I had to reinstall my windows and I reinstalled the anydesk software. I was pleasantly surprised of the new upgrade and was again amazed at how the program just works flawlessly. I highly recommend it's use and would be glad to tell it anyone who will hear it.

BEWARE!!!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid Anydesk!

I so badly wish I could turn back the clock. I usually check suppliers on Trustpilot, but this one slipped through somehow and I'm suffering now...:-(

How Anydesk are still in business after all the negative reviews amazes me. Interesting they only respond to positive reviews, so clearly they don't care about their reputation.

I signed up for the Solo Licence on 14 February 2025 because I had used them before, instead of testing on a trial (that's on me!). But the software proved so user UNfriendly that I found an alternative product and sent them an email to cancel. [Note, in your Anydesk account there is nowhere to cancel the subscription!]

Their reply was "As per our terms and conditions (§17.1), the minimum contract term of your licence is 12 months. In addition, AnyDesk offers test licenses which you can try before making a purchasing decision. Therefore, we cannot comply with your request. For this reason, your contract will be terminated on XX/XX/2026. We have a Get started page that can help you use AnyDesk. If this is not enough, we also offer Demos conducted by a Customer Success member, free of charge."

I pushed back and even threatened to escalate the matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities, including the European Consumer Centre (ECC) and other appropriate regulatory bodies.
That didn't phase them and they continue to repeat, it is not possible to cancel your current subscription.

My bank tried to dispute the transaction but to no avail. I'm considering other avenues, but find it incredibly disappointing that Anydesk don't take the time to repond to any negative views. BEWARE!!!

Bad software, bad customer service

Software for the mac is terrible. Doesnt remember log in details, randomly logs you out, doesnt remember address book or saved PC's, cancels connections randomly

Best part is the way the customer service works is – you have a problem, Anydesk has a call to sort it, they don’t sort it, you ask them for an update, they don’t reply. And the best part is, while your crap software doesn’t work, they will bill you for another full year of subscription and not offer the chance for a refund.

These scammers get minus -1000 stars…

These scammers get minus -1000 stars for scamming. They need to be investigated. They hi-jack people's computers posing as a Microsoft breach, lock your computer, w/ a loud bot yelling do not attempt to turn off your computer, etc... only to send you over to AnyDesk appearing to be the saviour. I promise you they're going to jail for this.

Terrible organisation - increases price, then threatens legal action

This company is nothing short of a corporate predator—raising prices by over 50% in just one year and then threatening legal action if you don’t pay up.

What was once an affordable and practical screen-sharing tool has now become a grossly overpriced cash grab. As an company that only needs to screen-share a few times a week with customers, being forced to fork out nearly $500 in our local currency is beyond extortionate.

And what do I get for this outrageous price? The basic ability to control a client’s mouse and connect with them easily. That’s it. $500 for a feature that should be standard—pure daylight robbery.

But what’s even worse than the ridiculous pricing is the company’s complete lack of ethics and empathy. Instead of listening to their loyal customers, they’d rather bully small businesses into submission with legal threats.

Shame on the leadership team. They have either lost touch with reality or simply don’t care about the people who built their success. Small businesses are struggling, and instead of supporting them, they choose to squeeze every last cent out of them.

I can’t stress this enough—avoid this company at all costs. They don’t deserve your trust, your business, or your hard-earned money.

Never again AndyDesk

Never again AndyDesk. I have never had such problems with remote software, although I was no longer satisfied with Teamviewer. No support, demanded and received money back from Paypal, after a year an error message appears and since then the free version no longer works either.

I am now with Splashtop and am very satisfied - it is much easier for my customers and correspondingly cheaper for me. and above all it works.

I received a text today indicating that $174.90 was charged to my Apple ID via Apple Pay. If this wasn't you, contact Apple Support (888-407-9256). The phone number on the text is 412-208-5167. I called the support number (male w/ Indian accent) and was instructed to download AnyDesk. I followed instructions to a certain point and then stopped as I really became suspicious and hung up. Upon checking, I never set up Apple Pay!!!

Expensive and hard to cancel subscription

I have been using anydesk for 4 years, the software is ok, but it got prohibitively expensive (300 € / year) and it is very difficult to cancel subscription (you cancel a day before renew, they charge your account anyways, support responds saying better luck next time, they want to keep your money anyways). They do not honor EU laws on consumer protections. Also many scammers use this service, each to their own.

Worst recruiting process I’ve ever experienced in my life. Recruiter with the worst ego ever who needs to read a script word by word while the second recruiter would do more things at the same time and laugh of the whole process. Good luck finding good people if this is how you treat your workers

Slightly difficult with mac systems

Slightly difficult with mac systems - need to do extra settings (system settings modificatinos) that's not required for windows. Otherwise, ok app that can be cheaper.

Technology should be easy and cheaper to access as time progresses....

Anydesk app works for fraudulent purposes. At the very least it is a scalers tool using Phantom and several other apps for fraudulent purposes. Please do not be hacked by the use of this app. My identity has been compromised using these apps thinking they were a part of a rebutal seller amazon. I was stupid please learn from my mistake.

I'd recommend AnyDesk Customer Support to anyone who asked me. Olivia, Berk and Raffaella were all really helpful, solved my problems and were so human and charming as well. Almost unique in Customer Services and Tech Support these days ... rush to use AnyDesk now!

Used to be good. Price increases for worse performance now.

Used to use LogMeIn - they raised prices an obscene amount. Switched to Anydesk. Worked well. Subsequent updates over the years have made it less reliable. Ridiculously aggressive sales email and phone calls 4 months ago trying to pressure me into renewing my subscription early. I set myself a calendar reminder to cancel a week out from my renewal date as they’ve increased prices. As others have mentioned, scummy cancellation policy.

Wish me luck on fighting their “can’t cancel 30 days before end of term” policy.

Be wary of really good software companies that launch a “new and improved” version - seems to be an excuse to just raise prices for decreased service and new UI.

TLDR; used to be good, look for alternatives now. Avoid my cancellation mistake.
