By far the best experience of our lives—connecting with something magical, magnificent, and truly beautiful. It was a moment to reconnect with what really matters and to meet incredible people. Every detail from Antarctica21 was special. They made this the best travel experience of our lives.

We have done two Expedition with Antarctica 21 and the Magellan Explorer IS a great ship and also the Crew was great in both Trips.
The only Point that we have, that the guests pay a lot of Money and then you have all the influencer on the ship. When you follow in Instagram the ship and Special influencer then you relaize that some influencer for more then one time on Bord - WHO pay this people - the guests?

We were informed of the cancellation the evening before our scheduled flight to Punta Arenas (with the excuse "According to our contract, ...") less than three days before the trip was "scheduled to start." We flew to Punta Arenas not knowing where to stay and what to do. We ended up scrambling at that small town totally helpless. The company did NOTHING to mitigate the issue. The company is extremely responsible, only to its own selfish interest. I wish I could give this company a zero. Do not go through this nightmare! Avoid it at all costs!

Did fly&cruise in December 2025. Everything was organised very professionally and I would definitely recommend Anarctica21. Booking process and pre-departure information were all clear and smooth. Rented jacket and trousers were of high quality. Great facilities in Punta Arenas: hotel and Explorers House. Ship crew were super helpful, great food and service. Expedition crew were very knowledgeable, fun and helpful. Kayaking was amazing!

From the start, Antarctica21 was always available for help. They had given me good insights to take care of the complete itinerary. I would callout Rafael Guzman who went the extra mile in sorting our last minute Visa issues. Overall they ensured a memorable experience and also was very passenger friendly in accommodating adhoc requests. The ship was very clean and the crew members were very cordial and jovial. Antarctica21 is the go to place for a cherishable trip. Hats off and all the best.

I have had many great trips in my life, but the Antarctica21 trip commencing on March 22 was the best ever. I celebrated my 76th birthday on March 23, and though this was not planned as a "birthday trip" it proved to be the best birthday gift since my 60th. The entire Staff and Crew were amazing beyond words. We made memories that will cross through time. They really deserve an unlimited amount of stars for the exceptional manner in which they treated our 77, or so, shipmates. I came to know most of them on a first name basis. The Expedition Staff was remarkable. The Captain was quite skilled and very personable, I enjoyed chatting with him during meals. The Dining Staff made quite the impression on all of us. The Hotel Staff was superb. They all worked as one Team, which is remarkable in today's business world. It would be very difficult to improve on perfection. Antarctica is so pure and serene. I loved the No traffic, No street lights, No TV, etc. It was simply a trip of a lifetime and I am blessed to have made new friends from around the world. Thank You.

Antarctica21 was so well run, smooth, friendly, organized, knowledgeable and more. You can tell they are professionals at what they do and they know what they are doing. For a trip like this it is very comforting to be so well taken care of. From start to finish every member of Antarctica21 was lovely, friendly and helpful. Booking, transferring the money, and filling out the forms were extremely easy. All questions answered, and very prompt responses via email. While in Punta Arenas the staff were very helpful and reassuring, the welcome dinner is a great idea and way to meet people prior to setting off. I was very fortunate with the weather and was able to fly out on the first day intended to leave. The team kept us well informed every step of the way regarding what to do, wear, and expect. Once we landed it was very smooth and efficient from being picked up to getting on the boat. The boat was extremely clean and well kept. Such a spectacularly designed ship, cabins, and spaces. The crew was so welcoming; everyone introduced themselves and called you by your name. The food was incredible, so many options, all very flavourful. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job. The activities were unbelievable; the wildlife and untouched natural landscapes were straight out of a documentary. Felt safe the entire time on the Zodiac boats. The crew did a great job ensuring we were safe and that we kept the land and animals safe which was reassuring. The staff had immeasurable knowledge and they would even provided lectures to be attended to learn about various topics. It was such a lovely touch. There was also a karaoke night, a game where we got to know the members of the team and other fun activities. Getting to do the polar plunge was such a highlight and the photos and video from it I will cherish forever. I couldn't imagine having done this trip with any other company! Antarctica21 is the best of the best!!

To say this was the perfect trip would be an understatement. Yes the weather was amazing and the animals showed up, but it was the staff that made it. They cared. A lot. They cared about our experience and they cared about Antarctica and its animals. Pablo, Sofi, Sergie, The Iceman, Tennessee and the rest were all so great. The rooms were perfect and the food amazing. The hotel staff were so friendly, caring, professional and awesome. Also, do the kayaking, it's incredible. 11/10 experience. Thank you A21!

A trip to Antarctica is life-changing, to do it with Antarctica 21 is truly a privilege. In no particular order:
• Amazing, passionate, knowledgeable and tireless guides/ expedition staff who make every moment memorable and a learning experience.
• A ship that is safe, modern, comfortable and accomodates every need.
• “Hotel” staff who go out of their way to ensure service is always on hand and anticipate needs.
• Communication that is clear, simple and delivered with humor and consideration.
• Flexibility and contingency plans that allow for the vagaries of weather-related travel and activities.

Without causing offense to anyone, shout-out to Mike, Michael, Federico, Anais, Caren, Sophie, Ewen, Elmo, R-jay, Danny and the cabin staff for 418- room was awesome.

Antarctica21 forces Covid Booster Shots when Argentina does NOT Require

Antarctica21 forced us to get a Covid-19 Booster Shot last minute in order to go on the trip.

We had our vaccines yet we were told last minute by Antarctica 21 that we had to also get booster shots or we would be denied boarding and out over $40,000

Argentina dropped all travel restrictions and this was not a requirement by the country of Argentina.

We were coerced by Antarctica 21 and had no choice but to get the booster shots.

This was a forced shot by a Rogue Regime company to make it harder for guests to travel with Antarctica 21

Tripadvisor.com now Shields companies like pathetic Antarctica21 so people can't complain about them with real issues. Talk about being in bed together. Shameless of Tripadvisor.

Tripadvisor.com has become another corporate protection agency and no longer looks out for consumers.

Disastrous - Abhorrent - Atrocious

Antarctica21.com just notified us that they cancelled our cruise to Antarctica just 6 weeks out for no reason. How devastating.

Zero sympathy. And we are going to lose thousands of dollars in airfare

We were NOT Offered any Concessions, Onboard Credits or Free activities for our Forced Rescheduled Cruise. Absolutely Nothing. Every cruise company offers concessions but not Antarctica21.

Antarctica21 allowed 44 people to say they didn't want to go on the cruise they personally booked and they rescheduled them to other dates. Yet it states everywhere on every invoice NO REFUNDS if you cancel. Non Refundable.

While doing this, instead of still setting sail as a real cruise company would have done, All the other people who paid and were expecting to go got cancelled last minute.

So Antarctica21 cancelled Not because of Covid, Not because of weather, Not because of the ship sinking, Just cancelled because of Stupidity and lack of business Acumen.

If that is how Antarctica21.com is going to do business they might as well GO OUT OF BUSINESS. No way to run a business.

Antarctica21 has a low paid marketing staff member respond instead of their Missing in action CEO.

We would NEVER recommend Antarctica21 to anyone.

Having huge regrets booking with Antarctica21

Go with one of the many other Antarctica cruise companies like Quark Expeditions who are running like normal.

Antarctica cruises are one of the most expensive cruises you can book so DON'T book with Antarctica21

Antarctica21 cancelled our Antarctica cruise 1 1/2 months away from our sail date. They gave us a pathetic excuse and contradictions with what other passengers have been told.

We were not even offered Free Onboard Credits or Free Optional activities like Kayaking for the inconvenience and financial losses incurred. Every cruise we have been on around the world always offered these for the huge inconveniences.

The cruises Antarctica21 offered in exchange were nothing but Overpriced, Glorified Air cruises to nowhere.

Going to South Georgia Island which is not even in Antarctica and a little time spent in the outskirts of Antarctica sound. Not to mention you do not experience sailing through Drake's Passage.

And these were leaving out of Punta Arenas Chile, Home of Covid19 with strick travel restrictions requiring Mandatory Quarantine and Mobility Pass which would be impossible to get from Chile in time. The logistics would be impossible to pull off.

Antarctica21 only offered these to make it look like they were offering something big. Yet they were just trying to fill up their empty cabins.

We had our Travel agent ask them for additional dates and they flatly denied them. Antarctica21 does not collaborate and is not Amenable to their guests.

We had asked to be put on the prior week cruise and were told that the cruise was filled. That cruise is full yet 1 week later gets cancelled because not enough people? Sure, totally believable. Yet we asked 2 other travel agencies and they said there were open cabins available.

We were not even offered Free Onboard Credits or Free Optional activities like Kayaking for the inconvenience and financial losses incurred. Every cruise we have been on around the world always offered these for the huge inconveniences.

Other guests on our cruise have reached out to us and are very aggregated. They have received multiple contradictions of reasons why the cruise was cancelled. So Antarctica21 has been caught in multiple lies. Some say may be an insurance scheme.

All payments are NON Refundable yet they allowed 44 guests to Cancel and reschedule their cruises so close to our cruise sailing because they were scared to travel. Over 2 years later and All guests are Vaxxed. Let that sink in.

Antarctica21 allowed 44 guests to DICTATE how the cruise would be handled. And Antarctica21 allowed it, Oppressing ALL the other paying guests.

All other cruises lines like Quark Expeditions are traveling normally.

This Covid pandemic excuse Antarctica21 is using is getting old. Cancelling weeks out without anybody failing a test. We and millions are traveling around the world. We are Vaxxed. Stop the excuses.

Corrupt World Governments will have us in a Pandemic for the rest of our lives as they fatten their bank accounts pushing this absurdity. Get over it, start living, Travel.

Antarctica21 cancelled our cruise to Antarctica again!

7 weeks out from our cruise and they cancel. They claim 40 people cancelled and we're not going. Who cares!

Those 40 people lose their money and Antarctica21 gets to keep it as there are no refunds. And the other 60 people paid. So a full paid cruise with less people and Antarctica 21 decides to be GREEDY

Now all of us who have been waiting 3 years to go are inconvenienced AGAIN, losing money and are aggregated.

We do not recommend traveling with Antarctica 21.

All other Antarctica cruise lines are operating normally
