Wholehearted recommendation

Staff at Andrew Grant go out of their way to sell your house, get the best price and keep you informed of what is happening throughout the process. Selling our house was tough but they re-doubled their efforts when our sale fell through twice, through no fault of theirs. They liaised with other agents in the chain and helped us keep the house we wanted to buy. Andrew Grant would be my first choice as estate agent in the future and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Andrew Grant - very highly recommended

After a bad experience of twenty weeks with another agent, who did absolutely nothing other than put our house on Rightmove, it was a relief to work with Andrew Grant and the team. From the very beginning they were professional and efficient, arranging many viewings with potential buyers accompanied by a charming agent ( Guy) who really took care to know the property and display it to its fullest advantage. As soon as we had established which offer we wanted to accept, the sales facilitator, ( Tonia Millard) was with us at every step of the way, guiding us through any difficulties, listening sympathetically and offering expertise and advice on our ongoing purchase, chasing up solicitors when necessary, and generally making the whole process as painless as possible. i cannot recommend this team highly enough and wish that we had not wasted twenty weeks with another agent.

Absolutely the best estate agents one…

Absolutely the best estate agents one could imagine. Lovely to work with, excellent on communication. They found us buyers very quickly and followed through at every point. I would not consider using any other estate agent now!

Disgraceful Company
Avoid renting through these guys put the property up for sale mid tenancy and did multiple viewings. Don’t respond to return deposits for 6months

Deviant practice

In summary:

1. Offered the £1 million ASKING price on a property. No others offers had been made as this time. This was on a recorded line.

2. Scott rejected it out of hand, without speaking to his vendor.

3. I simply and politely asked what the vendors would accept? As I was willing to increase if it was affordable. But I don't want to waste mine or the vendors time in viewing something I cannot afford as it was a 70 miles round trip. Is this an unreasonable question? (nothing to do with "trying to get it on the cheap".

4. Three weeks later not heard a thing......other than a response to this review. Which perhaps say a lot about their priorities?

There are plenty of Agents out there with no bad reviews, so why take the risk with your biggest asset? Especially with one who appears pleased to receive negative reviews from clients.

N.B. The property is still for sale🤔

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this updated review and to provide some clarity for those genuinely considering working with us.

To begin with, the property in question is being marketed as Offers in Excess of £1,000,000. Not at a fixed asking price. This distinction is important, especially as the property has previously attracted multiple serious offers a good six figures above the starting price. Our obligation is to our client, the vendor and accepting or encouraging offers far below that level would not serve their best interests and we know that an offer even if serious of £1,000,000 would not be acceptable.

It’s also worth clarifying that no formal offer was submitted. The reviewer was advised early on that £1,000,000 would not be acceptable given the context of prior interest and vendor expectations. He was told that any offer would need to be substantially higher in order to be taken seriously. To suggest that a valid offer was made and rejected without consultation is not accurate.

Regarding his claim that we didn’t respond to a question about “what the vendors would accept”: this is intentional. We would never disclose that. Doing so would mean negotiating on the buyer’s terms rather than working to secure the best possible outcome for our vendor, which is exactly what we’re instructed to do. Sharing such information weakens the vendor’s position and benefits only the buyer.

At the time of this post, the property has been live for just two weeks. We’ve completed seven viewings and have more booked in. We don't chase quick sales; we aim for the right sale that maximises the value of a property and provides the vendor with choice.

An agent with no bad reviews is often one who avoids difficult conversations and accepts lower offers to keep everyone happy, at the vendor’s expense. We believe the absence of criticism can sometimes reflect a failure to act fully in the seller’s best interest. While our approach may not suit every buyer, especially those hoping to secure properties well below market value, it certainly suits our vendors and we make no apologies for doing our job properly.

Very Responsive and Easy to Work With

The staff at Andrew Grant handled our new tenancy with a great deal of efficiency. There were no delays in their responses and we felt that our matters were cared for by them. We couldn’t ask for a better estate agent to work with.

The best Estate Agency I've used to date...

Me and my partner just recently rented a property through Andrew Grant and they've been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process.

The best estate agency that I've used to date!

Massive thanks to Mandy, Karla & Jake. They've been absolutely fabulous, from Mandy's professionalism and allowing us to take our time viewing the property, to Karla constantly providing updates so we're not left in the dark & facilitating a second viewing, and to Jake for being so friendly & being on the ball. The attention to detail is second to none.

The whole process was stress-free & we hope to use Andrew Grant again in the future given the stellar experience we've had.

Thanks so much! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to use an Estate Agency that cares 😊

Excellent Letting Experience

I have recently rented a property through Andrew Grant and couldn't fault the entire process. I was so interested in the property that in the beginning I had some anxiety about my application process but every time I called the office, Karla was really informative and reassuring. When I went for my initial viewing, I met Jake on site and he was really friendly and answered any questions I had. I found out the day after the viewing that I had been selected as the new tenant so didn't have to deal with the anxiety of waiting for an answer at all. The whole process was so easy and stress free because Karla and Jake made it that way for me. I hope to use Andrew Grant again in the future.

Very efficient
