Anslow Building Surveyors is an independent, family-run residential surveying practice based in Altrincham, covering Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the wider North West. The practice was founded in 2024 by Chris Anslow, an RPSA-certified surveyor with extensive experience across pre-purchase surveys, defect diagnosis and new build snagging. We carry out the full RPSA inspection range. Level 1 Home Surveys (Condition Reports) suit newer and conventional properties in good order. Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys are our most-instructed inspection, ideal for typical homes in reasonable condition. Level 3 Building Surveys provide the most detailed analysis for older, altered or non-standard properties. Alongside these, we provide new build snagging surveys carried out before legal completion, building defect diagnosis reports covering cracks, damp, subsidence and structural movement, and specialist buy-to-let surveys for landlords and investors. Every survey is conducted personally by an RPSA-qualified surveyor. We don't sit on agent panels, so the report is genuinely impartial. Reports are written in plain English with clear condition ratings, prioritised defects, and practical advice on maintenance and repairs. Typical turnaround is five working days from inspection, with a free follow-up call to talk through the findings before you commit to purchase. Our regular catchment includes Altrincham, Sale, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Alderley Edge, Bowdon, Hale, Timperley, Manchester, Salford, Stockport and Bramhall.
