At first I was happy with my jeans, good fit and comfortable on big belly. However today I put it on and noticed several holes in the inner thigh. Bought it in November, was wearing it for 6 months - haven’t had it on since the weather turned warm.. very disappointing for a £75 jeans.

The best pair of denim shorts I have ever bought! If your questioning whether the stretch is enough? IT IS!!! So so comfortable and flattering! And wash fantastically

Truly OBSESSED. I’ve needed Ambela all my life. I’ve avoided denim for so long as every pair of jeans and shorts are so uncomfortable and hurt my stomach. I no longer have to worry!! I now own 1 pair of jeans and 2 pairs of shorts- can’t wait to buy more.

website was easy to navigate, as were reviews which some companies try and hide! i sized down compared to normal denim as these have some stretch and fit lovely! im only a few months post partum and for the first time i can wear normal jeans without feeling like im being cut in half or like rectangle denim bin bag because i haven’t had to size up just for my tummy ! im also 5’8 and the regular fits dead on! which means their tall will actually be suitable for tall people. usually i have to buy in the tall section and even those don’t always fit

I’ve been looking at this brand for ages, but was unsure about spending so much. I’ve not worn shorts for about 10 years, but decided to try them. The order and delivery were really smooth and super quick! Ordered on the Friday night, received them Monday morning. When I say I did a happy dance when I tried them on, I’m not exaggerating! The fit is incredible, the stretch is amazing, they are so comfortable. I am going to buy the skirt and a pair of jeans too.

Bought the shorts and the skort. They are stretchy material but not as stretchy in the waistband as what is shown in all the videos when Carys or models wear them. I ordered a 12 and a 14 and theres no difference in either size really. The skort is nice but the shorts underneath are poor material and ride up your legs so can sometimes feel uncomfortable under the skirt. Don't think I'd buy the skort again.

For ages did i want to buy these shorts, but kept putting it off as they were so expensive, so on payday I just brought a pair and omg they are so comfortable! They fit perfectly, not tight around the legs not digging in anywhere!!

The shorts are exactly as you’d imagine. The most comfy, stretchy and best fitting item I’ve ever owned. So comfortable I use them for just chilling too which I would never have done with denim in the past.

I was skeptical paying £60 for a pair of shorts however they were so worth it I bought another pair.

I came across ambela via Facebook,I've loved watching Cary's giving honest reviews, I've also been putting off for ages to buy her shirts as honestly I was sceptical at first as all the other brands I've worn were never really comfy and I didn't feel great in them,but Wow I'm gobsmacked,not only do they make me feel great,I feel amazing,more confident in a pair of shorts than I have been in years,and yes they do exactly what they say on the tin! They move with you and are so bliming comfy you can wear all day xx

Was really struggling to get a comfortable pair of shorts for my holiday, becoming more and more frustrated.

I love that this brand has real bodies in mind and being able to get an extra short is amazing. The Quality of product is great! I am slowly building my collection so I have every shape and colour. I love the idea of the shorts and skirt but think they might be a little too short for me. Fingers crossed they bring out another length 🤞

I came across Ambela on social media and I’m so glad that I did. A pair of denim shorts in a good quality material, that fit in a flattering way, stretch that doesn’t pull, and actually comfortable to sit in!

I’m a mid-size 12-14 so ordered a 12 and a 14 to try - in other denim I’m usually a 14 because there’s little give. The 12 in these was actually a perfect fit without being tight in the waist and even with more room! I only opted to keep the 14 because I prefer a loser feel on my legs and the adjustable strap at the back means there’s no gaping in the waist.

In my opinion, they’re worth the price point I’ve seen questions about. And come autumn I’ll be investing in a pair of jeans.

Denim shorts are something I’ve always struggled with. I’m usually a size 12/14 petite girl. When it comes to buying regular denim shorts I’m at least a uk16. Ambela’s material is amazing. It makes sense why they’re slightly on the pricey side. I got these in a 14 but I’d of easily fit in the 12!

Super comfy stretchy denim shorts that don't ride up awkwardly or dig in! The dream. I'm 5ft 10 and a 16/18 and was surprised they're such a good length on my thighs. I went for the size 18 because of my c-section tum and they're perfect. Wore to a festival during the hottest week of the year with a big baggy tee and they were the best thing ever! Decent pockets too. Got them 10 days ago and have barely worn anything else. Thanks, Ambela!

I’ve found the jeans I’ve longed for for many years
Being little in height (5ft 2) I’ve never been able to buy a pair of trousers off the shelf without having To get them altered but now I have and love them
