Very bad experience

Very bad experience, they use tricks for you to think products are in stock, they are not! They never mention this, just after order they inform you that they need to produce them, and it would take not longer than 21 days, but this is also a lie. They wouldn't answer your email, phone or whatsupp. Never order from this company, if you are really tempted, never pay by card.

Worth the wait, but a bit smaller than expected

+ The print on the hoodies is good quality
+ They are surprisingly comfy (there is a comfy underlining, so it does not feel like a sports uniform)
° It takes a while before they arrive (ordered on 19. 10., arrived on 22. 12.), but they were straightforward about it
- The L-size hoodies are smaller than what one would expect from EU L-size, they feel like M-size. I recommend ordering one size larger if you want L-size

Stay away, scam

Ordered passed more than two months ago. Its not shipped and they refuse to refund it. They don't answer to emails. They think we are creditors giving then money for free. Stay away

Took almost 3 months

I read the reviews shortly after my order so was prepared for the long wait. The customer service were quick to respond and I was happy with the frequency of email updates. I ordered 4 oodies. They are all brilliant, beautiful, very warm and worth what I paid. I would give them five stars but they did take almost 3 months to get to me. They obviously come from China before being shipped by Aloha. Probably would’ve been quicker coming straight from China!

Quality ok, but nothing special.

MADE IN CHINA! Company site claims it is made in EU (Poland).

I would strongly advise against buying from this company.

Response from the support team was quick, although without concrete explanation.

6 weeks+ wait, they refuse to cancel and give me a refund

It's been more than 6 weeks since I placed my order. The only communication I received from the company was 3 weeks ago, informing me that my order is further delayed, but without any concrete delivery date or timeframe.

When I asked to cancel the order because of the absurd waiting time, they said it is already in production, that this process cannot be stopped, and that I can return it once I receive it if I want a refund. Ridiculous.

I sent a complaint to the European Consumer Centres Network.

3 months, still no shipping

My recent experience with AlohaFromDeer has been nothing short of alarming and disappointing. I placed an order on October 9th, and despite the significant delay in shipping, my attempts to cancel the order have been flat-out denied. What's even more concerning is the fact that they are actively deleting comments from customers expressing similar grievances on their social media posts.

The lack of communication and transparency from AlohaFromDeer is already disheartening, but the denial of my cancellation request and the suppression of customer voices on social media is deeply troubling. I reached out to their customer support multiple times, only to receive unhelpful responses and no willingness to facilitate the cancellation.

As a customer, I believe in the right to express my concerns and dissatisfaction openly. However, AlohaFromDeer's apparent censorship of comments on their social media platforms prevents customers like me from sharing our experiences and seeking solidarity. It raises serious questions about the company's commitment to transparency and accountability.

I caution potential customers to think twice before considering AlohaFromDeer for their purchases, especially given my experience and the evident attempts to stifle customer feedback. The combination of unfulfilled orders, denied cancellations, and social media censorship has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the company's practices.

Honestly this is a joke of a company

Honestly this is a joke of a company. Except its not funny. Just like many others I ordered 2 Ooodies in the middle of October. Not a complicated item to sew. I have been ignored for long periods and given false hope from customer service when they finally did respond with a very flippant response saying items are in final stages of the process "sorry for the inconvenience" it's just not good enough. Also Oodie is a trademark that is listed and that is exactly what Aloha advertise their goods as....they are NOT Oodie. So no Christmas presents for Christmas arriving so I shall have to go to the extra expense of sourcing something else with limited time remaining until Christmas day. Please do not use this company. They are awful.

******update as of 9/01/2024******

The items have been showing as being awaiting delivery to Royal mail by Aloha since 28/12. Coincidentally this notification came almost immediately after PayPal had refunded my money, PayPal did this within a couple of hours of filing so that speaks volumes. Items not recieved. Royal mail haven't recieved and I have notified Aloha to not send the items as delivery will be rejected.

I placed an order with Oodie on Christmas day and they arrived a week later.

I shall never use Aloha again EVER!!!

Waiting since mid-November for my order…

Update 1/4/24 - Aloha From Dear has asked for "more information about my experience," according to Trustpilot, or my review may be removed. You've got to be kidding me. There is a mile-long email chain between me and AFD's Customer Service staff regarding their inability to fulfill this order in a timely manner and their refusal to refund my money after multiple attempts. This is now a PayPal claim and that's all the additional information AFD should need.

Waiting since mid-November for my order to ship. Revised timeline for shipping has been vague, and my request last week to cancel my order has, as of this writing, been ignored. Terms say they ship in 21 days or less, and we are now well past 30 at a time when holiday gifts are happening. Did not answer my question about whether they would expedite my order, if it's finished in time for Christmas delivery with faster shipping. The attitude seems to be deal with it, versus what can we do to make it right.

So many similar stories

I have ordered my items 10-10-2023, till now I was informed, that the items take 21 days to make, then 4-6 weeks. Afterwards it was planned to send it out till 06-12-2023, now it's planned to be shipped by 22-12-2023.

Count the weeks if you want. It is pathetic service.
If they don't send it out by the last promised I will canceling the order and getting my money back.

To put it nicely: scammers!

I placed an order in the middle of October and guess what, it's mid of December now and my order has not only not been delivered, it seems like they haven't even started sewing it yet! What a joke! This is a scam of a company that should not be legally allowed to operate. Have they at least started weaving the fabrics, or are they still in the process of figuring out how polyester is made...

Scammers, I heartily do not recommend

Scam. I've been waiting for the order since the beginning of September, and it's already the beginning of December, i.e. 3 months. They keep deceiving me and moving the supposed shipment date. I'm reporting the matter to the police.

Synthetic materialI placed an order for a sweatshirt in…

I placed an order for a sweatshirt in mid September with an estimated 4-6 weeks delivery. I have just received it 11 weeks later. Had a couple of emails delaying delivery but assuring me that my item would be worth the wait. IT WASN'T. Although I can see that it would have taken a bit of extra time to match the all over pattern I really wouldn't have ordered it had I known how cheap and synthetic the material is.
I got the item when it was reduced to £50 (still massively overpriced for what it is) the full price was £100. Shocking!!!
I would return it but after reading other reviews I'm not convinced that I would get a refund.
If they are going to charge that much and take time to match the pattern then at least use quality cotton sweatshirt fabric.
The patterns they offer are unique I admit, but spend your money on getting something that might at least be comfortable to wear and not give you static shocks!!

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.

FINAL update - 26/4/24

I finally have my money back - it is possible guys! If you're in the EU the ECC is an excellent go between, they negotiated for me and it worked really well. Thanks ECC for all your help!

Believe everything you read here.

I didn't check reviews before ordering on the 2nd of november. I read them afterwards but thought it might be okay in the end. It wasn't. They promise 2 weeks production time max, then it turns out you'll have to wait up to 6 weeks. I have requested a refund from the credit card company, I hope they'll comply and I'll get another oodie in time.

Aloha from Deer: just close your webshop now, fulfil the orders you have and re-evaluate your production process.

Update 23/12/2023: The Oodie arrived after 2 months (!). Way too late for 5/12. Unfortunately, my money is now being held hostage as they won't cover the costs of the return. I have sent a complaint to the ECC as someone else in the reviews has done as well. Let's hope they close down this business and refund people's money ASAP.

Update 4/3/24: the saga continues. ECC managed to negotiate a courier with this company. Excellent, I e-mailed the times I would be home (I do not have a flexible schedule as I work at a school and can't take days off willy nilly). That apparently wouldn't work, the courier would come whenever he would damn well please. They gave me the option to return it myself, again. I said: sure, send me the shipping label. Reply: nope, you don't need a shipping label, oh and here's a thing you have to sign that says you pay for shipping yourself. Come. On. Guys. That was the bloody point. I cc'ed the ECC in my reply saying "sure, send the courier, I'll put the sweater in my paper bin and we'll pray he finds it okay."

I am so done with this company. We're going into the 5th month of this absolute torture now but I won't back down until I get my money back.

No warehouse, orders go in production 6 weeks waiting

I was enticed to order a hoodie from this website because it appeared to be in stock. However, after placing my order and reading the glowing reviews, I discovered that the estimated shipping time was a staggering six weeks. This was unacceptable for my needs, so I requested a cancellation. Initially, the company refused, but I turned to PayPal for assistance, and after a few days, I received a full refund.

I'm giving this company a one-star rating because its shipping policy is unclear and it was initially unwilling to issue a refund. It's also concerning that the company does not maintain any inventory and instead produces every order on demand. This practice results in excessively long shipping times, which are unacceptable in 2023...
