We used Anderson Bain for the first time recently to update our Wills and set up a Power of Attorney for my husband and myself. A very approachable Solicitor, Cara Seivwright, contacted us in response to our online enquiry. She was very patient and answered endless questions we fired at her. She gave us time to digest all the legal ins and outs of the procedure and although we had been warned by people that solicitors are slow to respond to such enquiries, the whole process was speedily dealt with.
When we met her at the offices of Anderson Bain in Aberdeen she warned us that the Power of Attorney could take at least a year to be registered. She would, however, mention a chronic health condition suffered by my husband. Amazingly one week later she contacted us to say that she had been notified that the Power of Attorney had now been registered! Our new wills had already been e mailed to us.

Well done Cara! We will certainly be coming back to you should we need any further legal advice.

Having dealt with mark, he very much helped every step of the way and moved very fast. Starting and finishing a house move in 6 week deadline was stressful especially with hiccups and mark made me feel heard, informed and at ease. Comparing to the sellers solicitors which seemed like pulling teeth, our solicitor was a dream.

Tried to sell my house with Anderson Bain. Initially started off great, got a visit and valuation arranged. Photographer came.
Then the guy doing the valuation rocked up, said he had no clue what it would be worth and then produced a number based off "whatever is on ASPC". The unprofessionalism of the guy recommended by Anderson Bain was staggering. The Property Manager I was dealing with seemed to be out of the office a lot when I was trying to sell the house which was unfortunate. I spoke to Anderson Bain about the unprofessionalism of the guy and the Partner in charge of the property team said they would get back to me early next week. That was the 18th of June. Still no response.

I wanted to write a review to thank Mark Millar at Andersonbain for all his help and assistance. He was very helpful throughout and always replied to any questions/emails promptly.

Mark was amazing training solicitors you would not think this very professional fast and great at his job could not recommend highly :)

Wanted to update my Will - AndersonBain have looked after me for a good few years - anyway contacted them and Cara got back in touch quickly and was able to assist with the changes - couple of things - please get costs correct as it was higher than I expected - also a little more human interaction for the changes would have been appreciated - regardless of personal opinions I cannot fault the service

We have used Anderson Bain (Claire Davis) twice, (Sold two houses and purchased two houses). Would recommend them to anyone looking to move home. Claire and Tim are lovely and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and the responses are always very fast. Taking one of the stresses away from moving home being able to rely on fast acting solicitors.
