If I could give 0 starts i would. I sent freight out to Missouri on 3/24/23 and as of 4/4/23 it never was delivered. Instead of going to Missouri my shipment went to Texas.
I was told it would have to come back to me and then be sent out again.
Missouri is a 2 day point. It has now been 10 days and still no delivery.

Despite us and our neighbors building homes here and receiving countless service deliveries from envelopes to furniture to farm equipment to steel and wood sheds weighing many tons all delivered to our doorstep by all types of delivery services...OUR DELIVERY WAS REFUSED based on a Google Earth Satalite photo taken over a decade ago! They said we could pick up from their dock in a nearby town. We declined. Then they suggested we meet in the parking lot of a bar so that my wife and I could transfer a 500lb hot tub from their truck to the bed of our pickup truck and take it home. When we asked to escalate we were refused a phone number and had to research ourselves. When we finally spoke to a regional hub customer service rep, they asked US to go make a video of our road usinh our cell phones and email itbto them to "prove" our driveway was there! (During this nightmare we recieve a delivery of fresh caught flash fish on dry ice from Alaska placed on our door step by the very nice UPS driver who we see often) We declined to make them a video. They said they'd send someone to "double check" the Google Earth result from 90 miles away. Now, we can't "prove" they did or didn't, but call us back 8 minutes later saying they came and checked and, yeah, they still couldn't do it. We'll let the reader decide. It was here we told them they were fired. Called "around" to like 1 other local delivery company, speaking with like 1 helpful person who took all our information in like 5 minutes and the
we emailed that to the super-helpful, super friendly folks in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada who must think we really are some kind of Halupke Republic some Americans lust for our country to really be and guess what? They said, no worries, we'll take care of this. Thanks for finding this out about this specific delivery company (ACHE-Best) we shan't be using them again and thanks for the referral! (So perky during our nightmare too!) "You'll be Hot Tubbing tonight Eh?" (They say Eh? in Canada...what a stark contrast to whatever they are smoking over there at ACHE-Best) We received a call from "Plan B" and golly-gee they were also amazing! Very pro. Heroic. The OWNER of the company at "Plan B" went to the ACHE-Best Dock and blithely picked up our hot tub with his brother-in-law and delivered it. You know that feeling when a Mom & Pop shop shows the big bad whiny company how it's REALLY done. Plan B...
exceeded our expectations. No questions asked. No problems getting back to our place whatsoever. Why should there be? ACHE-Best was the first delivery company to ever DECLINE a delivery to us. It was after-the-fact we found the myriad negative reviews with similar nightmares as ours. Buyer Beware!

This company is awful. It took them 7 days for a delivery of under 500 miles. It arrived to their center on a Tuesday, but they wouldn't do the final residential delivery until Thursday...and its on 35 miles. On top of that, their delivery window where you have to be there is 9-5. That is ridiculous.

Nightmare experience! They completely don't take any responsibility for what they promised. Their customer service center cannot be trusted. They don't even dare to pull out the voice transcript. Worst Company Ever!

Told by company our shipment would arrive today & that we needed to be available at home to sign & accept the delivery. Their website also said today was delivery day. Their website indicated the package was at their destination site (2 miles from our home) yesterday. Took off work, rearranged schedules, etc. to be at home. Never heard from them. Called & they said they're too busy today and that it will take them another 5 days (total of 6 days) to deliver it 2 miles to our home after it arrived at their destination center a couple blocks away. Ridiculous! Will let the Amazon distributors know not to use this company and will share these reviews (which seem to be pretty terrible by the looks of it). Their website & telephone delivery date appointments or phone promises cannot be trusted & they are indifferent to any inconvenience or money this may cost you. Came here to write a review & I've never seen a company with such poor customer reviews and ratings, so thisis likely not be an isolated incident.

Bad bad bad… My shipment was lost then found then delayed then stuck at the same location for few days… Now still waiting for it. It was supposed to be a 5-10 business day delivery max, but after 3 weeks and no news yet…. I don’t recommend this company.

I ordered the decking material and was supposed to receive it no later than Feb 7/23. After a couple of days, I checked the tracking showing that it would be delivered on Feb/9/23.
Today is Feb/9/23, and I still haven't received it. I checked the tracking showing that I would receive Feb/13/23.
I am doing construction, and I have wasted a week and am unsure if I can receive it on Feb/13/23, whether they will deliver my order safe and sound!!!
ABF Freight/ArcBest lost an entire pallet valued at over $6,200 our cost. Because we scheduled this with a broker, according to their "terms" all they are only willing to offer $580! And we paid for the freight for the pallet that didn't show up! How did this happen? The rep from ABF Admitted that they repalletized our boxes so they would fit on the truck but when they got delivered we were missing 30 boxes, one full-pallet. yet we have pallets on top of pallets (see pic). Shouldn't be possible. We had full-pallets. Their response? "they should have all been there".
When I called ABF the rep I spoke with said she was dealing with over 300 claims just herself. My advice find another carrier! I couldn't give it zero stars. Now I have to hire an attorney!
Absolute scam…they call prior to arrival and ask how will WE get the pallets off the truck. I asked if they had a lift gate and was told that this would be an additional fee to use the lift gate….what?!? Stay away from these con artists
Avoid this company if at all possible. We ordered a treadmill from Sole Fitness and it was shipped by this company. They called several days before the tracking number showed the treadmill would arrive to confirm an appointment.
The date and time of the appointment window came and went without any call, email, or text stating the order wasn't showing up. Even the tracking number on their website showed the same date and time window for delivery hours after the time had passed.
I got a call the next morning to reschedule delivery, but all the delivery times they were able to provide was during my work hours. I had taken half a day off work during the first delivery window in order to make sure I was home and the treadmill could be carried inside. When I explained this to the customer service rep she just kept telling me there was nothing they could do about it. There was no way to help my wife carry it inside the house. The rep then told me they could carry it "one room deep" and no further. I explained to her the room we wanted it in was one room deep, just through a back door (double wide) instead of the front door, but they refused to help. I had to contact Sole in order to get any assistance at all. The rep on the phone also offered no explanation or apology for the missed delivery window.
They lost my Bowflex treadmill I ordered. They are truly incompetent. I blame Bowflex for using them as their shipper. Don't use them if you have a choice in the matter.
This is the worst shipping company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Yikes.
Words cannot describe my utter frustration and disappointment with ABF Freight. They were hired to transport two garage doors from Colorado to Ohio. One of the garage door panels was severely damaged (metal buckled/bent; metal backside was punctured). Per the shipping instructions, the garage door panels were to be shipped on their sides and not stacked (per manufacturer). When the panels arrived via ABF, the delivery driver opened the back of the semi-trailer and we saw that the panels were laying flat and were stacked on top of each other. Since the panels were individually wrapped in cardboard, the damage was not clearly evident at the time of unloading. However, upon the removal of the cardboard, the CHI certified installer immediately noticed the damaged panel. To create the amount of damage inflicted, the garage door panel had to have been dropped, dragged, or shipped improperly. Since the damaged garage door panel is part of the CHI Shoreline series with carriage overlay, they won't just replace the damaged panel. They are saying that all three of the bottom panels must be replaced in order to ensure that the grain and the overlay matches up. Now I have to waste my time writing this review and filing an insurance claim. A few months later... the insurance agency declared the garage door as a total loss and is reimbursing me everything but the $500 deductible. While ABF did reach out to me on the matter, they basically did nothing to rectify this matter (lost $500 because of them). In conclusion, based upon my shipping experience with ABF, I strongly recommend avoiding ABF Freight as they don't follow shipping instructions which resulted in damaged/ destroyed goods.
The worst experience i have ever had in shipping. I was quoted one price and told them i need a box truck with a lift gate. The same reason i just canceled my shipment from a place in Clearwater Fl. Now i am late getting it shipped. No problem the guy said we got a box truck and the we will get right on it. He sends a transfer truck just like the last place did. Then after 2 more days they finally send the right truck pick up my order and charge me. Then send me a text message saying i owe more money. They put my shipment in lockup pending payment. When i finally relize my shipment wasnt made i find out i needed to pay for the liftgate and box truck. Then before they will deliver we have to pay for a liftgate and box truck again for the drop off location. Then on top of that it was damaged.
This company is what is wrong with America. This driver failed miserably, lied about it and had zero accountability. If you can get your vendor to use a different company then it would be in your best interests to do so.
Awful company with zero communication. I made a purchase, the company used "ABF Shipping" which is ArcBest. This was a large television, so I assumed that they would require signature.
The only communication is through you checking their website, Sunday night it showed the item was being delivered Monday, so I took the day off. Monday at about 10am the shipping switched to Tuesday delivery. Like a fool, I took Tuesday off and on Tuesday the shipping switched to Wednesday. Finally on Wednesday (today) a phone number popped up and the delivery says as of this moment that the item will be delivered Wednesday. I called that phone number and they now say that they will deliver Thursday. I asked for a time window as I have now taken off three days of work and the best they can provide is 8:00am-5:00pm. I am out about $800 awaiting delivery of a television because a shipping company is somewhere between disorganized and incompetent.
These guys will spam you a lot. As soon as you book the load at least 10 of them will start spamming all the emails that you company use. They will spam your wife, kids, dog and cat. You will have to spend 2 hours daily to block all of them. Be sure that you will have to report every move of your driver and that your inbox will be full in two days.
This is the most offal company I ever
encounter.
They hold up my shipment for 5 days without
trying to delivered.
and would not move it if I would not call in.
They are most expensive. They are twice as much
as other shipping company.
I paid more, because I thought they will provide
great service.
WHAT A MISTAKE!!! IT"S GOING TO BE 2 WEEKS
AND MY SHIPMENT IS NOT DELIVERED YET
AND IT"S ONE HOUR DRIVE TO DISTANATION!!!
I CALLED IN ASKING FOR DISCOUNT INSTEAD
THEY CHARGE ME $500 more THEM ORIGINALLY
ESTIMATED to DELIVERE SHIPMENT IN 1 HOUR
DRIVE.
STAY AWAY IN ALL COST!!!
ARCB.com is the same as ABF Freight @ABFfreight Just FYI
We placed an order online and the company picked ABF to handle shipping.
The guy arrived in his truck and as my husband and I walked over he didn't even bother to turn it off to hear what we were saying to him ( yelling over a truck engine while wearing a mask and being on a busy road makes it laughably hard to hear anything) on top of that he parked his truck a block away from our building.
We walked over to our building as he drove. Once he stopped the truck it took the driver 6-8 min to exist his truck as we waited for him by the back. Mind you it was 98 degrees that day so for us to have to wait for this guy to leisurely exist his truck was annoying to say the least.
When he got into the back he had no idea what he was looking for... a few minutes later he states that our box is all the way in the back ( not sure how that's our issue) but then because he didn't know how to handle this delivery he asks my husband to come up and help him!
So this delivery guy is wearing protective thick clothing/boots and thick rubber gloves and he's asking for help from someone who isn't... Of course my husband went up the truck to help but considering what a mess the inside of the truck was and the overall situation it was clearly unsafe. With my husbands help they moved the box towards the front and my husband lowered our heavy box onto our personal cart right off the truck. Why the delivery guy didn't lower it off the truck himself I have no idea.
The truck guy also asked to keep the large outer cardboard box from our package for some reason.
But the kicker was that this guy expected a TIP!!!!!!!
This was one of the worst freight delivery experiences I have witnessed. I cant image how all of this would have went down if my husband wasn't there to help and I was alone?
Why hire people who don't know how to handle a medium size delivery?
If you have a choice in the matter, don't work with this company - they are a nightmare.
bad experience, we did over 100 loads for this company, emailed them and called them for status and we got revoked for petty reasons. Not a recommended company. They look to deduct from trucking companies, on the most petty reasons. We delivered a load and they came up with excuses not to pay, after emailing me many times and calling driver. Dont waste time with this broker. Find someone more honest to work with
