Definitely 5 stars plus!
The team of 3 men arrived on time as promised to insulate the attic.
When they finished about 4 hours later the lead installer showed me the finished work. Then they tidied.
The result that cold evening in February was amazing. No draughts and a warmer more comfortable home. Thank you so much Arate, I had no idea it could be so easy, so efficient and a with a powerfully excellent team. Everyone should do it!

A rate recently insulated my attic with earth wool. I have to say the whole process was very straightforward from start to finish. The lads arrived on a Monday morning to complete the job, nice lads, very respectful, there to do a job and done it very well. Everywhere was covered in plastic and any dirt that was left was hoovered up and the place left clean and tidy. Highly recommend this company.

I initially chose A Rate based on what seemed like a professional service, but my experience turned out to be extremely frustrating and disappointing. A major error was made by the company in measuring the amount of attic flooring required — something two other companies had no issue with.

Despite me having requested and received clear email confirmation about the scope of work, prior to signing the contract, I was made to feel as though I had misrepresented the situation, once the issue was discovered. This was upsetting and frustrating.

It took persistent follow-up and a formal complaint before the issue was taken seriously. Thankfully, eventually, the general manager Andy did step in and refunded my deposit. However, the way the situation was handled up until then left me very stressed and disappointed, and I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Very happy to recommend A-rate. From initial enquiry to job completion the service was excellent. We had attic and walls insulation carried out -in a home we mistakingly thought had a good level of insulation in situ. The difference has been remarkable and we enjoyed a cozy, draft free home with less reliance on heating all winter. A tidy job all round. Many thanks

I recently had these guys do some insulation works for me. The team were fantastic. On time & clean & the work is great. From start to finish I would highly recommend this company.

Having had the attic and walls insulated, I decided to go with this company again to replace all my windows and patio doors.

As a landlord that's let out my property through a third party and not the tenant, I was a little bit apprehensive about this part of the journey how I would organise both tenant and Technician, but from my first call to the last, Shay from the office made this an extremely seamless journey, he is unbelievable a rare breed when it comes to 5 star customer service, he is definitely A rated gold star, I would of been lost without his help, guidance, ongoing updates, knowledge and advice. Definitely would recommend this company for all your insulation needs!

Really great experience, from start to finish from Shay in the office to the team on the day ,highly recommend.

Just had the attic insulation done in the last week. Shay was originally the point of contact then one of his guys called within a day or so to look over the job. I had insulation flooring put down to replace the old chipboard and extra insulation fitted. All pipes were wrapped and a plumbers walkway was put in free of charge. The lads that did the job couldn't have been cleaner in doing their job and it only took a few hours. All paperwork was filled out for me to finalize my grant. Would definitely recommend them. Also I had no hidden costs. I had a full quote emailed before the job was done. Thanks again.

Online says €330 average to insulate attic. When they come out it's suddenly turns into €2500. Smells like a scam. Don't trust them!

A highly professional company. Shay and Andy were always available to us when we rang with queries and nothing was too much trouble to them. Ben the Technical Surveyor was very helpful and explained everything to us in detail. Adam and the crew did a wonderful job including fitting a new ladder. The job was completed in the matter of hours and they did a great clean up job at the end.

I would highly recommend A Rate Your Attic to anyone.
