I had some suspicions about the person I was in contact, something just wasn't right but I couldn't put my finger on it. I shared my concerns with antiarnaques and Dimitri was able to show me multiple profiles in different countries of the same person. The young man I was interested in was shown to be a fake. Antiarnaques.com found ”my” scammer in just a couple of hours. I had some evidence allready like a fake flat but couldnt find her pictures to verify she was someone else. That was taken care of by this team. Do not forget to report the scammers!

The lesson to take away is to never, ever, ever send money to people you have not met in person, no matter what excuse or sob story these scammers online tell you. They just want to part you from your money and are utterly ruthless in doing so.

Dimitri saved me from an expensive and horrible mistake. My overseas girlfriend stated she planned to come see me and wanted me to pay a good part of the money for the trip.
