Do not use this company!!

Do not use this company. Like many others I only received part of my order. I was missing the other two items. They do not reply to any emails and clearly know what they are doing. Can’t believe the company hasn’t been shut down with the amount of people they look to be doing this too.

This company are scammers

This company are scammers. I had not had anything delivered 2
Weeks later despite it saying next day delivery on website. I have emailed the helpdesk numerous times and no response. I am just trying to get my money back and no response. The website needs to be taken down as this is a scam! I am reporting them

PLEASE EVERYONE COMPLAIN TO TRADING STANDARDS!

This is in addition to an earlier review I made - American Candy seem to have removed their phone number from their website, and they've not replied to my email proving clearly that they've not given the service they acknowledged that I paid for.

Wish I’d read these reviews before I ordered from them. Placed my order over a week before the Super Bowl for a Super Bowl party I was throwing. Less than half of my order arrived 2 days after the Super Bowl - a ridiculous amount of time. 2 weeks later I am still awaiting the remainder of my order. I have chased them multiple times and received just 1 response, that was when the initial part of the order was delivered and at this point they told me my order would be delivered in 2 parts. This was not communicated to me in advance and nor was I informed of any delays. Since then the “company” has failed to reply to any of my emails. They’ve just taken my money.

STAY AWAY from American Candy Co.

I've ordered from American Candy Co twice. At the time of my first order I hadn't checked reviews but that went well enough. The main issue then was the length of time taken to ship but I assumed that was due to an early December rush. One item was not received and they issued a refund immediately.

When I was about to place my second order, I noticed all of the negative reviews but proceeded given that the first experience wasn't overly bad. That proved to be a massive mistake on my part. It is now clear that their entire operation has deteriorated. I had to follow up on my order twice and finally received a month after ordering, with half of the items missing. They did not respond to my emails following up on refund and when I was able to reach them by phone almost 2 weeks ago, I was told that 'Accounts had processed my refund' which was a clear lie.

I submitted a claim to my credit card company and have this morning received my refund from their prompt action.

It appears that there are persons still purchasing from this company despite consistent negative reviews. If you insist on giving yourself the headache anyway, my advice is to use a credit not debit card for any purchase, keep a clear email trail and do not discard your delivery note. You will need these for a successful and prompt claim.

I don't know how these scammers are still in business. Really wish I had read reviews beforehand. Didn't send me everything I ordered and blatantly ignore all emails regarding it.

Would use again

I saw alot of negative reviews on here, so I was apprehensive about ordering but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I made an order and was given a tracking number and the item arrived on time without any issue.

Awful service only delivered half my order

Awful service. I ordered 2 crates of root beer after 2 weeks one crate arrived, no reason as to why or when I would receive the other one. Tried reaching out to the company but get np response, still no sign of the other half of my deliver or a refund, avoid this company at all costs.

Order was late and incomplete

Order was incredibly late to be shipped and no response to emails requesting an update on delivery expectations. When the order finally did arrive multiple items missing. Again, no response to emails when issue was raised.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company! I wish I’d checked the reviews before giving them my money. My order never arrived, I’ve sent multiple emails to customer services and have not received any response. Their phone number doesn’t work either! So frustrated and angry, avoid avoid avoid!

Avoid! Spend your money elsewhere.

Awful company. Ignore multiple emails when trying to chase your order - same day despatch? What a joke!! IF you do get your order, it won't be complete and have things will be missing. Good luck chasing that up too. They don't answer their phone, and again, won't reply to an email. Please just avoid, take your money elsewhere .

Ordered some confectionery on 8th…

Ordered some confectionery on 8th December for a Christmas gift. Said item had been dispatched but no further tracking information available other than still saying it is en route! Have contacted customer services for a response on numerous occasions and had no reply. DO NOT USE this company! Very disappointing.

Waited on my parcel for three weeks Contacted them to receive a generic response about lots of orders over Christmas blah ,blah
Clearpay were no use whatsoever even after I told them I had not received my parcel and showed them the email
Do not know how this company is trading blatantly stealing from people
Gave them one star as couldn't give Zero

Order if you want half of your order, 2 months late

Like most of the other reviews, ordered from site, took ages, delivery window long passed, a box finally showed up that was far too small for my order. Of course, only half of it was included.
The product was also French, not American, and smashed to bits.
Absolutely no communication nor resolution offered from this "company". Am pursuing a refund via other means.
