Very sad…

First I want to say that the five green stars are for you 3 I'm very sorry that you went through that. I just said that a few minutes ago it wasn't long ago I said that very thing. I understand it's hard to get a part for every single model of refrigerator and stock it because I have 18000 service manuals myself and that's not all of them it's just almost impossible. I do understand that part but. Obviously he didn't look very hard and doing the work it's not hard you might not have the part but doing the work is easy. Again I'm very sorry it happened to you.

I had the same experience

I had the same experience. Had a problem with my fridge not working. After assessing they found was a fan issue in the freezer was told for $280 they would order the part and he would be back no extra charge. After few days I enquired with customer service and was told the part is not available. It is obsolete fridge is 2014? I found the part myself though GE online and ordered it. I called him to come back and install it. He came back and told me it was the wrong part and was charging me $90. I told him I wasn't paying and he left. Of course GE gave me the wrong part number I found it myself after disassembling the fan and looking at it myself. I ordered the part and installed it myself. Fridge has been working since then with no issue. I just received from a collection agency that I owe $90
These people are complete rip-off they don't I care about resolving your problem.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS - THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!

Had a service call to fix our washing machine, guy looked at it and said it was the bearing and that he can fix it same day and would cost $280. After we agreed to it, it was a totally different problem...needed a new part...so he said he would order the part but could not give us an estimate but all we would have to pay extra is for the part, the $280 included installation of the part. Next day, he calls and the part is no longer available (machine is only 7 years old) so he can't fix the machine but we're not getting our money back. So basically we paid $280 plus tax for him to tell us our machine was broken. Called service desk and said they never refund any money ever...don't really care about customer service, they just want to take as much money from you as possible. Not even sure if these guys are licensed.

These guys will cheat you, stay far, far away

Our washing machine broke down and we called the Appliancerepairguys.ca.
They came out early on Sunday morning, on time.
The technician was nice a friendly.
It was $80.00 plus tax for him to come out, which we understood.
We told him the problem and he said to fix should be $280.00 + tax but he would have to look first.
After the technician opened up the machine, he said we needed a new drum and it would cost $1200.00.
No thank, he closed it up and billed us.
I thought he was billing us $80.00 but he billed us $280.00 + tax.
When we called the company they gave us some stupid, that's our policy type answer.

So, the technician was here for 20 minutes.
He didn't fix anything.
He didn't do anything.
Why are you charging me $280.00 plus tax??

Total rip off.
Stay, far, far away.
Either the technician is a crook or the company itself is crooked.

My final bill should have been $80.00 not $280.00.
Shame on the Appliancerepairguys.ca.
