Be very careful eBay.es NOT TO BE TRUSTED
Be very careful eBay.es, they do not care about their clients or sellers. they are only interested in gaining sales commissions. Client Service is no existent. It is impossible to contact ebay.es They even send you corrupt ·no-reply" messages so that you are unable to reply or communicate with them.
I have been with ebay.es 19 years and before that with ebay.com I never had problemsd with ebay.co, but ebay,es are a total disaster, they hide and do not even attempt to resolve problems. They do nothing to protect sellers from scammers or "false buyers".
I have just suffered a terrible experience at ebay.es hands, and they have even hekped a scammer steal my Yamaha Violin. Noe ebay.es are "washing their hands" of the matter. I am taking the matter to the Courts as ebay.es refuse to do anything.
In summary:
I placed a beautiful Yamaha Silent Violin on sale. Almost immediately a "false buyer" ordered the violin. No messages or questions asked. Ebay gave me just 3 days to send the Violin. They send me 4 messages, all no-reply, insisting that I send the Violin quickly. They had already received the funds, but retained them from me, with excuse that I was missing profile data. Rememeber that I have been with ebay for 19 years!
I quickly spent 90€ on a protective case, packaing and thick cardboard box. I spent another 60€ on the postage at Correos España. I sent a message to the "buyer" that the violin was sent, and gave details of the tracking number etc.
The very next day the buyer requested a full refund, alledging the violin was not what he had ordered!!! This is a total lie. How can he make such a lie, when he has not seen or received the violin?
I sent a summary of the events to ebay via a feedback form, as no messaging system exists to deal with ebay. their "help" system is an insult, you just go around in circles, withing being able to communicate with anyone. Their annoying "virtual agent" is a total waste of time too.
I checked the "false buyers" profile, no details, few transctions, incomplete name, and a business address in Cyprus. All this and ebay "pushed" me to send the violin.
The buyer appears to be a "returns scammer". He says he has not received the item, yet he requested a refund!. He will probably send back an empty box and keep the violin. Corres say the violin is in Cyprus. Ebay are washing their hands of the matter, they refuse to help.
What guarantee can ebay give that I will receive the violin back again???
I managed to chat with an ebay.es support agent only once, she assured me that ebay.es would not refund the "false buyer"s money until it was confirmed that I had received the violin and that it was in the same condition as when I posted it.
I am still without the violin.
But ebay,es are trying to ignore me, and wash their hands of the matter, ebay.es are thieves.
Client care ZERO!
I suggest no-one uses ebay.es to sell anything of value. Ebay.es does not care about seller safety.
