As a first-time buyer, I can honestly say Neil at Areti Mortgages made the whole process so much easier than I ever expected. From the very first conversation, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided me through every single step, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure I always understood what was happening.

Neil was super helpful in brokering our mortgage. We are first time buyers and were a bit unsure on the whole process but Neil’s great communication style and experience made it really clear. We are really pleased with the deal we’ve been offered and the timelines in which it was carried out.

We recently moved in to our forever home, an unusual property which didn't fit into high street lenders' mortgage criteria, so our mortgage in principle with a 'normal' interest rate fell though. We had engaged with a few different mortgage brokers at the beginning and our best option seemed like it was 'normal +4%'.

Based on a colleague's recommendation I called Neil Catley, who was happy to listen and openly said he agreed with the other broker's recommendation. He called back a few days later after a meeting with a private bank I'd never even previously heard of, where he mentioned our case at the end, and that conversation has turned into us paying a normal residential mortgage rate. He hadn't even tried to get our hopes up - I'd been just about to sign with that other bank, but he saved us an absolute fortune and doesn't even ask for a broker fee!

Really great service all the way through - highly recommended. Darren took charge of things on the mortgage front straight away, fitting me in at short notice to go through my options. He was able to offer up lots of advice and Neil was really helpful on the protection side of things too. Just a really decent company to deal with and nothing felt like too much trouble!
