Hoang Dinh, owner of AMA Journeys put together a wonderful 14 day itinerary for us. Hanio, Ninh Binh, Bailey Tu Long Bay, Hoi An, Hue, Saigon and the Mekong Delta.
He listens and tailors the trip to your needs. I can't think of a better experience, it perfectly met all my wishes. Thank you, Hoang!!

Unforgettable Experience with Ama Journey!

We visited Northern Vietnam for the first time in August 2025 and booked a private tour with Ama Journey. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish!

Mr. Hoang, the owner, was incredibly helpful and responsive from the moment I contacted him while still in the Netherlands. When we arrived, our guide Mr. Hoa was already waiting for us at the airport, and Mr. Hoang personally came to our hotel to welcome us with lovely gifts for each member of our family (we’re a family of three) — such a sweet and thoughtful gesture!

Our guide Mr. Hoa and driver Mr. Binh were always punctual, friendly, and professional. The itinerary was well-planned, and every day went smoothly.

We are extremely happy with Ama Journey and highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Vietnam. We’ll definitely book with them again on our next trip!

The short cruise and visit to Ninh Binh were wonderful alternatives and the morning trip down the river to see the "inland Halong Bay" was one of the highlights of our trip.

We thank Hoang Dinh from Ama Journey for his help, his listening and his advice. Thanks to him we were able to obtain a visa quickly following a problem with the one we had. We were able to take the cruise to Cat Ba Bay because he was able to postpone our reservation. Without him we would not have been able to do what was planned. This cruise was superb with fewer people than on Ha Lon Bay.

A wonderful company to travel with.Hoang is a gem of a young man who planned our whole trip immaculately, & flawlessly throughout. He picked up each hotel that catered to needs of elderly people.He made it sure every day that each hotel & staff were looking after us well. in turn each hotel cared for us. Hotel staff reception, house keeping, restaurant staff were always helpful.
Guides-ThachChaney,Sunny, Luong, Virak & Parez were all very nice and did their utmost to take care of us.They would help the ladies to get in & out of the vehicles with great care.
In short this was a very memorable holiday & if health & time permits us & god willing we will do it again.

Hoang planned an amazing experiential 6D/5N Hanoi-Halong-Ninh Binh trip for me and my husband from April 23-28, 2024. He is very responsive, helpful, and friendly to cater to our requests and enquiries. Ama Journey is a professional tour operator and we received superb service from the beginning to the end. We traveled in a private car which was in good condition, driven by Anh, a careful and nice driver. With the extremely hot weather we never ran out of drinking water constantly replenished in the car. Sunny, our tour guide is very experienced and knowledgeable, friendly and speaks good English. The food provided during the various tours were also good. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Thank you, Hoang and team! Well done!

Journey through Vietnam with Amma Journey.
I was in Vietnam with my mom. She planned this trip from A to Z with manager Hoang and it was a blast. Hotels, car trips, domestic plane flights, overnight train rides, sightseeing plane rides and an overnight boat trip. We traveled all of Vietnam in 18 days. From the north through the central part to the south. We had a private car with a driver and a guide. Even if there were any complications, Hoang was always on the phone to help us resolve the situation immediately and for that I thank him very much. We tried a lot of food that was pre-arranged and there was a lot of it and it was very tasty. Vietnam is an amazing country with rich culture, unprecedented history and nature. We would definitely recommend our guides Tommy, Hannah, Lam and Sue. And of course the whole Amma Journey agency.

Today I enjoyed riding around Hanoi to visit the pagoda,temple,train station and many photo spots with Mr.Hoang. It was amazing photos tour in Hanoi.Mr.Hoang khows where is the best spot for photos. Love this tour and strongly recommend Ama Journey for everyone.
