Scammer who has been removed from…

BEWARE: Scammer who has been removed from facebook - I advertised my car on marketplace and was contacted by someone pressurizing me to pay for an Apex Inspection Report (£49.99) on the vehicle to reassure them before they bought it for their partner which I did reluctantly and never heard from them again even though they do provide an actual report. However, I still have the personal Gmail address they used and it seems that the Apex Inspections.Uk website has also suddenly disappeared offline so I will now contact my credit card providers fraud department for a refund hopefully. I can only guess they own the company and wanted more business or they use the free online car checks and then try to charge people for them.

I think this is a scam

I think this is a scam. I advertised a car on facebook and was immediately contacted by someone who wanted a report from this company and that he would buy the car at full price with a good report. The inspection would cost 47 but see comments for Ace inspections where someone had £950 attempted to be taken from their credit card after going on the website and paying the 47.
