AMT Services Group was born out of hard work, determination, and family. Back in 2016, when Chris and Lauren found out they were expecting their first child and facing financial challenges, they knew they needed to make a change. With Chris working a full time job, they decided to start CJD Services as a side business, with Lauren working tirelessly to bring in clients through local networks. Their daughter Amelia was born in 2016, and while juggling a newborn and a new business was tough, they powered through, Chris on the tools and Lauren managing the bookings.
Thanks to word of mouth recommendations, the work started flowing in, and Chris secured his first corporate client for home emergency repairs. This breakthrough marked a turning point for the business. In 2017, with the arrival of their second daughter, Mya, they realised it was time to expand. They began hiring staff to balance family life and growing client demand. By 2021, CJD Services Group was incorporated as a limited company, and their third child, Theo, was welcomed into the family. By this point, the company was thriving, covering the whole North West of England with a solid team handling everything from home emergency repairs to full refurbishments, including kitchen and bathroom installations, as well as decorating projects.
As the business flourished, Chris and Lauren saw an opportunity to expand further, moving into the commercial sector in 2022. With the business growing and their family complete, they rebranded to AMT, named after their three children: Amelia, Mya, and Theo. Today, AMT Services Group are a leading facilities management, Building Intelligence and Real Easte company, serving a wide range of sectors, including Care, Education, Hospitality, Residential, BTR, and Retail.
What began as a humble side hustle has grown into a trusted partner for both residential and commercial clients. With a strong focus on quality, reliability, and customer service, AMT Services Group continues to deliver exceptional results, backed by a hardworking team and a passion for helping others.

First 3 appointments they never turned up just cancelled the job, 4th visit was area supervisor or something.
He was friendly and apologised for the missed visits. Had a look at the problem and said as he had jumped on the job after the 3rd failed visit he didn't have the tools but would report back and put a request in that needed a "snake" to help clear the blockage.
Another 9 days later a 5th visit has just happened where the person that has been sent took one quick look and said I don't know why they've sent me you need a drainage engineer. Annoyed is an understatement. Unsure if latest visit is the fault of the insurance company or not but all told not a great experience to date.
Danny came to my home to fix a plumbing issue we had. He was a really professional, considerate and friendly tradesman. Got his job done efficiently clean and tidy. An excellent member of the team to deal with clients, an asset to your company.

Chris, from AMT, did an emergency call out visit to our house when a leak was discovered. He quickly localised it to the upstairs toilet and did a fix so we could switch the house water supply back on. Other AMT specialists came a couple of days later, with the required spares and fixed the leak completely. Thanks AMT, everything was done very professionally.

Highly recommend AMT they have worked on various projects for me over the years including reactive call outs, they did one a few weeks ago a client called me at 8pm on a Saturday Night to say their shop window had been smashed and needed urgent call out. AMT where on site within the Hour Making the the Shop safe and secure.
AMT came out to fix an emergency plumbing problem and found the fault immediately. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris should you need an emergency fix, he is helpful and knowledgable.

Excellent service from AMT at our property. After emergency with one of our water pipes bursting they came out promptly, not only did they fix the pipe but also helped repair the water damage. Excellent communication, professional company. Thanks for your services! Would highly recommend to anyone.
