I never got my package from apari

I never got my package from apari. I ordered two items . A year of the snake sweater and a year of the snake hoodie on December 3. Despite the tracking package stating that the package was on the way I never received it. This was two months ago. Sucks to because a lot of their merch looks really cool.

Nice quality

I bought a jumper a while ago from Apari. Although it was a little on the pricey side, I don't think it was absolutely ridiculous if I compare it to some similar items I might buy at stores or at comic con, which aren't as good quality.

The jumper is thick and material feels nice. The design is unique too. I haven't had any problems with the jumper shrinking, but I'm careful to not wash on high heat. I haven't bought any other products from Apari so I can't comment on those.

I ordered this as part of a new release/pre-order and was happy with the amount of updates received along the way as well. It did take a little bit longer than anticipated, but as long as I was updated I didn't mind too much.

Overall, I think the company makes some uniquely designed, good quality clothing.

Overpriced merch & poor quality

Normally I'm more than happy to pay large amounts of money for clothes should the quality and service match the price tag, neither of these were valid.

My order was from a while ago now (late 2022), a lovely embroidered sweater that was advertised on trash taste. The design was really quite nice and happens to be the only good thing about this company.

Now after a few wears, the embroidery started coming off and stitching problems began to show which is just unacceptable for premium clothing.

Not to mention that whilst I did try to get in touch with them, my email didn't get any sort of response. Apari are one step away from scammers, save your hard earned money and never buy from them.

Disapointing & Overpriced Merch

I was really excited to find this sort of subtle anime merchandise that has been somewhat well received by the Trash Taste community. Unfortunately, after doing some window shopping on the site and buying, I became disappointed.

The first factor is how expensive everything is. $40/£30 dollars for a base t-shirt. Now you may argue that this quality is beyond other manufactures and apparel sites but in base reality a graphic t-shirt valued at $40 dollars is a little high and the quality is basic compared to other cheaper online apparel sites - not to discredit the artist but that’s a lot of money for one shirt.

Maybe you fancy a 'collab x' sweater, that’ll be $100 for base sweater. Really? Can you really argue that price range?

It gets worse – Ship to the UK? Extra $25-30 charge. Why? What’s the reasoning for such an expense? You want to be a worldwide apparel selling site but that shipping cost for soft clothes is highly priced. If anything, the likes of 1 single graphic shirt costs $70 – a similar price of top quality designer brands, are you saying that apari merch is on that level?

“Original artwear brand focused on creating high quality clothes with unique silhouettes and colour concepts” is the quote from your about page. I agree its original artwear, but high quality? – for $103 dollars?! Let it be known that washing the products are very hit and miss. The sweaters sometimes have stitching problems when washing with cold water by hand or the graphics on t-shirts wearing away after one or two washes when washing and this a general consensus within the trash taste subreddit, see for yourself.

The other disappointing aspect is the lack of restock. Once you see something new and or available in the size you want, well once it’s gone its gone forever. Never have I seen a restock e-mail and or products restocked from a checking period of 6-8 months.

All in all, really disappointed in pricing and quality. I get it’s a business to make money but charging upwards for $170/£140 for 3 different graphics but basic bargain material shirts – its not really consumer friendly. I like and want to support this site, but with that pricing and quality - How can I?
