I apologize that the lot did not have precisely what you were looking for in terms of countries included. Were you able to look at the scans prior to buying? As this lot had over 150 scans there should have been a nice representation of countries included for you to view. Second time I’ve purchased from…
Second time I’ve purchased from Apfelbaum, first time was someone’s lifetime collection and was just as advertised. This time I purchased a group of stamps from Australia in order to begin upgrading a collection that my late Dad had begun many years ago. Now I’m also a collector hobbyist, and certainly not a dealer or reseller, but the stamps I received were apparently from a dealer (individual envelopes with a dealers logo) and contained probably a third duplicates, for which I have no outlet - this should have been in the lot description.

Let me explain....the lot you purchased - stock #417973, a United States collection - was new to our inventory. We do not generally keep new inventory (added within the last 30 days or so) in our higher discount sales. The lot was added on November 8th and you bought the lot that same day. So, even though we had a 70% off sale shortly thereafter, the lot you bought would not have been included in that particular sale. I hope this clears up your frustration. Please feel free to reach out to us directly with any other concerns you may have.

Apfelbaum not only provided great customer service but the shipping was affordable and the package was received expediently and without challenge— For years I perused this seller’s extensive inventory but never ordered for fear of cross border complications.
