Had been with the "Big" Telecom company for home broadband and landline for many years. Fed up with hefty annual price hikes and no current access to full fibre speeds, I decided to research alternative broadband provision. Once our 24-month contract was close to ending I asked Alncom to initiate a check to see if we could be connected to their full fibre network. Two technicians turned up on the same day and confirmed that connection should be straightforward. I gave Alncom the go ahead straightaway and only a few days later we were connected to their Fibre 200 service and fully up and running, saving money against the previous supplier's contract (and without any mid-contract price hikes) while getting three times the speed. It's worth noting that (in our case) Alncom were able to run their fibre through the existing service ducts, so there was no need to dig up the garden or path and so there was no exterior disruption.
Given that we have lost our Digital Voice service we plan principally to use our mobile phones for calls but also wanted to retain our landline number. I signed up to a VoIP service (independent of Alncom) and arranged for the number to be ported across. This means we can continue to give out our home number to receive calls and also get up to 100 minutes of call credit for a few pounds a month. This approach works perfectly with the Alncom broadband service.
All the Alncom staff we dealt with - from pre-sales to technical to post-sales customer support - have been professional and courteous. The technicians were polite and extremely tidy in their work. Unusually in this day and age, everybody at the company who promised to do something followed through promptly with their actions and kept us updated with the status at every step. Needless to say, we are very happy with our decision to move to Alncom.

Changed to Alncom after having more than a few problems with my last supplier.The installation was done withing 4 days of me getting into contact with them about changing over. The whole job was done within a few hours and outside and inside was cleanly done.Price was half of what I was due to pay. No complaints about anything.

Contract from EE was coming to an end so thought I'd give them a ring as heard good things. So glad Idid! First Class customer service from start to finish. Installed next day, sorted everything with EE, even refunded what was left on my contract. Great communication from actual humans, and local so even better! Would definitely recommend

I've been with Alncom since the cabling was first installed, and they're the best in the business. I have a 925 mb up/down service as I send large files for work, and have never had any issues. My recent botched attempt to install some parental-control features resulted in a loss of router function which was solved quickly on a Friday evening. Customer service is second to none, and responsiveness guaranteed.

After being with BT for many years I didn't realise what good customer service was until I signed up with Alncom. I signed up on the 6th of January and the intallation was done on the 7th, the three technicians were very good and made no mess whatsoever in the house. I was talked through the operation of the new hardware and shown how to work the Nokia app. Quite a contrast from BT where the new router arrived in the post with the bare minimum of instructions provided. Customer care afterwards has been fantastic, I have had several phone calls to Alncom regarding direct debits, etc. and the phone has been answered instantly and the query resolved immediately, not like sitting in a queue for 20 minutes and then not getting your problem sorted like BT. 300mbs broadband and great customer service for less money than I was paying BT for a far inferior product in every respect! I recommend Alncom wholeheartedly!

Alncom kept in touch with us about setting up a Broadband contract with them once we had agreed. They were clear on what we needed to do.
They closed our account with our previous provider and once we had an installation date the process was very seamless.
The guys who came were lovely, very friendly, polite and courteous and knew what they were doing. They answered our questions and left the room tidy. They checked the download speed in all rooms before leaving.
Alncom followed up with us about a week later to check that everything was ok; they have given us all the information we need should we ever need to every contact them with a problem.
All in all - excellent service.

As soon as we lodged a problem with this company we felt like a priority. Their communication with us was excellent and although it wasn't a straight forward problem they were determined to sort it for us and they did. The engineer who came out was both pleasant and extremely helpful. We were delighted with the whole service.

We have been with Alncom for over a year now and have had excellent service. Fortunate enough to have inherited the service when we moved, having fought with the 'major' providers and their level of service. There have been a couple of occasions where we have needed technical assistance (we have a lot of power cuts) and this has been provided quickly and effectively in a friendly manner.

I've been really impressed with Alncom, in particular their responsiveness. Our broadband installation was done by skilled & friendly professionals & went without a hitch. The transfer from our old provider was easy, with Alncom doing the hard work for us. The service has since been as advertised and when we had a minor issue with a bit of kit, we got straight through to a real person who understood and helped things to be resolved rapidly.
Overall, extremely impressed & no hesitation in recommending this as an excellent fibre broadband supplier.

I recently moved to Northumberland and from a National broadband provider who could not supply a service here. I chose Alncom. After a swift connection with exceptional communication, I had some buffering problems at the weekend, I submitted a ticket and the response was exceptional. I recently transferred to Alncom for WiFi after being with BT for years. Not only am I saving £45 per month but the WiFi signal is much stronger and quicker. On top of this there is a number to call regarding any issues (which there haven’t been) and I actually get to speak to a real person! I would not hesitate in recommending Alncom
