Fraudulent M&A Services by Daniel D Waite aka Alt Equity Partners

Fraudulent M&A Services by Daniel Waite (Alt Equity Partners aka AltCapital)

I am writing this review to warn the business and acquisition community against doing business with Daniel D Waite, who operates under the names Alt Equity Partners and AltCapital (Instagram: @danielwaiteone).

I entered into a buy-side advisory agreement with Daniel to source off-market deals and provide end-to-end transaction support (LOI, diligence, financing). The compensation structure consisted of an upfront fee and a performance-based success fee tied to the size of the deal. Per our signed contract, I was entitled to a no-conditions refund within 6 months if unsatisfied.

Daniel completely failed to deliver. He provided zero off-market deal flow, instead forwarding outdated public listings. His communication was highly unprofessional—including emailing me another client’s confidential data, and going completely radio silent for weeks.

Unsatisfied with the total lack of results, I submitted my formal termination email within 3 months of signing. Daniel acknowledged his failure on multiple occasions via email and text, explicitly admitting he did not live up to his promises and agreeing to a full refund. He signed a legal termination agreement to return my upfront fee.
Since then, he has refused to pay. He has continually strung me along via text, insisting the money is on its way while offering a rotating wheel of deceitful excuses, ranging from needing partner approvals to waiting for his cryptocurrency to liquidate. He is in clear breach of both contracts. I have extensive email and text logs backing up every claim. Do not fall for his pitch.
