They are thieves and scammers

They are thieves and scammers. Do not use them under any circumstances.

I purchased tickets for the Rembrandt museum because they appeared to be at a discount. When the ticket arrived, it was a child's ticket and an audio guide was included, but I had not selected an audio guide. I received an email which said, sorry it appears that you have been given a child's ticket, you can pay the difference, thus returning the ticket to full price. I wasn't interested in going at full price being as it was already for the only available slot, 45 minutes at the end of the day, so I said, please just refund my money. I received a refund for the ticket but not the audio guide, as it is a separate product and can be used regardless of whether you enter the museum or not? WTF? Who would want to do that? Particularly one who had not selected the audio guide at the time of purchase. I now believe that the entire process was intentional and they merely use this strategy to sell overpriced tickets and useless products. It is fraud and theft, quite simply. There does not seem to be any real mechanism for reporting this in the Netherlands and upon investigation it appears that the company is registered in Spain, anyway, so basically, there is no recourse and it stands to reason that what I have described is actually their business model. They either con you into buying an overpriced ticket or sell an unwanted product to you by misleading you- either way, it's money for nothing for these thieves. They must be making a good profit because they can afford to come up as one of the first results on google. Please never ever buy anything from this company.

I strongly advise travelers to avoid this company

I strongly advise travelers to avoid this company.

I purchased two tickets for the Van Gogh Museum through Amsterdam Tickets. Only after completing the purchase did I realize that this was not the museum’s official website. The tickets were also significantly more expensive than those available through the official museum channel.

After realizing this, I immediately contacted the company and requested cancellation. My request was denied, and I was informed that the tickets had already been issued and were valid for entry.

Before my visit, I contacted the company again and was reassured that the tickets were valid and could be used without any issue.

However, when we arrived at the Van Gogh Museum on the scheduled date and time, our tickets did not work. Museum staff called a supervisor to investigate, and the museum’s system showed the reservation status as “Geannuleerd” (Cancelled), with 0 active tickets and 2 cancelled tickets. As a result, we were refused entry and had to purchase new tickets directly from the museum in order to visit.

I provided Amsterdam Tickets with photographic evidence from the museum’s system, copies of the replacement tickets, and proof of payment. Despite this, the company refused to issue a refund and failed to provide any explanation as to why the museum’s own system showed the tickets as cancelled.

The most concerning aspect of this experience was not only being denied entry, but also the company’s inability or unwillingness to explain why tickets sold as valid were displayed as cancelled by the museum itself.

Travelers should be aware that this is not the official Van Gogh Museum website and that ticket prices may be substantially higher than those charged through the museum’s official sales channels.

This experience caused unnecessary stress, additional expense, and significant disruption to our trip. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Scam-like: Amsterdamtickets.org

You pay more for nothing!

I paid €75 for a Heineken Tour ticket that actually costs €49.90 (this came on the ticket receipt). They simply bought it on my behalf and kept a €26 markup - no added value, no benefit, nothing.

Tickets weren’t even issued immediately (because they go to Heineken website to purchase it) and customer service replies feel AI-generated. they clearly don’t read or care about what you write to them.

In fact, I later realized I could have purchased a better package (Heineken Tour + Rooftop) for less money directly through official channels.

Don't waste your money and book directly from official providers.

Scam

I’ve purchased tickets for a certain experience. They said the chosen time slot isn’t available, so I adjusted it on their website. In return they send me tickets for the wrong date and time; I couldn’t refund them, because the refund is supposed to take place 24 hours before the visit, but they didn’t even give me that time. Please don’t buy tickets here. It’s more expensive than original prices and not worth your time
