Did my day skipper theory with Ardent. So impressed that I came back for more. Now doing my Yachtmaster theory and just as impressed as before. Quality online in person and PowerPoint presentations. The communication is everything they promise. No hesitation in recommending them wholeheartedly.

Great course! Very well structured, it was a real joy attending it! The team has done a lot of work on it, and they did a great job, I cannot recommend it more!

Just completed my RYA Day Skipper course and exam. Each module of the course was well laid out and clear with excellent videos and explanations making it easy to follow. the Module assessments and knowledge checks helped with the understanding all the way through and if you could go back and re-do if you felt you hadn't quite grasped the subject. The mock Exam near the end means you can re-study any modules after the Ardent team gave you their prompt feedback and booking and completing the exam was straight forward and results within in a few hours later. Highly recommend Ardent Training!

Well structured, nicely presented teaching materials combined with a great instructor team giving very useful feedback to make sure you are successful in passing the course. Highly recommended.

I have just completed my yacht master theory course with Ardent Training. I also did my day skipper theory course with Ardent Training. In both cases the quality, content and structure of the courses are spot on. The videos and slides are well presented and the order of learning leads you through the course very well. The knowledge checks throughout are a nice bit which you can re-visit as you proceed through the course. I would highly recommend Ardent Training to any potential online student. Thank you.

Everything is great about this company and course. The communication before and throughout the course was friendly, professional, extremely timely and supportive. All materials needed (almanac, charts etc) were provided and well used throughout the course.

I did the RYA day skipper theory and thought that the course material was extremely well structured and explained from the big picture to the details with lots of practical examples and knowledge checks along the way. It was like being back at school, but in a very good way learning new things and getting inspired. I also liked the feature that you could see a video of a person explaining the topic at hand (on the boat :-) next to a text slide, and you could swap between these two. I am going to miss you Charly, Edd and Charlie, and huge thanks to the back office.

Very nice on-line platform for home studying. Very user friendly. The Chat Box function with real people on the other side is very nice too! I was able to learn a lot in a very short period of time, because the lessons are very well organised! Thank you and well done!

The instructors were very responsive and got back quickly at all times to my questions so that it felt like a live classroom. The curriculum was very thorough, well structured and flowed well. The quality of the instruction and the videos and interactive slides all worked very well. I was particularly impressed with the MOB drills and jumping in the lifeboat. This was a great course and I learned a great deal and enjoyed it as well.

This course is super well-structured and covers everything you need to know. The instructors are really friendly and they’re quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend it!

The presentation of the material by both video and slides works very well. It really does feel like personal tuition and all interactions whether they be questions on the subject matter or help with the Knowledge tests are quick, friendly and engaging.
Originally I hesitated at the extra cost compared to others but the recommendation persuaded me and I am so glad I did. It has been worth every penny.

Ardent Training provides an exceptionally well-organized and comprehensive review of RYA examination preparations. To top it off, the lessons are quite enjoyable as well!

I have just completed and passed my Day Skipper course with Ardent Training. I found the online course well paced, great blend of video, sketches and text. Great bite sized modules. Enjoyed all the presenters esp liked seeing them on board and being very authentic. I felt encouraged and supported throughout the course. And I feel confident to now put it into practice when I take some hands on sailing instruction in Greece later this year. How good!! Thank you Ardent Training.

Can't recommend Ardent Training enough for Day Skipper Theory.

The teaching is all provided using original video content, which has been professionally created by a group of people who are clearly passionate about what they do.

The course was slightly more expensive than some alternative options, but the enjoyable nature of the teaching, support & an excellent online portal more than offset the price.
