocked yesterday could have mentioned it.
The confirmation phone call confirming our details could have mentioned it.
In this household, we do make joint decisions, but are not going to be subject to a hard sale tactic which this feels like it was going to be.

Reply from All Weather Roofline
I find your sales tactic completely unacceptable. The team came to measure everything, but after several conversations, I encountered a major obstacle. I was informed that you would not provide a quote unless my husband was present. This is utterly ridiculous. As the homeowner, it is outrageous that my request hinges on my husband's availability.
Consequently, we will not be engaging with your company. It is shocking that you still have such outdated policies, which undermine homeowners' ability to make their own decisions about their homes.
