Wir sind zwei Freunde, die für ihr Leben gerne guten Tee trinken. Da uns eine gesunde Lebensweise sehr am Herzen liegt und wir trotzdem nicht auf immer neue Geschmackserlebnisse verzichten möchten, haben wir schon vor einigen Jahren die Softdrinks an den Nagel gehangen und uns der Welt des Tees verschrieben. Beim Kauf von Tee hat uns schon immer gestört, dass es diesen im Supermarkt fast ausschließlich in Beutel und kleinen Mengen zu kaufen gibt. Zudem war uns das Produktangebot an losen Tees auch einfach viel zu langweilig. Frei nach dem Motto was uns schmeckt, schmeckt auch anderen haben wir kurzerhand ein Unternehmen gegründet und damit auch eine eigene Tee-Marke ins Leben gerufen: Alpaca Tea.
