I used Any Assembly recently to assemble most of my bedroom and living room furniture. Everything worked well, except my bed. My bed has three height levels, the lowest is meant for using with a box spring, which I am not, and they assembled it in the lowest one. I noticed that the mattress was very low, kind of uncomfortable, but I thought that it was a bad bed from Ikea (Hemnes), but after researching on it, the bed is actually good, the issue was with the height level used (lowest). Anyway, I changed it to the second one, and now it's ok, but I had to spend some time on it, which was not the initial idea when I hired them. Besides that, everything worked well.

The job they did was to review and clean up mistakes on my home gym assembly done by another service which was incompetent. They fixed several mistakes and the gym now works more smoothly. They were polite, knowledgeable, smart and efficient, and also timely. There's home gyms are complicated to assemble with hundreds of parts and complex pulleys. I highly recommend having you home gym assembled by experts such as these guys.

I hired Any Assembly to install an IKEA kitchen. Overall, I would not hire them again for a number of reasons.
For the good... I appreciate that the contractors seemed committed to the task. I had an outdated version of the kitchen so replacement parts were not available. The installers were able to come up with solutions to avoid the project not being completed. This happened on two different occasions. It cost, but it was greatly appreciated nonetheless. I also had some concerns regarding the final installation of the cabinets and called the main number to address them. The contractors came out and explained exactly why it was that things were done contrary to what I expected.
For the bad... after the first day, the contractors arrived around 5-6 pm each evening. That meant they were still working well into the wee hours of the evening. For a family with young children, that was very difficult to bear. Usually, they would leave around 9-10 pm. On the last day of the project they didn't leave until 1 or so in the morning. Obviously that meant we had to stay up that late as well and had to listen to the construction in between dozing off. From my understanding, they were coming from another project. Better time management on the company's part would be appreciated. I did think it was unfair that we had to be subjected to that on account it was because they were coming from another project. They were well aware of the level of work that needed to be completed. Arriving that late and expecting to do 4-5 hours of work is crazy.
Although we were given a timeline of a couple of days (a weekend), the project was extended into a week. We had an out of town trip planned that resulted in only one of us going in order to accommodate the contractors. At one point, it was requested that we either leave our door unlocked or leave the keys under the mat to allow the contractors to begin work without anyone being home. Do note, the time extension may have been due to the additional work that needed to take place i.e. finding adequate replacement parts, mold remediation, drywall replacement. However, I do believe the late arrival times and limited work time contributed to the extension as well.
Considering the contractors left after midnight on the final night, I was not able to do a complete walk-through while they were there. But I was not satisfied with the poor attention to detail.
1. I have drawer pulls that were not installed straight.
2. All cabinets are supposed to have soft-close mechanisms. All do not. This was never highlighted during the project.
3. Edge of some counters were chipped due to poor handling.
4. They charge a clean-up fee as they are supposed to clean out each cabinet from any debris. Some were done, but a good number weren't.
5. Leaving personal trash. Used/empty water bottles, drink cups, etc. were left on-site. A general regard that you are in someone's home would have been appreciated.

I hired them to disassemble and reassemble my couch because it wouldn't fit in my basement as is. They showed up on time and got the job done. It cost me about $350, which is expensive, but cheaper than many of the other places I looked at. They damaged my wall a little bit and made me an offer to paint/fix it whenever I'm ready to (which was a bit weird but after painting so much of the rest of my house, I'm honestly considering it lol). They took really long (about 3.5 hours) because it seemed as if they were trying their hardest to avoid taking the couch apart. They tried moving it about 15 times. I get it, but at some point you gotta just suck it up. Trying to take the easy way out probably added an extra hour or more to the job. If it could have been moved without cutting it, I wouldn't have called (an blew $350 lol). All in all, you don't notice where they cut the couch. It still feels sturdy so far. So I'm good. I would go with them again if necessary but I hope to not have to.

I have used Any Assembly many times to do work around my office. They move things, they put things together and they fill holes in the walls. They are the absolute best. I highly recommend them. They easily set up appointments and text you when they are on their way. If you have anything around the house or office you need help with give them a call you won't regret it!

Showed up on time (on a really cold, windy day) and put it together better than I could have even if I devoted a weekend to it. 10 years ago I would have scoffed at the idea of paying someone to do this but I have less time now and am really glad I opted to use this service.

Our installers did a super job installing a very bulky murphy bed. They were experienced with the product and, following the instruction manual, were able to install the bed in about one-quarter the time it would have taken me. Most importantly, our property (walls, carpet, etc.) was respected and left in the condition that it was in before the work started. Great job!
