I tried both App Institute and a competitor, and the prompt, thorough, & cheerful support offered by Dave made all the difference. He basically gave me a jump-start, by providing a customized demo app with content from my website, along with complete instructions as to how to continue. And then he quickly and clearly answered my subsequent questions.
Once you get a handle on how to use the site, App Institute is very user-friendly, with a wealth of attractive features. If you're a beginner, be sure to let their support help you get started - it will save you a world's worth of frustration and time!

At first, I believed the only way I could build an app for my business was to pay for it. But with a little research, I realized that I could build it myself. I found Appinstitute through a Google search. It appeared to be the most user friendly so I went for the free trial. After taking a few weeks to really get into, I began to build my radio app. At the end of it, I am truly happy with the finished product. Each day I build on it and am excited to add to it each time. The customer service is A+. When I encounter a problem I can not solve, it takes between one and two messages to resolve the issue. The only downside i have is that you have to choose the top plan to receive white label status. Other than that I am extremely happy with Appinstitute, would recommend it to others and plan on using it to build other apps for my business.

The folks at App Institute are GREAT!! I needed a way to communicate with my workforce, and this app has done just that. If you're tech savvy even a little bit, you can get through this. If not, they are really quick to respond and help. So glad I found this site!

Not great and waste of time and money! Was told of all the service capabilities and functions but once paid (yearly subscription in full) the service was gone. Told the sales rep multiple times where the app will be used and was reassured there would be no problems. When it came to development and connection to merchant facility it didn't comply. When asked for some sort of refund due to this app not being able to be used at all they refused and progressed to very delayed replies that required multiple follow ups to get response. To put this into perspective this all happened in the first month of subscription so still had 11 months of subscription fully paid which i asked to consider some sort of pro-rata refund but was shut down. Should have probably paid 1 month at a time and would have avoided this issue. Be very careful paying for the full yearly subscription as services goes once locked in!

A great app platform, very simple to build your own app and have it published up to a week later, the service wasn't for me though but i would recommend

After a few years of looking for companies to create my app through, I found AppInstitute. They are by far the most simple, thorough and user-friendly app developer. They have a lot of options to customize your app exactly how you want it. All of their instructions are very easy to follow and if you have any other questions or concerns, their live chat is very fast and helpful. I would definitely recommend this service to others.

Overall the experience has been great, top notch support( remotely accessed a third party printer to help set it up,) prompt, round the clock responses, and plenty of layout and design options to bring out a unique creative flair.
