I have this connected to a streaming box in my bedroom and a pair of Q Acoustics 2020i speakers and it looks great, takes up a miniscule amount of space, and sounds absolutely lovely!

Many times better than the bluetooth speakers, speaker "dock" systems, and other alternatives I've tried over the years.

Product looks and sounds great. I will be buying another for elsewhere in my house.

I got recommended this amp by an audiophile friend. I connected it with a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 2s and mostly run it through my TV or Google Chromecast Audio.

Chromecast Audio: this is an ideal pairing. It handles inputs from both Tunein Radio and Spotify on both Android and iOS with no problems at all. The output volume of the amp in this regard is more than suitable. Make sure the HQ setting is enabled on Chromecast for this as there is a big difference.

TV Sound: I paired it with a 2012 37" high spec Panasonic TV using the 3.5mm headphone jack. Sound quality reproduction is great - very little lost in translation. The sound is sometimes a little soft and so the amp needs to be jacked up to maximum. I'm not sure whether this is because the output of the TV is so weak or because of the amp. I don't have this problem with any other source (e.g. Chromecast above or direct from my iPhone) so assume it's the TV.

Areas to improve on: a remote control would be good to adjust the volume. Also, the amplifier could do with a bit more power so that it can aptly handle situations such as the TV above.

Overall: Given the price point of the amp, it's a no brainer to test out. It's ideal for a pair of speakers in a home office where you don't need all the features of a high spec amp and just want to focus on quality audio output. Highly recommended.

Clearly a lot of care and attention has gone into the design and finish of the Amptastic products.

The output of the amp is amazing considering both its diminutive size and price point. Running it in back to back tests through some B&W 602s vs my Musical Fidelity X-A2 showed it can more than hold its own against some far bigger weapons.

I've owned a Mini-1 for several years now and it's a fantastic product - brilliant sound with a beautiful minimalist design that looks and feels a premium product.

It was incredibly easy to set the amp up with my Wharfdale speakers in my living room, and its compact, sleek design size means I am able to have it on display as a feature in the room.

Ordering from Amptastic was easy, no fuss. Follow up service from Chris was top notch.

I'd recommend this product and company to anyone!

I've had a Mini-1 paired with some Mordaunt Short 902is as my main hifi for a while now - it sounds great and haven't had any problems with it.

If you are looking for high quality audio and space is at a premium then this device is perfect. I couldn't believe how much of a fantastic audio experience I got from such as small device! Connectivity is simple and straightforward and the device feels like its well made. It looks fantastic too and sits pride of place within any audio set up.

As for Amptastic themselves - ordering was straightforward, painless and delivery was responsive.
