Utter waste of time

Utter waste of time. They expect customers to understand the inward workings of the company. They have some very very awkward women working for them who would probably be better working at a nail bar and god knows what there criteria are as ive had no problems leasing Ferraris and land rovers in the past but couldn't get a golf from these clowns Probably because i swore at one of the female employees because i didn't understand how they ran the company lol Better cheaper options out there a lot more professional and with less stress

Biggest regret ever. I want my money back

I'm so gutted I wish I read the reviews earlier.
Dealing with this company has been HELL. They don't know customer service even if it hit them in the face. They will REFUSE to read and reply to your messages. I've had to deal with 4 different members of staff and they're all just as bad as each other. Message after message after email has been constantly ignored.
They sold me a faulty vehicle, and as another person on here mentioned, they will blame YOU for it. I have also tried to chase up with their complaints department and have received zero correspondence. I don't know who else to turn to at this point.
No matter how tempting or how much they try pressure or sell themselves to you highly, PLEASE stay away. Biggest regret ever. I'm still yet to receive my car after handing it back to them for 'inspection' and it's been a whole entire MONTH. Disgusting, appalling, JOKE of a company. Yet still expected to pay for the monthly instalments. And I'm currently car-less. l don’t know how they're still running, they should be shut down.

Beyond bad experience

Beyond bad experience.

From the start to finish it’s been a nightmare and one I’m very very happy to be out of.

At first AMT wouldn’t leave me alone and were very quick to take money off me. Feeling pressured but also happy that they had the car I wanted so went along with it.

Fast forward 3 months and coming up to the up supposed delivery date, I had zero communication from the CS team so I chased to find out car was not going to be ready and could be anytime in sep.

To find a quick solution I was offered a slightly better model at a higher expense would was in stock. Again AMT we’re super quick to make sure I signed the papers ( seems to be the only goal ).

Following that I had zero communication again and when I chased I got a snooty email back.

Disgraceful company, wouldn’t touch these with a barge pole and has put me off leasing again.

Not to mention it’s cost £ 600 to get out of the agreement. ( worthy price to pay to not have to deal these cowboys ).

Regrettably I did not take the time to…

Regrettably I did not take the time to read these Trustpilot reviews before engaging with this company, so hopefully this will help those considering choosing to utilise this business for their next lease vehicle.

Unfortunately, this has been amongst my poorest experiences using a lease broker in the last 15 years and it is now clear that a common thread amongst the respective reviews in that the vehicles advertised for lease are not actually available, even upon agreeing and entering into the respective agreements and paperwork.

My experience in having ordered and waited 7 months for a definitive delivery date from my initial lease broker I was drawn to AMT’s indication that they had the vehicle in stock for delivery in March 2023. Upon enquiry they offered me 3 colour choices where I elected for metallic black which attract a small higher adjustment in the contract rate. This was agreed and respective paperwork completed with a delivery being pushed for before the end of March 2023.

In having completed the respective paperwork and having had everything I agreed I informed my initial leas broker that I was cancelling the order as we still did not have a delivery date.

You can imagine my surprise in having chased AMT for the delivery date some 2 weeks later that the black vehicles had been sold and that their leasing company Leasys had “cocked up” in that they had realised said vehicle to several brokers and their own sales team and that these vehicles were never seemingly available to AMT even when I had agreed to the contract for this vehicle in this colour.

I was then offered an alternative as the grey version which I was assured was available and could be delivered forthwith was available, grudgingly I had to accept this alternative as my existing vehicle was being returned within 2 weeks. I asked for confirmation that this vehicle was now “locked in” and was available for delivery which I was assured was the case and that delivery would be made shortly.

However, having chased for a delivery date on a couple of occasions I was informed by the customer service team of AMT that they were having problems getting a delivery date from the delivery company as the delivery company were busy. After chasing this for 2 weeks I received an email from the sales adviser that I had been dealing with informing that the grey vehicles had gone and once again they placed the blame on the leasing company, now offering a blue alternative which I had indicated I didn’t want from the outset.

No reason was given for the fact that I was told that this vehicle was assured for delivery post the error the first time around. Whichever way you view this these vehicles were never available for delivery through AMT. I have now been compromised in terms of my initial order in having believed that we had agreed terms and conditions and that the agreed vehicle from the outset was available for delivery, which is not the case.

I would be cautious before placing an order with them, although they have been pleasant in their responses, however they were ultimately unable to provide the ordered vehicle.

Unpleasant Experience, Changing Prices, Rookie Salesman, Messy Management

Unpleasant experience!

After trying to purchase a supra off these guys, they were messing about with the prices, trying the cowboy approach of pressuring the customer with saying "Oh the price will go up soon", literally trying to squeeze every penny possible out of customers. As well as using scare/pushy sale tactics to try and get the customer to jump the gun.

Different deal prices from different employees, was offered a car at a slightly discounted price, after some negotiation I decided to accept that price anyway and then they changed there mind on the sale after being given to a different employee after the one I was speaking with went on Annual Leave.

Obviously this is their car to sell and of course they can do this, but not a great customer experience and appears to be trying to just take advantage of customers when they are interested in cars.

Think your experience will highly depend on who you speak too, I spoke with two people: Adam was very helpful and seemed very customer focused. The Second guy James not very helpful.

Also I'm not sure if its a sales tactic but after everything they say they got to check with their manager and make you wait, sometimes hours, feels like again trying to pressure the customer slightly.

Be careful

Phoned up and secured a car I wanted to buy on Saturday the 12th of June. Apparently there card machine wasn’t working so said they would hold the car and sort out the deposit Monday morning. On Monday they didn’t phone so I rang them to be told the car has gone up £1,000 in price. Very poor service from them.

Amazing

This was our first experience of leasing.I wanted a certain car,model and colour , plus it had to be in stock.Most Audi's are well into next year for delivery.
Rob managed to get me the car, model and colour with a higher spec for my budget.He was there every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble Maisie and Leanne from customer service could not do enough and all the staff are so pleasant and helpful. Thank you all I cannot fault you

Avoid this Company at all costs or you are in for a Torrid time!

Do not use this company even if they are the last leasing company on the planet. They advertise bogus deals on cars and don't follow through with their promises to fulfil the order. They kept me waiting 12 months for my car saying they were waiting for build allocation, only to be told that the car won't now be built!!!! Absolute joke of a company and a bunch of lying conmen who try and get customers through the door by advertising deals that don/t exist.

Amazing!

First time i've ever leased a car and can say i will certainly use AMT again! From start to finish they got me the best deal and were extremely helpful - with it being my first lease i had a lot of questions but the team did their best to keep me updated. The delivery of the vehicle was exactly as expected and the delivery guy was nice and polite too.
Very Happy!

Simply the best

Great company who have supplied me with high end vehicles for highly competitive prices over 3 years.

They were supportive when I had a business issue causing a delay my end and were amazing supporting me and my company

Lucia , Ollie and Russel Thanks guys and I’ll be back in September for a new car and then again in December to replace the merc.

DO NOT USE even if arranged through a car dealership courtesy car system.
Appalling company!
They hire out damaged cars in poor condition and then accuse you of doing the damage so that they can claim your security deposit (which offsets their low hire charge).
Poor rude customer service who make false claims to all parties involved!

Do NOT use this company …

Do NOT use this company amtvehiclerental. com.

They delivered a car with no communication and was the incorrect vehicle.

I was advised they would swap it but after making loads of calls and hearing nothing back, left the vehicle parked up.

Frustrated we requested they collected the car in which they arrived unannounced, no calls or emails, terrible.

They stated that half a tank of fuel was used and we would be charged for this usage.

I pointed out that the car had not moved and was still on the same mileage as when delivered.

They did not believe it until I found my original paperwork with the exact mileage written on.

Armed with this information they asked if I had left the engine running whilst it was parked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely amateur behaviour and be aware of the fuel scam
