Totally inflexible when I asked to change my flight (and transfer) for an urgent family matter. Impersonal customer service that doesn’t care about local and loyal customers living in the Alps!

Great Service
If only everything was this easy!!
We arrived at Geneva, checked in with Alpybus, lovely polite staff, great!
Our driver Paulo was such a nice Gent, helpful, organised and super polite! i feel that he connected with all the passengers.
We arrived at our destination, it was dark and we mistakenly picked up the wrong bag, same colour, style, size etc.
I contacted Alpybus and the bags were swopped the next day at our chalet, by Paulo. We were extremely grateful.
So a huge thank you to Alpybus and Paulo for providing great customer service!!
All good on my recent trip
All good on my recent trip. Takeoff from Geneva was slightly late but as was my plane so fine by me 😃
Pickup in the morning was exactly on time.
Helpful drivers.
Transfer at alpy convenience, not yours!
This transfer was recommended by our travel company, standford ski. Our arrival was 10.30 and we were scheduled on a 12.00 transfer that left late 12.30. Annoying 2 hour wait but acceptable. However our return flight was 5.45pm and were told we would be picked up at 1.00pm, giving us the morning in resort. However the pickup changed to 11.20am and the driver was early, which meant a 5.5 hour wait at Geneva for our flight with snowboards that we couldn't check in for 2.5 hours. If you like waiting around with heavy bags this transfer is for you, otherwise avoid.
Thanks for reply, but even your own T&Cs say 1.5 to 4 hours before departure. We accepted the original 1pm pickup, even though it was very early for our flight. We were the only pickup from megeve, so no-one else needed to be accommodated. Just convenient for your next airport pickup I guess!

Wonderful efficient service and friendly staff
Arrived at Geneva airport a little later than planned due to departure delays, but thankfully had great, quick service at check-in to make my share bus transfer.
The lovely Thanasis Osepidis met me in arrivals on time and helped with my luggage. Very friendly and efficient. Even had the mini bus to myself which was quite a surprise.
Wonderful service all round. Thank you 😊.

First class service with Alpybus on 19/2/23
On 19/2/23We arrived at 2.30 PM at the Alpybus desk in Geneva Airport. We were booked onto a 4.45 PM transfer to Megeve. Booking ref - CEX- 1189964.
We enquired about an earlier transfer which was made available to us by an Alpybus driver, rather than the desk clerk.
The driver named Sakis was extremely helpful ensuring our journey was trouble-free. Without his initiative we would not have been given an earlier transfer.
He dropped us off at our hotel without request.
And also provided useful information about Megeve.
It would be amazing to receive the same level of service on our return journey 24/2/23.

Late pick up and no cancellations allowed
Late pick up, tried to cancel return ticket 3 times and refused to refund us. God forbid you have a change of plans with this company. No flexibility at all.

Avoid at all costs
We paid 1800 euro for a private transfer. Avoid at all costs. They picked us up for the return journey too late and did not allow enough time to get to the airport. Driver was rude, took a half hour break knowing we were pushed for time then dropped us at the wrong terminal. We missed our flight and ended up having to buy 9 new tickets . Also not a luxury transfer at all. Mercedes on the way out but white minivan with no aircon on the return.

Paulo the driver was great and kept us all informed of timings etc. Company a little hard to get hold of if anything needs changing but when you do get them on the phone - they are helpful. I wouldn't bother trying to email them to change anything though!

Awful scheduling of shared transfers
We used alpybus for a skiing trip at the start of February, and it was an absolutely terrible experience, because of the timing of the transfers. We landed at Geneva at 10:20, and their proposed bus was at 14:00. This was sufficiently late that we wouldn't be at the resort until after the lifts had closed, and would therefore have to walk up to our accomodation, which was at the top of the first gondola. We ended up having to arrange alternative transportation.
On the way back, they brought us to Geneva six hours early for a flight at 20:15 so we wasted the best part of a skiing day twidlling our fingers at the airport.
I understand that it's a shared transfer and that things will therefore take more time, but ten hours total is longer than I ever want to spend at Geneva airport. To top it all off, they don't confirm the timing until the evening before, so there's not much to be done when it's as inconvenient as this was.

Avoid at all costs
So this is the first review I have ever left but this company is so bad I wanted to warn others. When booking the transfer from Geneva it states in their T&C's section 7.3 transfers on arrival will be around 1-2 hrs, Not ideal but its a shared transfer so ok, the return transfer they say you will be at the airport between 1.5 hrs and 4 hrs again not great. AlpyBus thought it was acceptable to leave us in the airport in Geneva for 5 hours after our flight had landed and to drop us off 7 hours before it leaves. They will only advise you of these time less than 24 hours before you flight leaves so you are unable to claim any refund back. I did email them prior to leaving the UK that I was not happy with these times and I was canceling this, however the next day I continued to receive calls , emails and text asking where I was and even on my depart day 6 days later more calls , text and emails asking where I was for my return transfer, This company has no customer services at all and obviously no internal communication.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid this company! Our plane was 3 hours late
Our plane was 3 hours late. The rep just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do. They took our money as it was pre booked and forced us to find our own methods to get to the resort- there were no trains. We were forced to take Ubers to the ski resort at £1,800. No result from a follow up email. Bunch of crooks! Avoid at all costs Alpybus.

Took us 2.5 hrs from morzine to Geneva airport via a feeder minibus then a coach- it used to take 1.5 hrs. However we were picked up from the hotel at the specified time. I’m not using again- prefer the old door to door service that they used to offer and other companies still do.

We wait for a late passenger in Geneva airport and Pedro the driver was very nice. He drive cautiously to Chamonix and the road was slippery.

Multiple coaches/buses now used per transfer
We have used Alpybus for several years but never again after this years experience and the changes they have made. They now use feeder transfers to large coaches which means your 'door to door service' is actually via a very long wait somewhere out of town until the larger coach arrives to take you to the airport. The coach taking us from Geneva got lost and we had to wait whilst the driver went and got directions! Took 5 hours from us landing at Geneva to arrive in Morzine. Never again there are better options out there that don't involve all the stress.

Impossible to get in touch with!
Impossible to get in touch with!
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Even though my trip went as scheduled, we’ve tried to communicate with them the day before pickup, and 4 hours before again. The fact they won’t respond by email or phone call adds unnecessary stress to your trip. Our friends went with a different transfer company who picked them up 3 hours before scheduled due to serious traffic. We tried to contact AlpyBus about this matter as we were concerned about catching our flight. Zero as absolute zero customer service.
At least they held schedule but imagine a delay or a change in your flight….

We were travelling from Morzine to Geneva airport, in the very early hours of the morning! We were transported to Montriond (along with another 5minibuses) to await a larger coach! It didn’t show!! And after a 1.15 mins wait we were urgently moved to Taninges for other transport.
There was no information provided on what was happening and everything was tense and not sue everyone made their connection.
Simply message- do not use these guys
