Surprisingly fast

Fast shipping... The only issues were some of the 14 knee brace corbels were slightly off in sizing (less than a 1/4") difference. But not noticeable once installed.
The other odd thing is I ordered 14 in cedar , but two of them were made with Douglas Fur rather than cedar. Again not noticeable and not an issue when painted an Installed.
Bottom line, YES I would order from Architectural Depot again.

Another zero stars.

Another zero stars.

Same issues with delays and delays and more delays ... then got broken products. I ordered trim from ArchitecturalDepot.com in December. I kept being told the vendor was running late. I finally got the product in early February and all the trim was busted. I called and they apologized, reordered, got a "it's in the mail" email a few weeks ago, and nothing. It's now March. I emailed that I want my money back, including shipping, so we'll see what they say. It's past way too late for the trim.

I don't care about their vendors. I didn't order from them. I ordered from ArchitecturalDepot.com. Never again, and I would never recommend them.

Ordered Beams of a specific color and…

Ordered Beams of a specific color and they delivered a horrible job where the stain looks black. There is no variation. This happens when stain is applied improperly. So no matter what color you select, the stain is going to come out dark since these are faux beams and not actual wood. So despite what’s advertised, looks like their options are black, kinda black, sorta black, almost black. After spending 7k+, all they had to offer was an “it is what it is, no take backsies”. Horrible customer service. No offer of any resolution, not even a discount. Lost thousands for an important remodel. Will never trust this company.

ZERO STARS IS THE ACTUAL RATING!!!

ZERO STARS IS THE ACTUAL RATING!!!

I ordered 4 faux beams from ArchitecturalDepot.com on January 25, 2026. At the time of purchase, the estimated DELIVERY window provided was February 2 – February 4. This timeline was a critical part of my shopping decision because the beams were intended to be used to build a wedding ceremony arch for a wedding the second week of March.

On February 4th, I received an email stating the item was “in production but running late” with a new SHIP date of February 10th (note: this changed from a delivery estimate to only a ship estimate). The very next day, February 5th, I received another email contradicting the previous (February 10th) update, now the beams were on BACKORDER, not in production as previously stated, and the new ship date was moved to March 3rd. That same message suggested contacting them if I needed something sooner because similar products might be available.

Because of the wedding timeline, I called immediately and explained the situation to a customer service representative. I clearly stated these beams were for a wedding arch and that a March 3rd ship date would not leave enough time for construction. She told me she understood and offered to substitute different beams that were described as “already in stock and ready to go.” On her recommendation, I remained on hold while she verified this with the warehouse. After she confirmed availability, I accepted the substitution she recommended and received a revised order confirmation.

The new order confirmation stated “usually ships in 10–12 business days.” When I asked about this, she assured me it was an automatic system message and that the replacement beams would ship within the week once a freight carrier pickup was scheduled.

Despite those assurances, the order continued to be delayed. Because the updated invoice referenced a 10–12 business day shipping window, I decided to wait until February 18th to check again (10 days after the new order was placed). When I called on February 18th, I was told there was another delay and that the new ship date would be February 20th. When I expressed my frustration about the delay, I was told the beams were put through production as a quality control measure and that they would be out of production by the end of the day, the following morning at the latest. Because of this, the 20th was the earliest they could schedule a truck for pickup. On the evening of February 19th, I received another email, moving the ship date once again. This time, the ship date moved to February 24th. Absolutely frustrated, I waited. On February 25th, I checked the order status and it showed that the expected ship date was still February 24th. I once again called to get the correct status and the customer service rep told me she would contact the warehouse and find out what was going on and email me with a status update. Shortly after that phone call, I received the email and it stated that the order was now expected to ship March 2nd.

At that point, frustrated and angry, I immediately called back and told them I wanted to cancel the order because the beams wouldn't arrive in time for use to construct the arch before the wedding. The individual I spoke with told me the order could not be canceled because the items were custom order items and once they enter production, they can't be cancelled. Keep in mind, the original "custom" beams I ordered were cancelled because of a backorder issue and replaced with in stock, ready to ship items. I attempted to explain more than once the constant problems I've encountered with this order only to be repeatedly told there was nothing they can do, once a custom order enters production, it can't be cancelled.

My experience with architectrualdepot.com has been nothing but disappointing. This experience has been clouded with multiple conflicting status updates (on backorder vs. in stock vs. in production), repeated shipping delays, and assurances that ultimately amounted to nothing. Finally, the most recent (possibly fictious) expected ship date makes this product impossible to use for the upcoming wedding giving it zero value to me.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that anyone needing faux beams or similar architectural products research alternative suppliers before ordering from architecturaldepot.com. Especially if you have a firm timeline or event deadline that cannot move.

I purchased a kick board

I purchased a kick board. I wanted to return the item. I was given an RMA number and no address to return the item. The website failed me and customer support could not give me an address let alone a return label. Worst shopping experience I have ever had online.

Great experience in ordering shutters

The staff was very helpful in answering my questions on shutters. He also provided me with the exact model numbers I would need for the hardware.
I am very impressed with the quality of the shutters. These are not the cheap low quality shutters I saw at Lowe’s, Menards and Home Depot. I would strongly recommend this company and its staff.

Extremely Unprofessional Business

Tremendously unprofessional customer service in the returns department. I placed an order in the summer of 2025 for columns. I received the product and found the item to be an inaccurate website description. I requested an RA# and was provided with the return address. I paid $900 for the product to be shipped back by UPS freight. I waited for several months for a refund once I was aware it had been delivered back to the warehouse. After several phone calls to the return and accounting department I was told the product was not delivered. I provided all tracking info to show proof of delivery and was told they couldn’t help me. I requested my bank to retrieve the funds back; but shortly after Architectural Depot charged my acct again, I have asked to speak with supervisors and have yet to receive a call back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Their products are misrepresented online, they refuse to rectify the situation and they steal your money!

No product, no follow up, nothing.

Hello,
We placed an order for beams after significant planning and were assured at the time of purchase that the product was in stock and would ship within six days of ordering. That initial ship date passed, and the delivery was then delayed to the 15th, and again to the 21st.
It has now been over a month since we placed the order. During this time, we have received no proactive communication or follow-up from your team. I have both called and emailed on multiple occasions and was told each time that someone would “get to the bottom of it,” yet no one has followed up and we still have not received the product.
We were genuinely excited about this purchase and planned our project timeline around the original shipping commitment. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and continued delays have been very disappointing.
At this point, I am asking for a clear and immediate update on the status of our order, including a confirmed ship date, or guidance on how you plan to resolve this matter.
Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to your response.

Kimberly

The delivered wood was absolutely beautiful

The delivered wood was absolutely beautiful! I just wish the online website would have provided "out of stock" on the items I purchased. I made the purchase in November and I didn't receive the order until January. This project was for built in shelves and one piece of delivered wood was noticeably lighter than the rest.
