Apex has improved a lot in the last years, I would recommend it as prefered Futures Prop Firm. If I had to give one negative, it's the time it takes for approved payments to get sent to your bank (in... See more

Great company. Love these guys. Been trading with them for over 3 years now I think (first couple years trying to get funded and this last year fully funded up). I’ve had problems with Mr Market at times but I have never once had an issue with Apex. They are very fair and have good support. Yeah the payments are slow (usually 7-10 business days to hit my acct) but such is life just get a bunch of accounts and stagger your payment requests then you have a payout arriving every day or few days

Very good pricing structure. Easy to navigate website. Payouts seem a little slow. Support response time is good

Nice, just passed 2 of my first evaluations, on the road to payouts now !

Unjustified account closure
My Apex Trader Funding account was wiped out overnight based on a vague identity check failure. The notice from their Risk team offered nothing concrete: no indication of which document caused the issue, no window to fix it, no channel to challenge the outcome.
What stood out even more was the tone - a firm statement that the ruling stands, followed by a warning against ever registering again under threat of legal steps. That is not customer service; that is a brush-off with a threat attached.
Before trusting this company with your funds, ask yourself whether you are comfortable being cut off on a whim with no answers. I was not, and I regret finding out the hard way.
After the update I have really appreciated their backend, it has much more information. The rules are also easier to understand.
Once I secured a payment they took care of everything that needed to happen without me having to facilitate the process much.

Terminated without a real reason
Apex Trader Funding shut down my account through a generic message from their so-called Risk Department, claiming I did not pass identity verification. That was it. No breakdown of which document was rejected, no opportunity to correct anything, no path to appeal.
The email itself is upfront that the outcome cannot be revisited and that no additional information will be shared. On top of that, they threaten legal consequences if you attempt to sign up again.
Any serious financial operation owes its clients a clear reason and a fair review process. Getting a copy-paste dismissal after paying and putting in the work is unacceptable. Save your money and pick a prop firm that actually stands behind its decisions.
Account closed with no explanation and no recourse
I'm leaving this review to warn other traders about my experience with Apex Trader Funding.
After participating with them, I received a short email from their Risk Department stating that my account had been permanently closed because I allegedly "failed ID verification." That was the entire explanation. No detail about what document was rejected, no chance to submit again, no reason to trust that the review was actually done properly.
The email explicitly states the decision is "final," that they are "unable to provide further details or reconsideration," and that I am no longer allowed to use any Apex-related services. They also warned that creating another account could lead to legal action.
A few things every prospective customer should understand before signing up:
1. "Failed ID verification" can be used as a catch-all reason to terminate accounts without any obligation to explain what actually went wrong.
2. There is no appeal process. Once the Risk Department decides, that is the end of the conversation, regardless of what you paid, what you traded, or what balance you had.
3. You have no way to distinguish a genuine compliance issue from an error on their end, because they refuse to share specifics.
For a company that positions itself as a partner to serious traders, this is not how a legitimate business handles its customers. Real financial firms document their decisions, give the customer a chance to respond, and follow clear procedures. A one-paragraph email that ends the relationship without a single verifiable detail is the opposite of that.
I would strongly recommend anyone considering a prop firm evaluation look at alternatives with transparent dispute resolution and clear communication before sending money to Apex.
Hope I joined Apex family earlier. But a friendly reminder- the rule like “pa acct will be closed after 6 payouts” will push real traders away (to Trideify or Lucid)

I placed a BAN on Apex.
Never again will I give them money after what they did to me.
My apex account was a monthly fee account and allowed me time to complete the challenge without stress. I am very glad to see they have returned the legacy 250.000 account. I need the time to pass. Apex has been easy to use. After passing, the PA account was ready for next day trading.

I used their 90% discount to test myself against a 25k trailing drawdown account. Everything went pretty smoothly, and it was a fun challenge. After paying to activate to PA, I managed to get a payout. Took about 2 minutes for my payout to be approved, but unfortunately I submitted a day before a federal holiday, so I didn't expect to get payment that soon. Payout was approved on 6/18 and received in my bank on 6/30.

The only reason I give 4 starts is because the payout system take longer than other firms other than that I love Apex firm

Scammers/rug pullers. Had over 20k in profit on funded accounts and they take them away offering me only 3k. Dishonest company. Avoid.
Unclear payout rules after the first payout. The listing says something completely different from what the rule actually is.
