Appalling, avoid.
Was advised a time frame so booked day off work. They apparently delivered the window to me and have a customer signature for it. This is NOT true. They did not come anywhere near my property although the proof they used was a picture of a cars windscreen wiper!. I have called the company who did not have an answer for me and after nearly 2 hours waiting still no update. I will be looking at claiming section 75 for a full refund.

We received the bi fold door the day after delivery of our Media sunroom. Our contractor built the sunroom and fitted the Bi Fold door only to find the glass fitting kit was missing. I contacted Aluminium Trade Windows and we received the missing parts 2 days later which now means we have to bring back our contractor and incur additional costs. I sent 2 e mails to Aluminium Trade Windows and didn't acknowledge my request for recompense. Poor show considering the delay and additional costs are down to them.

Very good experience with this company.
Need one made to measure window, easy to order, easy to collect. Great communication throughout. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended will use their service again in future.

Use short lead times to get the order in and then delay after delay. Eventually agreed to cancel the order and issue refund however I have had no refund notification. I have chased via several emails and am not receiving a response. I have tried to phone and it just goes straight to a ‘mailbox full’ message which isn’t very promising. I’m neatly £3000 out of pocket as well as having no doors and having to delay my whole project because of this.
I have seen others have been promised refunds/delivery dates and never received.
This is a scam company. I have now contacted my bank to return the funds and have reported the company to trading standards. DO NOT BUY YOUR WINDOWS AND DOORS FROM THIS COMPANY.

A really polite, friendly bloke. Reversed straight up the long driveway, no messing whereas most delivery drivers take kerbside literally.

I ordered a set of sliding patio doors from Aluminium Trade Windows after specifically checking their advertised lead times before placing my order. Lead times were stated as 2–3 weeks on the product pages and delivery information page, and my order confirmation even gave an estimated delivery window of 27/05/2026 – 05/06/2026.

Before ordering, I contacted their live chat to double-check these times were accurate because arranging installers and other trades depends on reliable delivery dates. I was told:

“It should be within this window if that’s what it’s showing.”

and

“It will be towards the end of the window, however we give you a delivery date around 3 days after the order is placed.”

Based on those assurances, I placed the order.

What followed was extremely disappointing. After placing the order, I received no delivery date and no meaningful updates. I repeatedly had to chase the company for information. Every enquiry was met with vague responses and promises that an update would be provided “soon”.

Only after two weeks of chasing did Aluminium Trade Windows finally admit that there was a material shortage and that they wouldn’t even receive the materials for another three weeks, with a further week required for manufacture and delivery. In reality, what was advertised as a 2–3 week lead time had suddenly become approximately 6 weeks.

Their explanation was that I had originally asked about bifold doors before deciding on sliding doors. However, this doesn’t stand up to scrutiny because both products were advertised with the same lead times on their website, and their own staff explicitly confirmed that the delivery window shown on my order was correct.

The most frustrating part was not the delay itself. Supply chain issues happen. The problem was the lack of transparency and the apparent willingness to continue reassuring me that everything was on track until I repeatedly pushed for a genuine update. Had they been honest from the outset, I could have made an informed decision before spending a significant amount of money.

Eventually, they agreed to cancel the order and issue a refund, although at the time of writing I have not yet received confirmation that the refund has been processed.

When you’re spending thousands of pounds on doors and windows, trust and communication are essential. Unfortunately, my experience with Aluminium Trade Windows was characterised by misleading lead time information, poor communication, and a lack of accountability when those promises proved inaccurate. I provided screen shots of all of this information and the company STILL denied any wrongdoing. No apology for the delay and inconvenience, nothing. All I asked for was transparency on when the order would be due to arrive and they couldn’t even tell me that (until now, 2 weeks after placing the order)

I would rather wait longer with a company that is upfront and honest than give my money to one that tells customers what they want to hear in order to secure an order. I just hope they have actually issued the refund as promised so I can shop with a more trustworthy company…

(And the product page is still showing as a 2-3 week lead time despite them now confirming the delayed materials?)

This company’s responses to negative reviews are consistently defensive, with blame often shifted back onto the customer rather than addressing legitimate concerns.

Despite being told my order was cancelled and refunded several days ago, I have still received no refund confirmation. After speaking with my bank, they confirmed no refund has been processed, leaving me with no choice but to raise a dispute.

The company continues to focus on the fact I mentioned different door types during an initial chat, yet their representative confirmed that the lead times displayed on the website were accurate. Both bifold and sliding doors showed the same lead times and delivery dates, so I reasonably relied on that information. I also checked their lead times page, which specifically referenced aluminium sliding patio doors.

I’ve repeatedly suggested they correct the misleading lead times, but they remain unchanged. Holding onto thousands of pounds for an order advertised with inaccurate delivery information and then failing to promptly issue a refund is unacceptable. I have reported the matter to Trading Standards.

Read the other 1-star reviews and proceed with caution.

Good product at a very competitive price. Quickly and easily made alterations to order when i made a request. Kept me informed on progress and delivery was on time with extremely pleasant and helpful driver. Would have no problem in recommending them to anyone.

On time, polite and efficient.

We had some issues with one of the windows, however it was dealt with in a professional manner with no issue. When they use their own delivery drivers it was an excellent service.

There was a delay in delivery of this by a few weeks. My builder went to their factory to collect it. I've emailed and called to discuss a refund of my delivery fee but I've had no reply.

Poor customer care. Advised some window drain covers were not supplied. Very unhelpful response and high cost. Clearly they do not want to encourage further orders.
