While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more
Annotation Academy trains the human layer of AI. It is built by practitioners to make people job-ready for AI evaluation, AI training and data annotation work. People fail at this work not because they are not capable, but because they were never taught the fundamentals. They apply and are screened out with no explanation. They learn from forum threads and contradictory advice, then lose work over standards nobody ever showed them. What the platforms actually ask for is narrower and more teachable than that: writing complex prompts, designing the ideal response before judging anything against it, crafting the rubric that scores it, and writing justifications clear and objective enough to survive someone else's review. Those four are what our courses teach, through worked examples and exercises rather than theory. Certification ends in a proctored exam with identity verification. Passing issues a digital credential you can add to your LinkedIn profile, and that anyone can check at annotation.academy/verify. We made verification public because a certificate nobody can check is not proof of anything. The first module is free, so you can judge the material before paying for it. Annotation Academy is independent and not affiliated with any of the platforms our students go on to work with. It is a program of Spuud AI Ltd, based in Vancouver, Canada.
