Emily was fantastic from the moment we enquired. The classes were brilliant and informative. We had follow-up notes, videos, notes, links, and we had it. Honestly, as a bloke, I cannot recommend it enough.

The New Beginnings Antenatal classes have been invaluable. My husband and I were pretty clueless before we started the 4 week course! Although we are by no means experts now, we do feel much more prepared for labour, for welcoming our baby and for what we might be able to expect in the weeks following the birth. Emily gave us an unbiased, yet clear and informative summary of every topic discussed, meaning we now feel confident to make the right decisions for our family. The paediatric first aid and breastfeeding courses were also a fantastic bonus and extremely helpful. Emily’s calm, caring manner has been brilliant throughout and she has gone above and beyond; knowing she is always on the end of the phone is so reassuring! We would highly recommend these classes to any parents-to-be.

I cannot recommend Emily and the New Beginnings Antenatal Class enough! I have been super anxious about labour and birth the last few months but Emily has made me feel so much more confident and informed about the whole process. If you’re a first time Mum and looking for somewhere to feel fully prepared for what is to come, do not hesitate. The addition of Paediatric 1st Aid was invaluable and we feel so much more educated on dealing with it all. To top it off you’ll get to meet a lovely group of people that are all in the same boat to stay in touch with after. Thank you Emily 😁

I would recommend these classes to anyone! We had very little knowledge prior to the 4 classes and feel much more ready and informed about the whole process from everything before the birth to the fourth trimester. Emily was great and so informative. The chapel has an amazing relaxing setting. Thank you so much Emily!

These classes were really informative and worthwhile. Emily who ran the classes was fantastic, she was very honest about the birth process which is exactly what you want when knowing what to expect and she gave us lots of information on ways we can take control over our own experiences in the hospitals when in labour and active birth. I would definitely recommend doing these classes.

Emily at New Beginnings is so supportive, friendly and creates such a lovely learning environment. My partner and I have taken so much from not only the classes themselves, but also the additional resources and suggestions available.

Emily was friendly, knowledgeable and calming in her delivery of our 4 sessions. We would highly recommend this to any new parents to be and feel that Emily has really helped us to understand what is ahead as well as prepare and relax us with what to do.

We had such a wonderful experience with Emily! As new parents-to-be we learnt so much over this duration of the course and now feel much more educated and informed going into birth. It's a really welcoming space and Emily was really kind and patient with us all - we were always made to feel welcome to ask questions, and never made to feel rushed. There is a lot of info packed into 4 weeks but you never felt overwhelmed, and Emily was full of positive reassurance.

We'd highly recommend Emily and New Beginning to any new parents, you won't regret it!

Going into the classes, my husband and I were unsure what exactly to expect as this is our first child. Emily is very knowledgable, speaking from personal and professional experience. She approaches each subject with unbiased opinions and puts a huge emphasis on what our rights are as parents during the delivery process.

We feel a lot more confident about bringing our little girl into the world. Don’t get me wrong, we are still very nervous, but to have someone like Emily only a phone call away, it’s a relief!

We would highly recommend ‘New Beginnings’ to new parents. Emily made the sessions engaging, informative and very useful. We both felt that any questions or queries we had were answered and have learnt lots. Great to have a paediatric first aid course as well as a breast feeding zoom too.

We both found the sessions really informative and such a relaxing atmosphere, which put us both at ease. Emily was happy to answer any questions, and was very knowledgeable about everything!

We really didn't know what to expect, but Emily's sessions exceeded our expectations. No question was too small or too silly and she made everyone feel at ease immediately. I was really impressed by her knowledge and passion for everything pregnancy and baby related. I think this is why she is such a good practitioner as it's clearly more than a job title for her. I'm due around 3 weeks time and due to her sessions I feel so much more prepared and relaxed (and even excited!) for labour. I would not be feeling this way without these sessions.

Emily’s course far exceeded my expectations, I was slightly apprehensive going into antenatal classes about what they might entail but Emily made us feel comfortable for the moment we walked in. Her course covered everything I wanted to know and things I wouldn’t have even know to ask about. I always felt I could ask any questions about anything without being an annoyance. Would recommend to anyone. Good snacks aswell!

We couldn’t recommend Emily highly enough. She is so lovely and welcoming and makes you feel like you can ask her anything. Her sessions were really informative and helpful and we came away from our course feeling so much more prepared for Labour, birth and how to look after our baby.
The course never felt rushed, and she put in extra time for us all if we had any extra query’s or concerns we wanted to discuss.
We feel a lot more confident about everything and we would definitely recommend Emily’s course to anyone else!

When we signed up for NCT classes we did so in order to find a little community and to gain, as first time parents, knowledge we felt we didn't have. We definitely struck gold with both aspects. The four other couples we met were wonderful and our teacher - Emily, was outstanding. She presented all the information in a fair and non biased mannar, making sure we were aware of all our options in order to allow us the benefit of informed consent. Our questions were answered without judgement (even the finicky ones on my part that no one really needs the answer to unless they're interested in becoming a birth professional). So much of the fear that was held before our course was taken away with kind, gentle teaching. So much so that, with all the information we've learned as a couple, we've chosen a home birth. Something I never thought I would say as a first time Mum! We can't thank Emily and New Beginnings enough for going so far above beyond our expectations.

The new beginning antenatal classes with Emily were great. Gave us the chance to meet other people and was nice to know we all had similar thoughts and experiences happening with the pregnancy.

Emily was really informative. She shared lots of useful information and was always able to answer additional questions or sign post to a relevant websites/ online classes.

The setting was calming and the snacks were a really nice touch too 😊.

We really enjoyed our sessions with Emily in May 2023, they felt very relaxed and we were comfortable to ask questions, but also full of useful information - my husband and I are both feeling more prepared for labour and birth now. It’s also great knowing that Emily’s on the other end of the phone/whatsapp if we need anything. Also a very competitive price compared to others we looked at - would really recommend! Looking forward to the first aid course and the reunion :)
