Don't waste your time
Customer support does not exist. They're fine if everything works but as soon as there is an issue you are on your own.
NBN upgrade
NBN upgrade, I have been dealing with customer support for 2 weeks now but Im still receiving the 100 plan signed up for, no 500 upgrade even though my neighbours have it from IInet. Takes them 3 days to respond by email and blame our system when everything is better than their minimum requirement.
If I could give zero stars...
Extremely disappointed with Amaysim and their (lack of) customer service / technical support.
I won't bore readers with the details but suffice to say I have changed providers today.
STAY AWAY “Quick to collect/No Service
STAY AWAY “Quick to collect, then they dump and run”. Registered to move my NBN to their services in 31 days time and were advised in the application that they would advise my current provider, TPG. Plenty of notice given. Amaysim debited my credit card instantly even though the service was still 30 days away. Didn’t advise TPG at all….. TPG charge me one month termination fee due to lack of notice. NBN didn’t work at all - 2 hour to get it up and running. Only service support option was text messages to fix. Get ready to be cut’n’pasted all their incorrect instructions that you have already tried. Amaysim denied any responsibility and keep telling me that our agreement only occurred as of the day of service transfer and not a month ago when they took my money..I signed a contract, paid the money, yet this wasn’t an contract yet.. “Amaysim - amazingly quick to charge deny any service responsibilities”
zero responsibility
zero responsibility. poor customer service. Hung up the phone on me when trying to resolve my issue with their app. Disconnect my sim card due to one unpaid bill. Still trying to resolve the issue not successful so far.
Great value for money
My plan is such great value for the amount I pay. Has been my service provider for coming up 6 years and I couldn’t be happier - constantly have service, easy to top up, and they always give me data as a birthday present, I love Amaysim!!!
Amaysim what a joke they are !!
Amaysim what a joke they are !!! I live on a disability pension and they tried getting my $30 out that they take every 28 days. but I had insufficient funds so I thought I'll go to the bank and put some money in it to pay for my phone plan. but before I could even get to the bank they had cut my phone off !!! Twice this year they had no phone service first time for two days and the second time for three days!!! They did not inform anyone why the phones weren't working!!! What a piece of shit company !!!🖕🖕🖕
Amaysim Network Failure and very bad support
Had been using Amaysim for more than 5 years now... Last week my phone suddenly went NO network with signal strength SOS. My friend had full Optus network at the same location while my mobile with Amaysim reported no network. I did expect Amaysim to mirror Optus as they are linked. Bought a new phone, changed SIM as per customer support and it took amaysim more than 3 weeks to fix the issue. After the fix, my Amaysim data bank was reset to zero and was not compensated for not able to use network for close to 3 weeks. Was told my support that my data would be restored but it seams like I have to make yet another call to fix the issue. Is this the expectation ? Very bad customer support with promises made to return a call with updates which never came. Total waste of time and irresponsible behaviour. Very bad service !!!
They charge you to track a lost sim
I tried to get a esim. The phone said I could but it wouldn't connect. I then asked for a physical sim. 10 days later hadn't arrived. Ask asaysim to chase it up. They charge you to sign up to another group (probably AI as well like their 'experts') to track it. THEY CHARGE YOU TO FIND AN ANSWER TO A QUESTION ABOUT THIER BAD SERVICE!
id rate them a 0 but you cant even do…

The worst telco in Australia
Fake offers, dreadful internet connection and yet somehow even worse service. Would never ever recommend
Tried to Activate sim
Tried to Activate sim. What a pain in the rear. Spent quite some time on the phone with their team. On the third try, eventually I was told to take it back to the shop and have it scanned properly and of course the shop had no idea what they are supposed to do. Also I can not get into the app as it says my details are incorrect. An absolute Rip OFF
Worse than vodafone
I was vith Vaya who were great. They got taken ove by amaysim who are crap. I constanly have no internet connection on my phone. Finally got rid of them today.
Amaysim Reneges on Agreement
About 5 yrs ago I entered into an agreement with Amaysim for 200gb every 28 days for $40. This agreement was for life while payment was continuously made. It was promoted to me as a one off offer and I saw it as a great deal and went for it. Now they are telling me they are reviewing old plans no longer on the market (it was a one off) and they are going to strip it back to 100gb. This was not our agreement and I'm fuming. They are avoiding and ignoring my pleas for contact. A team leader was to contact but I've heard nothing. It was a deal only taken by those who saw it's value and now they are reneging. This is very poor business practice.
Couldn't cancel my sim card
Couldn't cancel my sim card. I spent hours speaking to them over chat and did everything they could do to make it impossible to cancel. Verifications, questions about travel plans, everything but cancel the account. Absolutely ridiculous. I am almost certain this is against consumer law.
stay away from this s*it provider
I used to be with Circles Life until they got bought out by Amaysim. Since yesterday, I haven’t been able to make calls or send texts because it keeps saying I have “insufficient credit.” I tried topping up so many times, but failed. it was super frustrating, especially since I had someone important to call. The whole day was just stressful and annoying. Honestly, their service is trash. I ended up switching providers that night. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
This is the worst phone company.
This is the worst phone company I have dealt with in my life and I am 71 yrs old. Their help desk is so hard to get hold of and then the people (Philippines) dont know what they are talking about, totally useless and time consuming. Also coverage is total sh.t. Never again no matter what.
Total waste of time.
I spent 40 mins on the live chat trying to verify my identity when I arrived in Australia. They told me it would take 1-3 working days (I arrived on sat) to manually verify my passport despite the person I was speaking to having the email infront of them. I had to buy a sim in the end and the man at Vodafone said they can’t legally sell esims as they can’t verify your identity with a foreign passport. Massive waste of time. They are hopefully processing my refund. If you don’t have an aus or kiwi passport don’t get it. It won’t work.
